Chapter 10: Chapter 10

"Then let me tell you why I'm going there today," said Adele, pulling out a notebook

"You know that our flock celebrates the individuals who will complete their transformation after this month is completed, right?"

"Sort of I mean, most of the herds give parties for people who have completed  6, which is their transformation, as a kind of encouragement for them."

"Yes, our herd also does this, and since there is no color, I am the one who cared for this for all these years, as the beta of the herd."

"Then are you going to start preparing from now? I mean, there's still  five days to be exact."

"It's such a small time, do you think it is easy to prepare a party that will be attended by almost half the herd?"

So what is the total number of the herd?

"It's a little big"

"I noticed, I mean the size of the big herd's house and the number of houses around it, is it about  00?" I felt her gaze focused on me

"How many people are in your flock, Alison?"

"About  50 people or a little more"

“Oh, I see, our herd is 500.” She replied, looking at her in shock, before I quickly focused my eyes on the leadership.

"Oh, that's really a big number. I mean, I noticed there are a lot of houses, but I didn't expect that many."

"In every house at least there are 5 or 6 people or more, not every house has only one child or they don't have children like me and Andrew" she told me to nod my head in understanding

"Where am I going now?" I told her when I saw the entrance to the city

“You can follow the navigation system, I set it, people are really cool, they invent these wonderful things.” She said to me to look at the system. .

"Well, I think you should learn how to do this, for in the future you will do it, since you will be the color, " she said to me.

"You don't need to learn that, it seems like I won't be a color, etc. Even if I were a color, I'm not good at these things, so you'll keep doing it."

"Whatever I will tell you now, we will start asking for the things we will need and the number of quantities for cooking. The party will include dinner for everyone and we will need large quantities. Then we must start looking for ideas to decorate the hall in which the party will be prepared."

“Hall? I’ve never seen her.”

"Yes, we have a huge hall where we make ceremonies for the entry of any new person to our flock, or if there is something that the alpha wants to announce, or if there is an event or some party."

"But where is it located? I mean, I've been discovering the herd for several days."

"Haha, even if you thought that you really discovered our herd, let me tell you that you won't be able to discover it all until a long time has passed. As for the hall, it is located on the south side, far from the herd's house and the houses, in order to let the big people rest and the sick people too. If there is a party or a gathering, it means the noise." "

“ Really? The previous alpha must have been thinking about his herd.” I told her to stop walking and look at me

"The previous alpha did nothing for the herd. It was the alpha william who asked to build it, and he defended us during the attack of other herds on us, trying to kill us. He built our future and the future of everyone in our herd, so we all respect him to a great degree, from the youngest to the oldest Only we know what he has done for us, even though he appears to people outside of our flock to be a ruthless and heartless person,” she said to me, and I can feel her devotion and how close everyone is to William as Alpha. My respect for him has increased.

"I see, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend him or anything."

"It's okay, I know, no companion can insult her friend," she said with a smile. Let's start walking again. We go to another store and after hours I felt a little hungry.

"Adele, is there still a lot of things left, what do you say we eat and then continue?"

"We're done anyway, it's time for dinner, let's take you to a nice restaurant," she said, pulling me up the elevator back to the garage downstair

"Allison, wait for me in the car, I'll answer Andrew," she said, showing her phone.

"Look over there, Alison," Adele pointed to a large hotel that looked luxurious

"It looks really luxurious, people love these things" I told her

“Yes, it is among the Alpha Williams hotel chains,” she told me, as I nodded at her

“Most of the people working there belong to our herd,” she added

"Then do you mean that he has hotels in places other than this city, which are close to the herd?" I asked her

"Yes, he has a chain in other cities where there is no herd . "

"Andrew," she shouted

I looked around to feel my heartbeat starting to increase when I saw William sitting across from Andrew

Adele let go of my hand and ran to sit next to Andrew and waved to William, who replied by shaking his head I walked up a little to see the only empty place next to him I sat there and I felt he was

looking at me but I didn't look at him I just looked at Andrew and Adele

"So have you explored the city a little?" Andrew asked me

“Yes, Adele was like a guide, she knew everything.” I told him, Adele smiled, and a waiter came to take our orders.

"Alison, let's eat seafood. I know we always eat meat because of our nature, but the seafood here is great, believe me." I looked at her, I don't know how to answer

"Don't you like fish?" Andrew asked me

"No, I like fish, so let's take the fish," I answered to ask the waiter. I think William wouldn't mind either.

There's just a small problem with seafood, believe it or not, I'm allergic to shellfish, even if I'm a werewolf. That doesn't mean I should have a healthy body without anything negative.

I was young when I first ate oysters with my mom and dad to start with redness in several areas of my body and nausea before I fell unconscious and so I found out I had an allergy The herd doctor said my body just refuses it even if I'm a werewolf and since then I've been away from eating Marine in general.

We kept talking, Adele, Andrew and I while William was just sitting there watching us silently. He doesn't talk much. Is this an advantage or a disadvantage? I don't know yet.

After a while the waiter came forward to take down our plates, each with a mixture of fish, I waited for mine to come down, I looked up to thank the waiter, but I saw him looking down, or specifically my legs.

“You can go.” A voice spoke next to me. I looked at William, who seemed to have an angry look, as he looked at the waiter, who, as soon as he heard his angry voice, turned to go quickly. I looked away from him and grabbed my fork. Well, I could do this. I ate a small piece. It was a fish, not a squid. Squid with a fork.

"Don't you like this food? Since I go down you haven't been eating" Adele asked me

"I'm just trying to sort it out ."

"Sort it? From what?"

“That….” I was silent for a while. It was embarrassing

. The chance of a werewolf having some kind of sensitivity was very small.

"I'm allergic to shellfish, I know it's ridiculous, but..."

"Silly? Is having something that puts your life at risk is ridiculous???" William who spoke the longest sentence since we sat here interrupted me and I looked at him

"I didn't mean to" I told him and I felt really angry I watched him stand up and grab my plate and go I don't know if he's going but I think he'll just bring that plate back

"You should have told us that, Alison, as William said, it's not ridiculous, and also, why don't I know that?" Andrew said

"It's not like you should know everything about me Andrew," I replied and looked at Adele, who was looking away as if telepathically communicating with someone.

“However, there is something of this importance that I should know.”

"Alison, is it okay with chicken, I think you like it?" Adele said to me

" when ?"

"Alpha asks about it" So she's teleporting with William

“Of course I love him” I answered, looking into the void again

After a while, I think, about ten minutes, I saw William coming back with a plate in one hand and a jacket in the other. He came to stand in front of me. He lowered the floor onto the table that contained the chicken before opening the jacket and putting it on my knees and sitting in his place.

“Thank you,” I said, moving his head softly. I adjusted his jacket over my knees. He must have gotten angry at the waiter’s looks, so he brought his jacket. I grabbed my fork and started eating.

He cares, he cares about me, us.
