Chloe's Pov

It was morning already and I was all dressed up with my bag tugged on my left arm heading downstairs to greet my parents before going out to clear my head.

I walked to the living room and saw them sited on the sofa as expected both discussing.

"Good morning dad, good morning mum." I greeted the both of them taking a sit on another sofa facing them.

"Good morning princess!" Dad replied with mum as well, "Good morning baby,"

"You're up early and dressed up going somewhere?' She added inquiring.

"Yeah, I wanna take a stroll around a bit to clear my head." I answered.

"Do you have a specific place you're heading?" Dad asked.

"Not really. Is there something you want me to do?" I replied thinking maybe something was wrong.

"Yes, I need you to help me manage things in the company for today, you see I'm feeling a slight headache." He said.

"That's not a problem, I'll manage things for you." I stated.

"Thank you princess also don't worry about your date with Brian in the afternoon because I already inform him about it so he will come pick you up from the company." He uttered.

"Seriously dad? Hold on does this mean you planned on sending me over to the company all along just to make Brian pick me up there to give people the impression we're some kind of best lovers? How could you do that dad?" I asked in shock.

"Sweetie, you need to get close and be free with Brian and you too know that as well. In a week time your wedding will take place so I want you guys to have gotten a little use to each other before the wedding, is there something wrong for a helpless father trying to make his daughter forget her past relationship and move on and get to know not all men are the same like that son of a bitch who shattered your heart, answer me?" He inquired bitterly with anger.

"This is really serious than I thought, all I know is that Brian and I can never be a thing ever and even if we get married living under the same roof, nothing will ever change my mind." I thought staring at dad who was looking sad likewise mum too.

"Have heard you dad,"I murmured not audibly since I was feeling angry as to why he wants me to get married to Brian by all means.

Something is really fishy somewhere which I can't lay my hands on but with time I'll find out about it.

"That's good my princess, don't take it as if I'm forcing you to get married to Brian for my selfish interest which I can never do to you. I'm doing all this for your own good and am sure later on you'll understand why I did what I had to do." He said sadly.

"I understand and I accept without objections so you don't need to feel sad." I responded even if I still don't understand the last statement, I moved close to him and mum and sat in between them.

"Thank you angel," He replied and peck me on the cheek and I got into his embrace while mum was just staring and smiling warmly at us.

After the long moment with dad, we talked about business and had breakfast in the living room before I left for the company.

Brian's Pov

"I'll pick her up, thank you sir for the big favour." I uttered sincerely.

"It nothing son, I know my daughter will be safe in your hands and I hope she falls in love with you as well soon and forget about her terrible past permanently for good." Mr. West, Chloe's dad expressed.

"I will wait for her no matter what." I said firmly with courage.

"Okay Brian," He replied.

"Thank you once again sir," I added before cutting the call.

"What a great news to start a day with, you're damn fortunate Brian." I uttered praising myself.

Who could have thought Chloe's parents will love me this much for their daughter and come up with a plan to make us get closer to each other.

I'm fortunate indeed. I need to make her drool even more today just like last night with her long stares on me.

I just hope I don't get too excited seeing her and forget my act which means Aaron will have to tag along with me. The dude is really a nut cracker but I won't let him beat me at it like yesterday.

You'll be mine soon Chloe, you've been my dream for so long. I can't wait for us to get married and you falling in love with me and having our first sexual moments with love and have lovely kids.

Chloe's Pov

It was past 12 noon and I was still working on the files the secretary brought to me a while ago when a soft knock at the door distracted me.

"Come in," I said and continued what I was doing.

I was so focused with the files and forgot who walked in until I heard the footstep of a person not just one but two different footsteps which made me take my head up to see Aaron and Brian in the door.

Brian was looking extra ordinary cute, charming and good looking. I wish I could get to touch his hair, face and probably his pink lips.

"Oh God! What am I saying? What's really wrong with me, I need to remove all these words forming from my head away. I can't fall for anyone not even him no matter how handsome he looks and how he's already affecting me negatively making my heart trying to betray me. I can't let that happen." I thought standing firmly on my words.

"You're here already," I found myself murmured.

"Good afternoon Miss Chloe," Aaron said smiling broadly.

"Hi Aaron, good afternoon." I replied and added, "Good afternoon Brian," and got up as they walked towards me.

"Good afternoon Chloe, I hope we aren't disturbing you?" He asked.

"Not at all, please you guys should come have a sit before I round up what am doing. I hope you don't mind?" I inquired.

"No we don't, thank you!" Brian replied as Aaron help him out to take a sit before he did the same.

I quickly round up the files and took my bag not to keep them waiting for long, "I'm set, can we go now." I stated.

"Of course," Aaron replied and help Brian up again as we proceed out walking side by side with Brian while Aaron was beside him.

The moment we got downstairs all the employees kept staring at the three of us muttering some words which I heard.

"They look perfect and cute together, they'll make a great family and have beautiful and charming kids just like how handsome and beautiful they look." That was a bit of the words they kept commenting about Brian and I.

We got outside the company as their bodyguards help open the car door for us which I got in along with Brian sitting right next to me while Aaron got into another car.

This is really an awkward moment sitting right next to my fiancee. His cologne is so enticing and staring alone at his face feels like I was staring at a glittering diamond.

"What's wrong with you Chloe? I think something is really happening to my body system which I can't understand or even explain. I just hope it's not the feeling of love for this handsome man sited right next to me?" I wondered all through the ride to where he has plans of us for the date.
