Chapter 29: Chapter 29

Erik's POV

I couldn't believe it when I felt that some of her fingers had moved. When I looked at her, she looked back at me, and her eyes were much more evident than before, so I could see her golden eyes.

"I miss that golden eyes of yours."

I remembered what Klaus said. Now that I think about it, I haven't seen her golden eyes except when she shifts. Her eyes are not gold when she is in her wolf form. It was more like yellow mixed with brown.

She noticed I was a bit confused, so she smiled, "Hi," she said.

As I heard her voice, I woke up. She is here, alive, safe, and awake. I cried, knowing that she was here. Every time I looked at her, her eyes captivated me.

I left her at my mother's and headed toward the altar. I followed the carpet on the floor until I reached the altar. I smiled and waved at everyone who was present and focused on the people marching to the altar.

Vincent and Tia walked, holding each other's hands. They let go of each other and stopped in the middle, and they stood at the sides, then she appeared.

Clara walked elegantly and smiled brightly at everyone. I had never seen her smile like that before. I bit my lip, trying to stop my tears.

She is gorgeous, and I am lucky that she will be married to me. She walked slowly, her gown glowing in the moonlight. When she reached the middle, she linked arms with Vincent and Tia. They walked towards the altar slowly. As they walked, Clara looked at me, and her golden eyes showed. It's beautiful. I thought.

Vincent played the role of the father, and he handed me Clara's hand. I hugged Vincent. Clara hugged Vincent one last time before we walked towards the stairs up to the altar. Alpha Ross, who always leads some weddings, offered to be our priest for our wedding, and I accepted.

Ross looked at the both of us, checking if we were comfortable in our spots. He cleared his throat and started talking.

"Today is a day to celebrate. We are celebrating the love, commitment, and friendship of two people who love each other and wish to spend the rest of their lives together."

The guests and pack members focused on Alpha Ross and kept smiling at us. Clara and I both smiled back, thankful that they were all happy for the both of us.

"Every one of us has a deep desire to love and to be loved. Your marriage today is a public and legal affirmation of the bonding that you had already begun. Marriage is a commitment to live that will allow you to share your lives," He added.

"Our King and Queen, are you ready?" Alpha Ross said. We both said yes and laughed at him for asking the obvious.

Alpha Ross faced me, looking me straight into my eyes. "Erik Smith, do you take this woman to be your wife, live together, love her, honor her, comfort her, and keep her in sickness and health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?" He asked.

"I do, of course," I said, full of confidence. I heard Vincent scoff at the side, and some of the audience laughed at him. I just shrugged my shoulders and rolled my eyes at him.

Alpha Ross then faced Clara and flashed his sweetest smile to her. "Clara Lee, do you take this man to be your husband, live together, love him, honor him, comfort him, and keep him in sickness and health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?" He asked her.

Clara looked at me, and her golden eyes were out again. She smiled, showing her beautiful set of teeth. I smiled back at her, offered her hand, and gladly took it. She then faced Alpha Ross, "I do," She said.

Alpha Ross nodded and looked at the paper that was in his hands. "Repeat after me," He instructed, looking at me.

"I, your name, take you, her name, to be my wife."

"I, Erik Smith, take you, Clara Lee, to be my wife," I said, following his example.

"To have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer in sickness and health," He continued, looking and waiting for me to repeat after him.

"To have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer in sickness and health," I repeated, looking at Clara.

"To love and to cherish, till death do us part."

"To love and to cherish till death do us part," I said, lifting and kissing her hands.

Alpha Ross turned to Clara and asked her the same. "I, your name, take you, his name, to be my husband."

"I, Clara Lee, take you, Erik Smith, to be my husband," She said while wiggling her eyebrows at me. I smiled and kissed her hands again.

"To have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer in sickness and health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part." He said, repeating the same process

"To have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer in sickness and health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part," Clara exclaimed.

The crowd shouted, and I laughed at them. Alpha Ross signaled someone to bring the rings and instructed me to insert the call to Clara's finger while voicing my vow.

I lifted her hand and inserted the ring into her ring finger. "I give you this ring as a token and pledge of our constant faith and abiding love."

Clara did the same. She lifted my hand and inserted the ring into my ring finger. She also said, "I give you this ring as a token and pledge of our constant faith and abiding love," kissing the ring on my finger. I laughed at what she did.

Alpha Ross also laughed and raised both hands, pointing at both of us using his hands. "You may kiss the bride!" He shouted. The crowd went crazy, screaming, howling and clapping. I looked at Clara, wiggling my eyebrows at her, and offered my hand to her. She immediately took my hand, giggling, I tugged her arm, and when she got closer, I grabbed her waist and kissed her passionately.

Clara's POV

Erik kisses me passionately. He licked my lip, asking me to enter. I opened my mouth, and he quickly deepened the kiss. I could tell in his kiss that he missed me so much. I raised my arms and locked them on his neck. I kissed him back passionately, letting him know I was here and missed him too.

He broke the kiss, rested his forehead on mine, and we were catching our breath. "I love you," He whispered. "I love you too, so much," I said. I let my tears fall, and I cried while laughing. I was so happy that I hoped this wouldn't end. We both faced the audience cheering for us, and I saw Vincent crying, and Tia was trying her best to calm him.

"What a sissy!" Angeline said, rolling her eyes at our brother.

We walked towards the crowd holding each other's hands. "I'm going to be an uncle!" Vincent exclaimed. I frowned at Vincent and rolled my eyes at him. "What? It's not effective?" He said. He was trying to make it a joke, hoping we would have a child immediately.

"You're the beta. You should know better," I scoffed at my brother.

"Oh my, I'm sorry about that, Luna," He said, emphasizing the word Luna. Tia punched him jokingly at his shoulder, and I laughed at him.

"Congratulations!" Tia exclaimed, hugging me tightly. Vincent then grabbed my hand behind Tia and held it tightly. Smiling at me sadly, like he had lost something important to him. I squeezed his hand and cried. I wiped my tears as I broke the hug from Tia to hug my brother.

"You've been through a lot. I am very happy for you," He said, hugging me and kissing me on my head. He broke the hug, looked straight into my eyes, and smiled. "It's been a while since I saw those pretty golden eyes of yours," He said, trying his best to stop his tears from falling. I got confused, and my golden eyes were always there. I gave him a confused look. "Your eyes changed. It was not as bright as that, and it was not gold. I noticed it when we left your former pack, and your bright golden eyes were turning into dark yellow mixed with brown. I should have known from then," He explained, and I gasped. Vincent cried, grabbed my shoulder, and gripped it tightly.

"I'm sorry," He apologized. I cried again and hugged him back. "It was no one's fault, Vincent. I'm here now. Everything is alright," I whispered behind his back. He touched my head and kissed my forehead.

"You go back to your mate now," He said, breaking the hug and letting my hand go. I looked at him one last time and smiled at him.

As I walked to my mate, some slow music was being played. I raised my hand, offering it to Erik. He gladly took it and kissed my hand before we started dancing. "You look beautiful," He whispered while leading me in our dance.

"You look handsome yourself," I said, touching his cheek. He closed his eyes and leaned in at my touch. I smiled at his action and kissed him.

His eyes grew big, surprised at my attack. I giggled, seeing his reaction. He suddenly grabbed my waist closer to him, and I shrieked. I raised my brow at him when our faces were inches away from each other. He rested his forehead on mine, and we danced quietly, feeling each other's touch.

We were all celebrating and happily eating when the moon shined brightly. Tia flicked her fingers, and her broom appeared. She rode it and flew to the moon, getting a closer look. She then flew quickly back to us. As she went down on her broom, she flicked her fingers again, and our outfits changed. It was like what we wore when we greeted our guests, but it looked more noble and expensive.

Everyone gasped at our looks and was amazed at Tia using her spells. "It's time for the coronation," Tia exclaimed. Erik and I looked at each other, smiled, and walked towards the altar, releasing our aura.

Don't worry, and I am here now. You can release all of it. Angeline said, assuring me that I could take it. Our aura is not on the same wavelength because I couldn't remove all of my aura. The last time we tried, I collapsed, so Erik told Tia that she would not force me to release all of it.

Since my wolf recovered, I released all of my aura, which has the same wavelength as Erik's aura. Our aura was trying to mix, pushing each other in the air.

The moon grew more brightly, and the werewolves were now on the verge of shifting. We are now at the altar, and the guests and our pack members shifted. They all started to howl, the moonlight shining on us both, and in the moonlight, something was chirping. Small things were flying towards us from the light.

"Fairies!!!" I exclaimed to Tia.

Tia's eyes grew big, telling me to behave. I cleared my throat and focused on what was happening. The little things were flying in front of our faces, "We have a gift," They said, simultaneously with a high-pitched voice.

They flew above our heads as fast as possible so that you couldn't see their figure anymore. They were flying in circles in our heads until I felt something fall on my head. I raised my hands and touched the thing on my head, surprised. It was a crown. I looked at Erik, and he was surprised as I was, and I saw his majestic crown full of jewelry.

"Wow, it looks good on you," I said to Erik, amazed at the design of his crown. "You look elegant and majestic in yours," He replied, returning my compliment. I blushed at his words and looked at the fairies who were giggling in front of our faces.

"Thank you," I said to them. They giggled again, flew around, and kissed my cheek before returning to the moonlight and vanished.
