Chapter 300: Chapter 300
Chapter 299 We Want a Fairy Tale Book
"I want Mom now!" Julie shouted.
The other three had small yet firm expressions on their angelic faces.
Bob was trying his best to appease their anger when Nick Cage appeared at the door.
"What's the matter?"
Bob stood up straight and nodded slightly. "Mr. Cage."
Nick Cage looked at the children standing or sitting on the bed and said, "Everybody out."
"Yes." Bob waved his hand and the maids went out. When he went out, he stood by the door, standing by, waiting on how successful Mr. Cage is going to be with his kids.
After Nick Cage appeared, the air was a little quieter.
Anyway, no one dares to ignore Nick Cage's aura so far.
Nick Cage, with a slight sense of accomplishment, just sat down on the edge of the bed.
"I want Mom!" Peter held up the little pistol, jumped directly on Nick Cage and climbed up his shoulder.
"I want Mom, too!" Cathy rushed up his shoulders as well.
Julie, Josh, and Lily all pounce together, clinging to Nick Cage.
Daniel stood there, fists clenched in two small hands, wrestling secretly.
Nick Cage was speechless. He did not know what to do.
He tried to take each one off on his shoulders and the rest of his body, then had them stand up in front. "Stand still."
The six little ones, with fleshy faces, stared at Nick Cage with disapproving eyes and turned a blind eye to him.
Even the fleshy feet on the mattress are working hard, and their lovely little toes are clasped tightly.
Liked their anger was pushing through from head to toe.
Others may think that the whole situation was cute.
Nick Cage was expressionless at first, then his voice softened and then he looked at Peter, "Do you like guns? I'll buy you all kinds of guns tomorrow."
Peter's big eyes lit up.
"I'll buy you chocolate." Nick Cage looked at Julie, and said to Josh, "I'll buy it for you, too."
Julie and Josh are drooling a little. "As for you, I'll buy you a ring, lots and lots of rings." Nick Cage said.
Lily's eyes twinkled like stars.
"You, on the other hand, can draw whatever you want with the car at home." Nick Cage said.
Daniel's small mouth is round, his eyes sparkle excitedly, and his cute look is even cuter.
Then he thought of Mom's teachings and shook his head, "Oh!"
"It doesn't matter, I allow it."
"Well." Daniel thinks on his face.
"How about drawing on the plane?" Nick Cage asked.
Daniel thought for a moment, opened his mouth happily and nodded hard. "Oh!"
As long as you get to know them, Nick Cage thought, it's not that hard to deal with.
Peter asked excitedly, "Can we take the aircraft?"
"Sure, we can go and sit there every day." Nick Cage said.
The six little ones immediately had stars in their eyes and were too happy to do so.
"Can I take my rest now?" Nick Cage asked.
"No!" Peter refused.
The other five also shook their heads and refused.
"I want Mom to tell us stories!" Cathy said.
"Lie down and I'll tell you one." Nick Cage said.
Daniel reminded everyone, "Books."
Nick Cage did not have fairy tale books available. The books in the study are not suitable for little kids to listen to.
He decided to take out his phone and said, "You don't need a book. It's on your phone."
"No! I want a book!" Peter turned out to have a bad temper.
"Me too. Ask for a book." Josh is going to cry.
Nick Cage turned his eyes on six round little faces and endured it. "Go to the study and get a book."
Bob was stupefied. Is there a fairy tale book in the study?
He went to the study real fast, looked around. There were lots of complicated books but there wasn't a single fairy tale book. Finally, he chose a psychology book.
He thought that it was the most appropriate among the choices since Mr. Cage badly needs psychological decision-making at the moment!
Once backed from the study, the kids gave Nick Cage a book. He opened it, put the phone on the book, and started reading fairy tales according to what's on the phone.
To Peter, it looks like he was really reading a fairy tale book.
"I haven't read that story before", Peter said. "I don't want it!"
