Chapter 92: Chapter 92
Themis' POV
I sat down on a bench while trying to catch my breath. I've been trying to find Winter since last night, but I still couldn't find her. Whoever abducted her must be a rich man and took her somewhere we can't easily find her.
Who abducted her? And what is the reason behind it?
"Damn it," I mumbled as I ran my fingers through my messy hair.
Suddenly, my phone rang. I immediately took it out of my pocket and answered the call without looking at the name of the caller.
"Hello?"
"Matthew."
"M-Mr. Wesley?"
I haven't told him about Winter's disappearance yet, since I don't want to stress him even more.
"Someone called me a while ago, telling me to quit being the president of Royal group companies. They said they would kill Winter if I didn't agree with it."
"I apologize for not informing you about it, Mr. Wesley. My men and I are trying our best to find her now. Also, can you forward the caller id of the one who called you a while ago? We might be able to track their place."
"It's alright. I know you have a reason to do that. Alright, I'll forward his caller ID now. Please, Matthew. Do everything to find my granddaughter. If the only choice we have is for me to go down and quit being the President of Royal Group, then I'll do it."
"We will do our best, Mr. Wesley. We will be able to find Winter."
"Thank you."
After that call, I immediately asked my men to track down the caller ID and within five minutes, they gave me an address where Winter could probably be.
I will find you, Winter. Just wait for me, please...

An abandoned house was what I found when I reached the address my men sent me. I took a deep breath as I started walking slowly towards it. It only has a two-story and is small. I don't think Winter can even escape from here if she ever tries to since it was a secluded place.
I was about to enter the house when two men wearing masks suddenly attacked me. Good thing I was able to defend myself by giving them blows on their face, which surprisingly caused them to be unconscious.
I immediately hid in a corner when I entered the house. Another three men came out, but I was able to fight all of them just like what I did to those men outside. When I finally made sure that there was nothing left and Winter wasn't anywhere, I immediately proceeded upstairs where I could hear a voice from inside a room.
"No one's going to save you, Miss."
"And no one will ever help you escape from here."
Winter is inside.
As I saw a small window near the door of the room, I tiptoed as I moved near the window and peeked inside the room. I immediately saw Winter who was sitting on a chair while looking at the five men who seem to be drinking together.
I felt my heart beating so fast as I saw her tired face. It was so obvious that she herself didn't get to sleep last night.
With one kick, the door of that room went open and the five bulky men, including Winter, got surprised upon seeing me.
"M-Matthew!"
I immediately walked near Winter and started untying the rope in her hands.
"How did you know I was here?" she asked me.
"It's a long story. Let me just---
I kicked the man in the face when he tried to attack me while I was untying the hands of Winter. When I was finally done untying the rope, I hid Winter behind me and faced the five men.
"And who do you think are you, huh?!"
"I'm her husband. Any problem with that?"
As soon as I said that, they came running to me.
"Winter, move away!"
"B-But Matthew!"
"Move away!"
She had no choice but to obey me. One man tried to get a hold of my arms, but then I was too quick to elbow his face and kick the other one in the stomach. Before I could even find Winter again, another one attacked me, but I gave him an uppercut that made him fly across the room.
"Matthew! Behind you!" Winter suddenly yelled and that's when I realized there was someone behind me. Good thing I was still able to kick him and threw the chair at him.
When I saw another one running toward Winter while holding a chair, I grabbed Winter by the wrist and pulled her close to me to cover her from the attack.
"Matthew!"
"I'm alright..." I whispered as I held the chair and pushed the man away from us.
Because I didn't notice another one coming from our side, he was able to punch me in the face. Before he could punch me again, I was able to hold his fist and punched his stomach instead. After seeing that all of them were already unconscious, I glanced at Winter and held her by the wrist.
"Let's get out of here!"
"O-Okay... Matthew, your arm is bleeding..."
"I'm fine. Don't worry about me."
Just as we thought we were finally safe, another ten bulky men blocked our way out.
"Do you think you can escape from us so easily?"
"Winter, stay behind me."
"Matthew..."
I wiped the blood on the side of my lips before facing them. "You want to fight with me? Then bring it on."
