Chapter 1665: Chapter 1665

The Inheritor walked into the mountain cave full of anticipation. After he disappeared, the cave remained unresponsive, still dead silent. However, Mr Sun did not venture in. The place was too bizarre. Even if it wasn’t a trap set by the Inheritor, rashly going in without any understanding wouldn’t be a wise move.

Mr. Sun even cautiously stayed at a distance. He mulled over the ancient and profound symbols he just saw on the slide in his mind, attempting to decipher them... Suddenly, he felt a slight tremble from his body and the Heavenly Track. He was shocked: "Does this cave have a connection with the Heavenly Track? Does a part of the Heavenly Track manifest in a physical form?!"

Before Mr. Sun had time to validate this speculation, the once tranquil cave mouth silently discharged a bolt of lightning. With Mr. Sun’s strength, he was still unable to react in time and was struck by the lightning!

From afar, it looked like Mr. Sun was "stuck" by a bolt of lightning. His outline was encased in a layer of light blue, bright Thunder Light, with the skeleton within his body appearing translucent. Bound by the lightning, he was slowly drawn into the cave entrance!

Mr. Sun’s first reaction was: disaster has come! When the Great Concealment Realm gets involved in worldly affairs, calamity is inevitable; only the severity differed.

Mr. Sun remained conscious, his mind processing at high speed. Within the short span of time from being struck by the lightning to entering the cave entrance, he attempted seventeen methods of resistance and deciphering, but all proved to be unsuccessful. As his body was drawn into the cave, Mr. Sun felt his various powers being concealed, layer by layer!

The first affected were his various Magic Treasures, such as the Immortal Pivot Device and Phil the Swordswoman. He could still perceive their presences, but he could no longer use them. He couldn’t even see them with his naked eyes. He wondered whether they would dissolve into nothingness if he attempted to touch them?

Quickly following, were all the Divine Skills, Arrays, talismans, and similar abilities known by Mr. Sun; then it was his cultivation level and finally, Mr. Sun even discovered that the strength of his physical body was rapidly decreasing. It eventually stabilized at a level slightly weaker than an average adult!

"What kind of place is this cave?!"

Mr. Sun noticed that the stone walls outside the lightning were just ordinary rocks. The Inheritor willingly walked in; did he also undergo these suppressions?

Mr. Sun could not open his Domain or activate his Mini-world. Fortunately, he could still clearly sense Brother’s presence, which made him slightly relieved.

The cave in front of him suddenly accelerated its retreat. Mr. Sun could feel his frail body gradually unable to keep up with the speed, about to faint, yet he clenched his teeth forcefully, determined to stay conscious.

As his speed accelerated, Mr. Sun’s vision became fuzzy, eventually turning into a display of strange, multi-coloured illusions seemingly arising from the bedrock of his sanity!

Mr. Sun was drowsy yet refused to completely lose consciousness. He drew upon his strong willpower to resist the rising tide of hysteria.

After who knows how long, Mr. Sun suddenly felt a lightness on his body and those crazy colors and patterns disappeared. However, Mr. Sun was left with a splitting headache and his body feeling incredibly weak. Then he fell onto something with a thump. His nose and ears seemed to ooze blood, and his sight was a mix of darkness and flashing stars.

Lying immobile for an unknown amount of time, the frail Mr. Sun finally came around. His sight and hearing began to recover. He first heard the sound of waves, then saw the grey sky above. The Vault of Heaven was severely fissured, which naturally evoked fear. Next to those cracks were several dim orbs. Mr. Sun rested a little before mustering enough strength to count - there were eight "orbs".

They emitted a dull glow, barely illuminating this World, hence the entire World seemed grey.

Mr. Sun, suffering from a splitting headache, subconsciously thought: "The fallen Eight Suns? What’s up with the fissures in the sky..." After another short rest, Mr. Sun managed to prop up his upper body. He found himself on a beach by a pitch-black reef. Unnaturally angular, it was like a Giant Sword piercing into the sea from the ground.

Apart from the reef beneath him, there were hundreds of similar reefs plunging into the sea along the coastline.

The sea here was clearly not peaceful. There were no dark clouds in the sky, but fierce winds whipped up big waves. Out in the sea, a few small boats were supposedly fishing, but Mr. Sun’s deteriorated physical condition made it hard for him to see clearly at such a distance. The design of those small boats just seemed a bit odd.

"Have I traversed to another continent?" This was Mr. Sun’s first guess. But he had visited Central State before and had never experienced such comprehensive suppression of power. Mr. Sun first wiped off the blood stains on his body. Then with a thought, he sensed that Brother was in the sea before him, which brought him some comfort.

"Strange, why did Brother come out of the Mini Water World?"

Mr. Sun sensed that Brother was "hesitant". It evidently was curious about this new world but was too lazy to explore. Mr. Sun curled his lips: "You lazy bum!"

In the distant sky, a storm brewed. An enormous thundercloud, as huge as a towering mountain, formed instantly. Amid it, lightning flashed, seemingly slowly moved towards the coastline. Beneath the dark cloud, the sea water was visibly rising like a giant wall.
