Chapter 12: Chapter 12

Ella was walking quietly in the corridor of the school when she heard someone calling her name.

"Ms. Ella!" Ella looked back and saw a girl running towards her with a massive smile on her face. She huffed and stopped in front of her.

"Ms. Ella, Alpha Blaze wants to give you this," the girl said and handed her a paper. She politely bowed her head to Ella and walked away. Ella looked at her, confused, and decided to open the paper. She resumed walking while reading what's inside.

"Good morning, sweetie. Did you sleep well? I couldn't sleep a wink last night because I kept thinking about you. You have invaded not just my heart but also my brain. Have a great day, sweetie. Don't think of me too much. I'll see you later.

Handsome Blaze

Ella chuckled and put the letter in her bag. She sat on her seat and looked around. The class began, but there was no sign of Blaze everywhere. Ella heaved a sigh and focused on listening in front of her when a knock interrupted the class.

"Excuse me, Sir. We need Ms. Ella Scott," the man said. Ella's eyebrows creased. The man seemed familiar to her, and when it finally clicked, her face lit up. She remembers that he was a part of Blaze's band.

"Ms. Scott, you may go," the professor said. Ella grabbed her bag and left the classroom. She was bowing her head while following the man. Ella remembered the man was called Clarence. They stopped in the middle of the field. Ella glanced around, but there are no other students except for them, but Clarence disappeared when she looked back.

"Where did he go?" Ella asked; she noticed a small envelope lying on the ground. Ella picked it up and tear it open.

"FOLLOW THE ARROWS, SWEETIE."

"What the hell is this?" Ella said, but she couldn't help but smile. She looked around for the arrows, as stated in the letter. As Cassandra looks around her, she found one hanging on a tree. Ella followed the arrows until she arrived in front of the music room. She breathed deeply and slowly opened the door. Ella was welcomed by tons of balloons lying on the ground, and in the middle, Blaze stood up, holding a bouquet. Blaze looked at her and smiled, showing his white pearls.

"Good morning, sweetie. This is for you," Blaze said and handed Ella the flowers. Ella took it in his hand and smelled the fantastic scent coming from it. She looked at him and smacked his shoulder suddenly that Blaze couldn't react at all.

"Ouch, that hurt! Sweetie, you were mean to me," Blaze said and pouted his lips. Ella glared at her because it was the opposite. It's her hand that was hurt when she smacked him.

"Why didn't you go to class!? That's not good," Ella asked, irritated. Yes, Ella likes surprises, but if Blaze won't attend classes because of her, it's different. Blaze scratched the back of his head and pulled Ella closed to him.

"I'm sorry," Blaze said. "Did you miss me?" he added and smiled. Ella's face reddened.

"You wish!" Ella yelled and pushed him away gently. Blaze laughed and stole a kiss from her cheeks. He took his hand and intertwined it with his. Ella glanced at him and back to their hands. The two went out of the music room, walking side by side.

"Blaze, who will clean the mess there?" Ella asked as they kept walking.

"Caleb," Blaze answered without hesitation. Ella stopped, pulled her hand away, and stared at him.

"Are you crazy? You help them clean. If not, I will not talk to you anymore," Ella said and crossed her arms. Blaze chuckled at her and nodded his head. If Ella said so, he would do it. He held her hand again and continued walking. Murmurs and whispers of students welcomed them as soon as they're out in the open, but Ella never spared them a glance.

"I'll help them clean later," Blaze whispered. They went to the next class together, and Blaze was charming and gentle towards her.

"A little more, Blaze, and I will completely fall for you," Ella quietly whispered.

Across the room, on a bench, a man silently watched Ella. This was the mission given to him, and because of that, he couldn't do anything besides complete it without fail. The man prefers hunting and killing their kind and not the other way around. The guarding job is not for him. His disguise was perfect. After spending days in the town, he still wasn't caught. His phone suddenly rings.

Master

He immediately answered the phone and went to a secluded place inside the school. Because of the werewolves heightened sense of hearing, he couldn't let them know the conversation between them. He won't let the plan fail.

"Hello, Master," he politely said.

"Did you already see her?" his master asked. He nodded his head like he was in front of him.

"Yes, Master. I already saw your granddaughter," he replied. There was a long pause on the other line that he thought his master already ended the call.

"Good. Keep an eye on her. I need her here in the clan," his master said and finally ended the call. The man massaged the bridge of his nose and went back inside, watching Ella from afar.

"Hi!" a shirt-haired girl greeted him. The man ignored her and took a book out of his bag to read.

"Hey!" the girl said again with a smile. The man sighed and faced her.

"Will you please stay away from me?" he seriously said. The girl was taken aback.

"Snobbish," the girl said and walked away. He has no time to deal with petty things. He needs to make a move now. He needs to befriend Ella as soon as possible and know everything about her. It's not for his sake but for the hunters' clan.
