Erik's POV

I used my power to strengthen the warriors so we could run faster than our usual speed. On our way to the territory, we saw countless dead bodies of the rogues. Judging by the coldness of the bodies, it was about two to three hours that they were dead. If Clara has been fighting for hours, she will not last long. Clara's power is tremendous. Even if we completed the mating process so that our power became one, she still couldn't control some of the powers she got as the vessel of the moon goddess. Also, she grew weak because of her pregnancy and abduction. I also noticed that she got stronger when she returned, but her body was weak and not fully recovered.

"We will fasten up the pace," I said to Vincent, and he nodded.

When we arrived at the Wild Peak pack's territory, the battle had already started, and we heard Clara's howl. At that instant, we all knew we couldn't wait any longer. My warriors rushed inside the territory without giving orders and killed all the werewolves. They all felt the need to protect their Queen. I also followed from behind and observed the battle. I noticed that Alpha Roy and Klaus were missing at the scene, so I rushed deeper into the territory without waiting for my warriors. There I saw Clara fighting with countless rogues and pack members of the Wild Peak pack. She furiously killed them one on one, and they circled Clara leaving her without a path to escape.

I joined the battle when I got near and killed everyone in sight. I made sure to leave a path for us to escape the encirclement, but because my warriors were angry as I was, I didn't need to think about the escape route since my warriors caught up with me. I killed them one by one quickly until I reached Clara. She didn't talk and ignored me. She looked around and suddenly growled. I looked where she was directing her growl and saw Alpha Roy and Klaus standing happily, watching the battle.

They both left, and Clara rushed towards them. I followed from behind and made sure no one could approach us. Clara knew I was behind her, so she focused on running after the enemies, and I focused on killing the weaklings that attacked us. In a few minutes, Vincent caught up with me.

"What about the others?" I asked through the mind link. He should have stayed with the warriors since no one would lead them.

"Don't worry, Alpha Kyle and Luna Rica lead the warriors. Besides, my mate is also there. She also said something bothersome, but you'll understand," Vincent said while killing all the attackers in sight.

"What did she say?" I asked.

"I don't need to bother myself with that witch," he said.

"It seems Merlin got weak," I replied.

We focused on running after the enemies, and when we got to the middle of the forest, they were waiting for us with confident smiles. Speaking of Merlin, she revealed herself at the back of the two while holding something. We heard some cries, and that cry made us stop running.

"Our child!" Liam shouted.

Clara's aura was released in an instant and launched at the two. The two were about to attack Clara, but I blocked Alpha Roy while Vincent blocked Klaus. That leaves Clara to follow Merlin, who is laughing while running away.

Third Person's POV

The battle continued, and the warriors who traveled for miles suddenly felt their fatigue, but they didn't let their fatigue stop them from killing the enemies. They were all enraged, especially the Silver Growler's pack. They heard about their Queen, who had been missing for months, and were relieved but at the same time, thinking that the enemies made their Queen suffer made their blood boil and make them hungry for the blood of the enemies. Even though their tired bodies are becoming weaker any second, they still show the enemies how frightening they are. How terrifying the royal knights could get when they touched their leaders.

But the enemies were so confident that they didn't stop attacking even though they were instantly killed. They knew and believed they would win in the end, so they were not scared to embrace death.

In the battle within the forest, Clara is currently running after Merlin, who was holding their child, while Alpha Roy and Erik are facing off. "Well, I didn't think you would attack me like this, your majesty. I am hurt," Alpha Roy said while smirking.

Erik, who is in his wolf form, can do was growl back at him and repeatedly thought that he will kill this traitor. "I'll kill you, Alpha Roy!" With continuous growling and thinking that he would kill Alpha Roy, he managed to talk even in his wolf form. He was surprised for a second, but his wolf reassured him.

"It's one of our powers, don't be surprised and focus on the enemy," Liam said to Erik.

Erik returned his focus to Alpha Roy, who was looking at him with surprised looks. "What's wrong old man? Scared because of something little as this?" Erik taunted Alpha Roy.

Alpha Roy laughed, and Erik cringed at his evil laugh. "This man has long been corrupted," He thought. "Why would I? Not because you became the King doesn't mean you are stronger than me," Alpha Roy said.

Erik also laughed. "Is that so? But Alpha Roy, I managed to be a King though," Erik said, and Alpha Roy gritted his teeth with anger.

"You insolent!" Alpha Roy shouted and lifted some big rocks to throw at Erik. Erik easily dodged the stone, but he became confused.

"So it's true, there are werewolves that can use magic. It must be black magic, and there is no way that the werewolves can use this kind of magic. Werewolves' powers mostly come from physical strength, agility, and aura. This must also be why I couldn't even realize that he was corrupted," He thought, but Erik was not wrong. Werewolves can use black magic when they've been through hell that no one can imagine or if they do something worse than rogues, like using your kind's lives to perform various experiments. Erik knew this since he had read the books in his father's study since he was young.

"So, this is why you couldn't achieve your long-term goal," Erik said to Alpha Roy while evading the rocks that Alpha Roy kept on throwing at him using black magic. Alpha Roy, who was smirking and confidently waving his hands to control the rocks, grew furious at his words of Erik.

"It seems that no one taught you manners," Alpha Roy said and snarled at Erik.

"Can you defeat me, Alpha Roy? Me? The King of werewolves?" Erik said while moving sideways. Both of them are waiting for one another to attack first.

Alpha Roy smiled and flicked his fingers. At the sound of his fingers flicking, the ground where Erik was currently standing turned into a mud-like form. Erik was startled, but he avoided catching up in the mud-like ground. He leaped backward, and then he released all of his aura. Alpha Roy felt some pressure and gulped while smiling nervously.

At the release of Erik's aura, his speed was even faster than before. Erik was running towards Alpha Roy to close the gap between them. While trying to get closer to Alpha Roy at a tremendous speed, Alpha Roy continuously turned the ground close to Erik into a mud-like form while attacking him with rocks. Erik is having difficulty getting close to Alpha Roy, but he knows that because of his sudden speed, Alpha Roy feels nervous. Erik cannot get close to Alpha Roy while. The Alpha couldn't follow Erik's speed with his eyes. Alpha Roy felt impatient as time passed that he couldn't even land an attack on Erik.

Alpha Roy growled because of frustration and mumbled something under his breath. Erik noticed that the attack of Alpha Roy decreased and observed Alpha Roy. He noticed that Alpha Roy was mumbling something, so he prepared himself for the worst-case scenario. Erik used his power authority similar to Clara and directed it to Alpha Roy. Roy, busy mumbling something, didn't feel Erik's power and suddenly coughed up blood.

"Ho, at least you know how to attack," Alpha Roy said while wiping the blood from his mouth. Roy raised his arm, pointing at the sky. The sky went dark, and Erik's eyes grew big when he saw a vast dark fire above Alpha Roy's head that shaped into a ball. Erik gritted his teeth, trying to protect himself from the heat currently burning his skin.

Alpha Roy's hand that was pointing into the air was burned but still in the air. He couldn't feel pain in his arm since it was burnt from his spell. Erik stood quietly in front of Alpha Roy. He was thinking about how to evade or counter that kind of spell. He thought about Clara's authority, which was an invisible physical wall. He can use it as a shield since his authority attacks from within the body. Most of his powers were for attacking, and most of Clara's were for defending.

Erik couldn't ask Clara for help when she was running after their child. "Liam, can we use the authority of Clara?" Erik asked his wolf. Erik thinks he can use Clara's power since they share it, and their soul is almost one after completing the mating process. "I don't know, but at least we can try," Liam replied to Erik, and Erik closed his eyes, imagining the authority of Clara. He imagined it over and over again.

"What are you doing taking your eyes off in the middle of a fight!" Alpha Roy shouted and pointed his arm raised into the air to Erik. The enormous dark fireball was falling on Erik.

"It's getting near!" Liam warned Erik.

"A little bit more," Erik said while breathing in and out. When he felt that the fireball was already above him, he opened his eyes and directed the authority he had copied from Clara. The dark fireball clashed with the invisible wall. Gritting his teeth, Erik tried his best to counter the fireball using his invisible wall. At the same time, Alpha Roy attempted to push the fireball down to Erik and crush him. Erik growled loudly and managed to bounce off the fireball behind him. When the vast dark fireball touched the ground, there was a big explosion causing some of the forest to be gone.

Alpha Roy didn't have enough time to defend himself from the explosion, and he was sent flying with Erik. Erik, who has the body of the King, stood immediately when the blast happened, and Alpha Roy, on the other hand, who has an old body and was in his human form, struggled to stand up. When he managed to stand up and saw Erik's body start to heal, he laughed. His devilish laugh confused Erik, who looked at Alpha Roy like he was a crazy man.

Alpha Roy caught his breath, and his face became serious. "Are you the King or just some sort of monster?" Alpha Roy, who attempted to transfer his soul and be reborn in a new body, became jealous seeing Erik's healing powers.

"My dear old uncle, I am not a mirror," Erik said while licking some of his wounds to heal them faster. "That kind of attitude is one of the reasons I killed your father," Alpha Roy used in a disgusted voice. Hearing Alpha Roy confirms for himself that he is the one who killed Erik's father made him so furious that he attacked him recklessly.

Erik swung his paw, but Alpha Roy quickly ducked to avoid the attack Erik causing the tree behind Alpha Roy to be cut down in half. Alpha Roy quickly vanished in front of Erik and revealed himself at the back of Erik. He attacked from behind, and Erik got hit in the back with the claws of Alpha Roy. Erik, who is moving away from Alpha Roy, realizes that his back is not healing.

"That nuisance power" Erik cursed the black magic in his mind.
