Nicolas's POV

"Why do you have Nicholas' phone?" I heard Cassandra's voice on my phone that was on the loudspeaker carried by Alpha Wilson

"Because of course I'm with him," he told her

" what ?"

“Okay, let’s make this short. You have two solutions. Either you come here and your friend lives, or you just keep running and your friend will die.” He said to her, looking at me.

"But either way, I'll find you," he told her to hear the silence on the phone, thinking

"Don't hurt him, I'm coming!" I heard her voice before the line dropped to look at me Alpha Wilson

I could sense his rage. I turned my eyes around the flock to look at the warriors of my flock who had been surrounded by Alpha Warriors Wilson and one of his guards standing behind me as a precaution.

Now my whole flock is in danger because I can tell he's not joking because he's going to kill me if I don't get his girlfriend back, and worse, he might destroy my flock too.

“I don’t know what your relationship is with her, but it is better that you forget about her from now on, of course, if you stay alive.” He said to me as he stood before me

" Why ??" I told him to put on a devilish smile

"Because I don't like it," he told me he meant he didn't like that Cassandra and I were close because I was male

"I will always be her boyfriend no matter what happens Alpha Wilson and I knew that when she ran away from you it would make you go crazy but can you control your anger a little she is someone who has suffered a lot and is still suffering" I told him to see his hand take a punch that he hated it that someone knows her more than him

Before he answered me, I saw him turn his head as if he smelled something, he only smelled it for a few seconds and I saw Cassandra walking up to us and she looked at me and looked around to understand what was happening before she looked back at Alpha Wilson

“You came now, leave him and say goodbye to everyone.” She said to him, and I feel her anger too

Alpha Wilson beckons for his warriors to retreat and turn away from my flock warriors. Cassandra looks at me

"I'm really sorry" She apologized to me and I feel sorry for the way she looked at me

"It's okay" I texted her, after all no one in our herd was hurt before Cassandra spoke to me more

Alpha Wilson offered her to carry her and put her on his shoulder, of course she resisted, but it was of no use and he started to move away from us

"Nicholas, I'm sorry" I apologized again even though she is in a position that is not suitable for speaking

"It's okay, see you Cassandra," I replied, after she began to disappear from my sight.

Cassandra's POV

“Do you know that this is a barbaric way to treat me?” I said to my companion who carries me on his shoulder as he carried me the last time

"Really?? Because I tried to treat you kindly, but I realized that it was useless" he said to me

He let me down when he opened the front seat door of his car to let me in before he took the driver's seat.

"You're crazy, attacking an entire herd and threatening Alpha." I told him

“Yes, thank you for being the reason for that.” He told me to look at him

"Why are you really doing this?" I asked him

"And you didn't know the answer."

"But I ran away from you"

"You ran away from them, not from me," he said, referring to the council's guards

"what will you do now what do you do now ?" I asked him while I was trying to find out my fate. Will I be extradited? Will I not be killed because I am his companion?? Are they just going to punish me??

“I will name you and make you the color of my flock.” He said to look at him in shock that he was really crazy. I remembered what Nicholas had said about his alpha companion.

"Okay, I won't talk to you because I'm sure you're not conscious and you're not thinking with your mind," I told him, ignoring further conversations with him.

“My mind doesn’t think well, so let’s continue our conversation”

“I am wanted by the council,” I told him

" but ?"

"I'm a murderer," I told him, even though I hate the echo of that word

"Liar, you're not a killer," he said, looking at me

“Why are you so confident?”

"If you were really a murderer, you would have run away and you wouldn't have run to save your ex-boyfriend, and by mentioning him, I haven't closed his topic yet. I'll hold you accountable for it, but later," he told me as he looked back on the road.

"Just for that reason?" I asked him

"What look?"

"Look that you're not a murderer, that you're innocent, that you're tired and that you need me," he told me to feel my heart start beating fast.

Cassandra whispered my name that made me happy despite the circumstances I live in now

After a long time we went back to his herd and his car stopped in front of that house from which I just ran away the day before we entered the house

" are you hungry ??" Salty

“No,” I replied

“Good because we have a long conversation,” he told me

"I'm tired and I see that it's late the sun will rise any moment" I told him to look at me as if he was thinking

"Okay," he told me, as I nodded and went upstairs. I was going to open the door to the room I was staying in, but his hand prevented me.

" what ?" I asked him

"You won't sleep here," he told me

"Then where will I sleep?"

“In that room,” he said, pointing to a room at the end of the corridor. I nodded and headed for her to come in

As soon as I entered, I found it much bigger than the previous room, it was luxurious, but surrounded by the feeling of a man's room in black and white, but it was beautiful and also why is it smelling so strong here?? I was going to close the door, but my friend surprised me when he entered and closed the door, I looked at him questioningly

"Why are you looking at me? It's our room," he said

Of course I wonder why he smells here because it's his bedroom

“But why am I here?”

"Didn't you hear it's our room, which means you're going to sleep here with me?"

“Why?”

"Because you gave me so many reasons to let you sleep on your own," he said sarcastically, as he walked up to open a huge wardrobe, picked up some clothes, and gave them to me.

“Change your clothes in the bathroom over there.” He pointed to his place to take the clothes, there is no point in resisting him now because he will not leave me

After I took a shower I put on his clothes that were bigger than me but they were comfortable and I went out to find he had already changed his clothes and was sitting on the bed I looked at the sofa So I'm sleeping on the sofa not and it was uncomfortable I once slept in the woods

" to where ???" His voice stopped me to point my hand at the sofa

"To the bed, Cassandra, or I'll get up and carry you again and put you on it." He said threateningly

"You're starting to lose my nerves with your successive orders," I told him angrily

“Really? Good for you to feel what I feel.” He told me to exhale into the air to not go to bed and go under my blanket, lying down.

Only seconds and I felt the side next to me bending down proof that he too had lay down I waited a little bit hoping he would sleep before I moved to try to stand Key word I try because he brought me back to bed with his hand around me on my stomach

My back hit his chest and his other hand grabbed both of my hands to hug me closer from behind my heart was pounding crazy

" to where ?" he asked me

"I'm going to make sure the doors are closed," I told him, because of me

"Cassandra closed it now, Nami."

“But just let me go make sure.” I told him as I tried to get out of his embrace

“I told you I closed it and also who would dare approach the Alpha house?” He told me to give up but he didn't leave my lap after a few minutes I started moving again trying to find a pillow to hug

“Why are you so mobile????” he asked, and I could feel his voice whispering in my ear exactly. I could feel my cheeks turning red.

“I need a pillow that I can’t sleep without hugging her” I told him before he sighed before I saw a pillow in front of me He gave me his pillow and he just fell asleep without it I grabbed her to give her a good hug While Wilson hugs me from behind For the first time in my life I feel safe For the first time in my life I feel warm For the first time in my life Fall asleep without worrying about tomorrow.
