Chloe's Pov
The journey from the mall was so exhausting, "I need a lot of rest right now." I muttered heading to my room.
I walk into my room dropping the shopping bags on the bed before jumping on the bed laying like a lifeless soul.
"I'm so damn tired." I mused and flip around on the bed.
Today indeed was so tiring as I kept trying different wedding dresses until I saw a pretty off shoulder one with beautiful cuttings at the legs and tried it on to see it fitted perfectly and elegantly on me.
Mum and Brian's mum were just praising how the dress looked good and perfect on me.
It just left a week to the wedding and everything is happening so fast and before I know it am Brian's wife starting a new life with a man again which I never had plans for.
But sometimes it better to embrace the new things and forget the old things and that's what am doing by marrying Brian and living with him as his wife but things will still remain the same. No falling in love again and it final.
Love isn't for me anymore because it only leads to unnecessary pain and sorrow so love again is outta my picture.
Brian's Pov
"Bro, I must say your bride looked good." Aaron said.
We were already back from the mall not after watching Chloe in the dress for long before shopping for the suit we came for and left on time not to get caught by any one of them.
"She perfectly do," I answered and added, "she's gonna look more beautiful than this on our wedding day."
"Yes but just chill, okay?" He said laughing.
"I will." I replied thinking about her in the wedding dress once again.
"Buddy, I'll leave you now to enjoy while I go meet my girlfriend." He stated.
"Sure," I uttered absentmindedly as what was all on my head was the image of Chloe in her wedding dress.

"Sweetheart, I invited them over for dinner, don't you think it gonna be so lovely bringing them closer with one another tonight and giving them some privacy while we parents have our own discussions?" I heard mum uttered to dad.
"It will." He answered as I made my way to the dining.
"What could they have possibly planned?" I wondered before greeting them both, "Hey dad, hey mum."
"Hi darling," Mum replied beaming.
"What's up son? It a good thing you showed up now." Dad said.
"I got lucky I guess so what's going on?" I enquired and took a sit close to him.
"Your mum and I are just discussing about it. She invited Chloe and her parents over for dinner so you both can spend a private time together in the garden or around so what's your thought?" He explained.
"There is no need to discuss this with me because I sure do agree with that. I do wanna see her again." I replied smiling.
"I always want the best for my baby," Mum said and chuckled.
"Thank mum, thanks dad." I uttered extremely happy.
"It not a big deal son, but what if she falls in love with you and got to find out you lied about being blind just to win her how will she feel?" Dad asked suddenly making the smile off my face turned sore completely.
"I really don't know but she's gonna feel used and betrayed which I don't want at all but I hope our love wins in between if it happens. I only put up this act to see if she will fall in love with me not my looks but by heart." I spill out to them.
"It's alright son, love will conquer everything." He assured and I nod in response.
It hurt I'm making a lie to get her to love me which isn't suppose to be. I just hope she forgives me.
Chloe's Pov
After taking a long nap of 2 to 3 hours, I felt good and much okay after having a nice warm bath which eased my body as I went to the kitchen to make lunch since it been a long time I made a meal.
I walk into the kitchen and meet few maids setting up lunch when I told them I will be the one making it.
I thought of making vegetable spaghetti and with the help of the maids I set to work.
It was done in no time and I served the meal on the dining and called mum and dad to join me.
"I love you baby," Mum bemoaned after taking a mouthful of the spaghetti while dad kept eating without saying a word.
"I love you too mum." I responded and turned a question to dad, "dad, how is it?"
"It's the best ever princess, thumbs up." He said and continued digging in the food.
"Thank you dad." I answered and chuckled.
"Darling, Kate invited us over for dinner, it slip off my mind that I forgot to tell you earlier." Mum said to me referring to Brian's mum.
"Okay," I responded without adding another word again.
Brian's Pov
"I need to do something to make the moment romantic, what can I do?" I thought with a long pause and added, "think Brian."
I kept trying to think of something strolling around my room until an idea came up to me to make dinner.
It may sound lame but it still gonna be worth it, I'm sure it will.
"I'll make the meal today," I said firmly and went to meet mum in the living room.
"Mum, I wanna make the meal for the dinner." I said.
"Why dear, I'll let the maids have it done. You need not stress yourself, go relax for tonight." She replied.
"I've thought about it and I wanna do it." I uttered determined.
"As you wish." She accepted smiling.
"Thanks mum, I love you." I said and peck her on the cheek and went over to the kitchen and luckily none of the maids were there which means they have all gone back to their quarters.
Mum taught me how to cook since I was nine and the spirit of cooking still lives in me. I'm gonna make three different type of spaghetti pasta in other words: primavera carbonara, spaghetti and meatballs, crock-pot spaghetti with salad and lobsters.
I wish it something she will taste and fall in love with me but it just an expression which can't happen and besides love can't be forced but built by showing care, affection, giving the whole of you to that person you love.
