I walked into the room and met Steve fast asleep on the bed.

I giggled and laid on top of him.

"Hey, babe" I whispered in his ear and he smiled.

"Hi...how's Andrew?" He asked with his eyes still closed and his voice shady.

"He's gonna be fine. We got drugs and some other things" I replied biting my lower lip.

He turned around and kissed me.

"Do you think Davis wasn't kidding about me getting fat?" I asked perturbed.

He rolled his eyes and kissed me again.

"He's just being a jerk like he always is. Dont worry about that, Tessy. You are perfect the way you are" He replied and I smiled.

I guess he's right. Davis would say anything just to make me think too much. Well, I barely know him. Not up to the years Steve has known him before I came along.

"Come on...I'll give you a massage" He offered and I flushed as he knelt on the bed.

He started off with rubbing my back and it felt so good. I hope Andrew doesn't interrupt this.

"That reminds me, the doctor gave me an invite to a couple seminar coming up soon. We would go together" I informed and he sighed.

"Really?...why do we have to go for such meetings?. We don't have any problem in our marriage" He asked with a crumpled look.

"I know but it's just a seminar. I think it'll help improve our relationship as couples" I said feeling buoyant.

"Alright...you win. I'll do all I can to be there" He said grumpily and I leaped.

"You'll enjoy it, trust me!" I replied exuberantly. .........(Next Morning)..... .........STEVE.......

I arrived at the office prepared to meet the new executive director. We'd continue from our last meeting and I'd give her lists of areas she should focus on as long as she's working for mom.

She looked neat, dressed professionally and tied her hair up in a nice ponytail.

We shook hands before settling down on the seats.

"How's your family, sir?" She asked cheerfully.

"They're fine.

You said you're done going through the files?" I asked turning on my phone.

"Yes and I've emailed the referral orders to the other departments" She replied and I nodded.

"Good. Two companies are being relocated to India as we speak. You'll travel to that place and oversee the movements" I stated and she tilted her head.

"Whatever you say sir...I'll carry it out immediately" She said rubbing her hands together.

"Well...let's get to work today" I chipped and got up from the seat. .............(Some Hours Later)..........

The sky was already starting to get dark and the employees had gone except a few and Rachael and I.

We were still sorting out mixed projects and offers she would supervise next week.

There's just something about her - I happen to like the fact that she's a working class lady and well educated.

I tried not to compare her with Tessy. Tessy's an amazing woman and is very creative in her own way. The fact that she didn't finish school doesn't make her less of a special and successful lady.

Besides, she wants to work but I won't let her. I mean...who will take care of Andrew??

"I'm done, sir" Rachel suddenly said and I glanced at her past the laptop on my desk.

"You seem faster than me. Nice work" I remarked closing my laptop.

"Thanks" She replied smiling.

"The secretary will finish up the rest" I mumbled with a short yawn.

"Alright sir. Since I would be traveling tomorrow, why don't we go out and have dinner somewhere. A treat from me" She offered with her eyes glistening.

I thought about it...

That would be great. I won't have to bother anyone when I get home.

I stood up and took my coat.

"Okay, let's go...but I'm paying" I pointed out and she chuckled...
