Chloe's Pov

"How was the little tour and lunch Miss Chloe?" Aaron asked smiling widely the moment he saw Brian and I approach them.

"It was great, thank you!" I answered smiling back forgetting my hand was still on Brian's hand until he added grinning, "When will you both release your hands?" And immediately I release my hand from his.

"Aaron, you shouldn't have said something like that." Brian stated with gritted teeth.

"Chill buddy, it nothing bad to ask her about that, right Miss Chloe?" He turned to me asking.

"It nothing, I really don't mind also can you call me Chloe instead of putting Miss." I stated.

"You see brother, she didn't complain," He said and added, "thanks Chloe."

"You just got lucky now little brother." Brian stated before urging me into the car.

I got in and he did as well before we hit the road not without Brian promising to drop me off at home.

I came outta the shower with only a towel and dried my body before putting on a pink pajamas which I had placed on my bed before hopping back on the bed when the scene that happened between Brian and I came back rushing to my head.

I can't believe he was able to grab me before I could fall and the way he grab hold of me by the waist made me felt a spark all of a sudden, I don't know why I had that feeling but I can't deny for the fact that I was staring right at his lips.

They were so tempting and killing, I don't know what that man is doing to me each time I get close to him. It as if my heart is falling for him but I can't fall into another man's trap again, my heart is mine and it should obey my wants not betray me even if people do say, 'follow your heart because it always right and will never lead you astray.' Sometimes it not always right like they say, it does betray and I don't want another betrayal.

"I just hope my heart follows my wants and not give out a hand by falling in love with my blind husband to be." I pondered.

I do hope because with the looks of things, I'm feeling new changes in me which weren't there after Joseph left me in pieces. Falling in love again will means giving the whole of me to him and I don't know if he's gonna treasure my heart if I do so.

Sometimes I just need an advice from someone who is gonna tell me if it's the right thing to do by following one's heart. I'm so not sure about this new feelings, I'm just confused with everything right now.

"I feel my heart is gonna betray me by falling in love with Brian, I wanna stop that from happening before anything." I said to myself still wondering when a call came in on my phone which I checked to see It was from an unknown caller and the numbers was highly secured and private.

"Who could this be?"I conceited and picked it up.

"Hello,"

"Hello Chloe, it's Brian." The voice which was for Brian uttered.

"Hi, I didn't know it was you." I finally stated.

"Yeah, your dad give me your number." He said.

"Oh really." I murmured unable to believe dad was getting too far about making Brian and I get close.

"I just call to check up on you and also thank you for going out with me. Thank you!" He said expressing gratitude through his voice.

"It's okay, I did enjoy it. Thank you for that." I responded.

"The pleasure is all mine. I know opening up about yourself to me was difficult but thank you for doing so and for trusting me." He added.

"You're welcome."I replied and with that we started another conversation about ourselves.

Brian's Pov

"I wish the call should never have ended but it had to." I said audibly to myself.

I do see her in my sleep every passing day, her love has turned me into a man who can do anything just to be with the woman of his dream.

I want her to be mine forever and treat her with everything she deserves and I believe soon it will come to pass.

I got up from my bed and head to take my bath. On coming outside, I met Aaron on the bed going through my phone.

"What are you doing with my phone Aaron?" I asked and snatch it from him to see he was going through my call log.

"Aaron!" I yelled at him and he just burst out laughing.

"Not funny dude." I added.

"You're so obsessed buddy, I'm so loving this." He said between laughter.

"Don't start with me Aaron or am gonna show the sex clip you and Kara had in the office to mum. You know she's dying to meet Kara like you promised to bring her over but showing her how your girlfriend looks on the video won't be a problem." I stated smirking to frighten him.

"You didn't see it happened so you can't scare me." He replied grinning.

"Very well then, how about I show it to you right now." I added sounding serious to make him shock.

The dude is so scared how mum is gonna scold him and make him bring Kara over by all means which he doesn't wanna do until he propose to her.

"You gotta be kidding me buddy, don't do any of that. I give up, I won't taunt you again bro just don't do that to me." He rushed his words pleading.

"This isn't the Aaron I know, you don't give up easily," I uttered mocking him.

"Dude, I do now. Just don't give me out to mum."

"Promise you won't give me unnecessary headaches about Chloe or else you know the implications," I explained.

"Sure I won't," He replied sharply.

He really did fall for it, if I didn't do it that way he would still have to keep taunting me unknown to him I don't have any video. I just needed him off my neck and I just did.

"Brian, you're good at it." I praised myself and added, "no more taunts from Aaron again. I'm free once again."
