Brian's Pov

"It tastes good bro, cooking all this for the dinner because of her. I'm getting envious how your love for her is growing each passing day. Mine isn't as this, I can hardly make a meal not to think of making one for my girlfriend." Aaron said.

"Thanks Aaron but you don't have to be envious of this, Chloe doesn't even know any of this or how I do feel for her is true and pure feelings straight from the heart but yours is different. Kara loves you so do you, but mine is incomplete and one-sided." I replied telling him the real fact.

"That's true Brian but don't worry, with time she will grow to love you, you don't have to force it." He motivated me.

"Okay Aaron, let me finish up with the cooking then take a shower after that and get ready for their arrival." I uttered to him and with that I continued with the cooking and in no time it was all ready.

I do hope she gets to enjoy it also she musn't get to know I made it because if she does, the suspicion will be clear to her that I'm not blind and that's game over before the wedding which I can't afford to let the cat out of the bag just yet.

Chloe's Pov

"Mum just give me a second, I'll be out." I yelled from the restroom.

"No problem darling, take your time in getting sexy after all we're going to your fiance's house for the dinner." She replied from the room with a loud chuckle.

"What a joke mum, am not into him as you think. I told you, it because I got scared of falling off which he caught me right way." I stated and came out to join her.

"Keep saying that baby, but as far as I know, you and Brian are gonna be a thing far from expectation and you both love chemistry will be an untold story to your children." She responded.

"Mum! No love story is gonna be between Brian and I." I emphasized.

"Keep that to yourself baby, you won't understand now until you both tie the knot together that's when the whole love story will begin." She said sounding sure and serious.

"I won't make it happen because all of them are the same just trying to act nice and cool until you get closer to them that's when they use someone." I mentioned.

"Since you're saying all men are the same, what do you say about your dad is he like Joseph? No, he isn't so not all men are the way you're classifying them as and I bet with you, Brian isn't like that because he was raised decently and will never willingly do anything to hurt you." She stipulated.

"I don't care mum, my mind is made up. I can't fall in love with any man again." I uttered clearly.

"Let see how you're gonna deprive your heart from falling in love again."

Why is mum insisting on ground, I'll fall in love again when it my choice, if I want to but I don't want to ever again.

"Can we dismiss the discussion mum, please?" I hinted in a pleading tone. I've had enough of the falling in love again talks.

"Of course I will but it gonna come to pass and when you do, you'll remember what we discussed today." She said and added, "get dressed, we'll be leaving soon."

"Okay mum, I'm sorry if I was being adamant but I don't wanna get my heart broken again." I admitted.

"It fine baby, I was the one pressuring you since you confided in me on how you felt the day Brian saved you from tripping off the floor was a sign of love. I'm so sorry honey." She commented.

"You don't have to be mum, the problem is all from me." I insisted.

"Let not ruin today with tears." She said changing the topic and laughed.

This is one of the reasons why I love her so much, she knows how to turn a situation leading to tears the other way round.

"Mum, you're Unbelievable." I mumbled and join her laughing.

Brian's Pov

"They're here Brian, you need to act cool and Chloe musn't know you made the meal." I mused silently before walking outta my room to see Aaron about coming to my room.

"I just came to get you, they're here and your fiancee is looking super duper. I hope you don't drool too much over her." He joked.

"That's a must dude, let go." I answered and he grab hold of my hand as we head downstairs.

We got to the dining area and the first person that caught my eyes was Chloe. She was dressed in a black dress exposing her thighs and cleavage as she she stood up staring at me.

She's so dreadfully beautiful as always trying to make me completely crazy on her looks and everything.

"Chloe, you won't be the end of me one day because I don't want to ever get separated from you." I wondered.

"Good evening dad, mum," I greeted her parents.

"Good evening Brian, how are you doing?" Mr. West asked.

"I'm good sir." I replied.

"Good evening dear." Her mum replied.

"Good evening Brian." Chloe greeted.

"Good evening Chloe," I replied smiling while Aaron who was standing beside me kept chuckling at intervals.

"Come over boys, let have dinner. I'm so famished to taste the special meal made specially for one person." Dad said and winked at me.

It time Brian, I hope she likes the treat specially made for her." I conceited deeply as Aaron and I moved to join everyone on the dining as the maids begin to dish out the meals one after the other.

Everyone begin to eat including Chloe who was served spaghetti and meatballs.

She took a bit of it and paused for a moment.

"Uhmm... who made this please?" She asked no one in particular.

I knew it was gonna taste bad since it been long I cooked anything.

"Oh sweetheart, I made all of this just for you, do you like it?" Mum responded.

She can't get to know I was the one who cooked the meal, the suspicion will be clear.

"It's the best I've ever had. Thank you aunty." She answered smiling and took a spoon again.

"You're welcome honey, you can have as much as you want." Mum said to her and smiled at me sweetly.

Not quite long Chloe and I were given some privacy to talk and here we're in the garden as she holds my hand in hers making it look we are couple already who are so much in love.

Someday, she and I are gonna do so much than holding hands together and become best couple.
