I laughed. “You are not serious.’ I muttered.

“Remember how nervous you were because Mom was in labour back then? It took hours for her to put to bed and when she finally did, we were all happy and had a huge celebration all night.”

I smiled a little. “Yeah, father got heavily drunk and nearly danced around the streets in happiness.’

“He was almost naked. He wanted to shout to the world about his wife putting to bed and there were also a lot of guests on that day.’

“Some were already asking for Oceana’s hand in marriage. I wanted to beat up that stupid alpha for doing such a thing.’

He began laughing. “And I could also remember him saying he wanted to get betrothed to Oceana before someone else took her away from him.’

“And the idiot was already married.’ I said in annoyance.

“Yeah, he just wanted a virgin all to himself. What a piece of junk.” He laughed and stretched out his legs.

“Really, a piece of junk and a disgusting paedophile.’ I agreed.

“If you recall, when Mom gave birth to Alex, it wasn’t as exciting as when she gave birth to Oceana.’

“Yeah, we all thought it was going to be another girl, but to our disappointment, it was a boy.’

“Glad he turned out to be an Alpha, though. I could already imagine what his life is going to be about,’ Carmine giggled.

Alex hated being an Omega.

“Seriously,’ I rolled my eyes. “Don’t let him hear those words from you. He will get mad.’ I joined in.

“Wait, seriously, it will definitely suit him to be an Omega. He will be super cute and pampered.’

I laughed so hard. “Come on, don’t let him hear you saying those words. He’s gonna get fucking mad, Carmine. I’m being a real dude here.’

“Yeah and I don’t give a damn.’ He stated and turned to me with a blank expression. “Gerard,” he called me.

“What is it?’ I knew where this was coming from and what he wanted to say to me.

“It’s time for Oceana to know the truth.’

‘What truth?’ I feigned ignorance.

“That you are not her biological brother,’ he blurted out as he whispered.

I sighed. “How is that going to change anything?” I asked, and he turned to me once again.

“She has to know the truth…”

‘That will worsen everything, don’t you get it?’

“It’s already getting worse, and she doesn’t give a damn anymore. She thinks you are her brother. That Alpha I call my sister will burn her hands to keep you warm. She loves you as fuck.’

“Will you shut up?” I flared up. “Cut the crap and stop telling me bullshit, Carmine, can you fucking hear yourself right now?’

“Of course, I know what I’m saying. It’s high time you tell her the truth before things go south.’

He was right.

It was high time; I told the truth, but I can’t do that.

Since I have broken my promise, I only have to take one more step now or else my father will have my head.

“Mother found out about my feelings for Oceana.’ I revealed.

“She WHAT!!” Carmine yelled.

“Bring your voice down.’ I cautioned.

“No, no, Gerard, tell me it’s not true that mother found out about the both of you.’

“Yes.’ I whispered.

“Fuck, shit!’ he cursed.

“That’s why I want to make the next decision, since my father also found out as well.’

“What are you going to do about this? This will bring so much trouble.”

“There’s…there’s only one way now.’

“And what is that?’ he quickly questioned.

“You know my next action, Carmine.’ I sadly smiled. “Thanks for always being there for me.’

“No, no, don’t do this Gerard.’

Oceana’s Pov.

I got up from the bed with an aching back, turned to the side of the bed and noticed Gerard wasn’t present.

I quickly got up, washed up, and put on my dress so no one would suspect anything.

However, last night was amazing.

I could never imagine he would be so good in bed and his crotch was big too, damn he was impressive.

I want him inside me again.

But why did he suddenly come to my bed yesterday and have sex with me?

What happened? Has he decided to throw caution to the wind?

A week passed. I searched for Gerard, and he was nowhere to be found.

I barged into my parents’ chambers, worried, and I saw them sipping their coffee and discussing between themselves.

“Sweetie, why did you barge in like that?’ she asked and dropped their coffee on the table in front of her.

“Where is Gérard?’ I shouted at them.

“Don’t you have manners, young lady?’ she stepped in.

“Where is HE? I don’t want to hear anything. I will get mad if someone does not find him immediately. He can’t be missing again and disappearing. Where did you send him off to, mother?’

I didn’t care anymore about my manners as I yelled as loud as I could.

My mother got up from her chair and slapped me so hard across my face.

“You are going to get married to the man I give you. Your little disgusting romance with your brother is over.” She dropped the bombshell on me.

I looked at her in horror, and she just laughed wickedly.

“You think I don’t know you are his mate? The truth is out already, and he concealed it from us for years. He really tried hard. I wish I had prevented him from coming back here.’

And the next word that came out of my mouth.

“Where is he, Mother? If you don’t provide him right this minute, I’m going to go find him. He is my mate. You have no right to take him away from me. He is all I have, and how could you take him away? Where did he go?”

She yelled in my face. “He is your brother…”

I stepped and yelled back, took a vase and smashed it to the floor, injuring my hand.

“I don’t give a damn. If he is my brother, he was all I had. You knew that since I was a child, you took him away from me for eight years. He came back to me and you sent him away again. What the fuck is wrong with you?’ How could you send the person I loved so much away from me? How dare you?’

She pointed her finger at me. “You know what, Oceana? I am your mother and you are going to do as you are told or else I will have you dealt with. Don’t push me to the wall.”
