Chapter 301: Chapter 301
Chapter 300 To Handle Sextuplets
Nick Cage changed the story, but Cathy complained, "That doesn't sound good!"
Nick Cage changed stories again. Just when he was about to proceed, Julie shouted, "No!"
Josh started to speak softly, "Boing. I'm going to cry now, my tears are going to fall down any time, see? This is not nice at all"
Nick Cage was unbelievably very patient. He decided to change stories again, until Lily cried, "I want Mom."
Daniel's expression was like the end of the world, "Mom."
The blue veins on Nick Cage's forehead jumped, a voice deterrent, "Listen to me. Here's a good story! Go to sleep!"
"You. You yelled at me. Wow! " Peter howls directly.
The other five only followed the howl--
"Bad guy!"
Nick Cage was astounded and did not know what to say.
The six little ones cried together. Nick Cage started to have a headache and pinched his eyebrows.
He's never dealt with such a little thing before. What a hassle!
Nick Cage coaxed the children in the room for an hour before they fell asleep. If the six little ones hadn't been sleepy, they probably wouldn't have let him go so easily.
Nick Cage came out of the room and said, "What did you see?"
Bob didn't even think about what he wanted to say, "Mr. Cage, you were so kind to your children. This is the first time for me to witness something like that from you."
Bob looked at Nick Cage's cold face and silent eyes, and his words all of a sudden got stuck and he hurriedly changed his words, "I saw Mr. Cage was impatient with children. You also yelled at them."
Hearing this answer, Nick Cage left with satisfaction.
As soon as he entered the room, his cell phone rang.
Nick Cage looked at the incoming call, threw his cell phone aside, didn't answer or hang up, and just ignored and kept his phone ringing.
It's 11:00. Veronica Parker thought that the children couldn't sleep. She was afraid that they will not get used to the Winter Villa, and that they wouldn't stop crying.
She called Nick Cage several times to be sure, but he didn't answer.
She knew it was impossible for Nick Cage to hear his phone. He must have done it on purpose.
Was it to punish her and torture her?
Why wouldn't he answer her phone call?
Veronica Parker needed to clear her head, so she went to the bar.
On normal days, she wouldn't like a wine, let alone a messy place like a bar.
However, she needs it now. She thought that if she can't keep what she likes, why does it matter if she gets what she doesn't like?
She started to think that her life was a big joke played by God. She got pregnant by such a powerful man. She could have bore twins or quadruplets. But no, her fate was different. She had sextuplets.
Big people should be for big people. What a cruel, bad, and devil-like truth that is that affected her whole existence.
The more Veronica Parker thought about it, the more depressed she became, and the more she drank, the more tears fell down her cheeks.
She cried for a while drinking, and she felt her head spinning.
She got off the stool at the bar, shook her body, and started to get ready to go back to her place.
"Hey, little sister, are you alone?"
Veronica Parker looked at the young man who approached her. She sneered and asked, "Do I look like a little sister?"
"Like that! Are you still studying?"
Veronica Parker shook his hand and said with a smile, "To tell you the truth, my kids are your age."
The young man was stupefied for a moment, and then he came back to his senses and said, "Are you taking advantage of me?"
"Will you let me take advantage of you or not?" Veronica Parker put a hand on the man's shoulder.
The man saw that her behavior was so random and pure that his anger was gone in an instant, but his heart was still very itchy to get to know her.
Just as he was about to put his arms around Veronica Parker's waist, Veronica Parker's body was hugged by another man.
Toby Cage hugged the drunken Veronica Parker and looked coldly at the young man. "She has company!"
The young man left in disappointment.
Veronica Parker looked at Toby Cage. She then pushed him away unhappily and turned her back against him.
However, without taking a few steps, she stumbled and fell.
When she was about to hit the ground, Toby Cage caught him, picked her up, and walked out of the bar with her.
She saw a Bentley parked outside.
