Chapter 65: Chapter 65

It has been a week since Yazahib suffered the accident, Daniel and Simone have not separated from him. They were forced to bury Derek without Yazahib's presence, he hasn't come out of his coma and they couldn't wait any longer.

For the first time Daniel met Yazahib's family, which she did not know existed. Caroline, taking advantage of the fact that she knows them, does not depart from Yazahib thus separating Daniel.

"Come on Teddy, you must eat something." Simone sat next to her and handed her the plate of food that Patricia had prepared for her.

"Go Simone" Caroline looked at him smiling, "How are you able to just bring food for her?" She asked, leaving him badly before the Yazahib siblings.

"Well, just as you have enough poison to kill a black mamba, you should make helpful sense. Although everyone treats Daniel as if she is nothing, she cares about you and sends for food for everyone, but what about you, who seems to be the queen among them, what do you do to serve them?” Simone looked at them angrily, “my teddy can be very good, but I know the type of people you are and now it does not surprise me why Yazahib pushed them away from his side.”

"Darling, please," Daniel whispered, she has been so bad that she lacks the strength. Yazahib's family does not tolerate her and they make her feel bad.

"It's just not fair" Simone stood up to the stunned looks "you have all treated us like trash and I must clarify that here Yazahib loves my teddy not the poisonous fox who has been behaving as if she had the right here." Caroline frowned her eyebrow in embarrassment, “we may be poor, but we have dignity and it is worth a lot more than your money, so if you don't want to see us in this room you can leave because I'm sure Yazahib would prefer us a thousand times over you,” He looked at each one of them. "We have been here since day one, you have come here just two days ago, you cannot pretend that you have more rights."

"But we are his family," Yazahib's sister defended herself.

“Family that treats badly the woman he loves, family that since they arrived are more concerned with gossiping with that woman than worrying about the state of Yazahib. Family that has taken the slippery woman at her word and without reason have decided that Daniel is not worthy for him when she is the only one who really suffers.”

"Sure" Caroline laughed, "she suffers because if something happens to Yazahib she will stay in the street."

Simone felt so angry that he forgot how refined he is, “listen to me, you damn bitch, that woman you see there rough is the same one who has paid for her studies alone, she has bought everything she needs with the sweat from her forehead even being with Yazahib. The one you see there pale and with Yazahib's baby in her womb, is what she is because of her effort. Not like you who are only important for being in Yazahib's company. You are there because that woman you call interested has told Yazahib that he does not fire you, that is why you are important, because the woman that you see as if she were nothing has prevented your damn misfortune.”

"Simone, please stop," Daniel asked feeling bad, "God," she whispered before dropping her plate in fainting spells.

Simone turned and took her in his arms. Those present were concerned, that man has told them the truth about them to their faces and he is right in everything he has said.

Carolina when she saw them running to call a doctor and treat Daniel, felt more hatred than she already felt. How is it that after laughing at her they are now worried about what happens to her?

"She's awake," Yazahib's younger brother said. "Fuck, what a scare," he whispered looking at his sister. "I've tried not to get in and stay away, but you two are poisonous bitches." He looked at Simone, "I'll take her to the doctor." Taking Daniel in his arms the doctor entered with Yazahib's older sister.

"Here's the doctor, she's my sister-in-law," said the woman, leaving Caroline with a bad taste in her mouth, what's wrong? She wondered about the sudden change of mind. She refused to accept her as her sister-in-law and now she is there, calling her sister-in-law.

"Okay, we have to take her to a room."

Daniel refused, "I won't leave him alone, I won't go," she said in a whisper.

"Well, I'll find a bed to make you more comfortable."

"I'll go get one." Gregory, the younger brother volunteered and left the room.

"Caroline, go get some water," Maggie, the older sister ordered, when she saw that she didn't move she frowned. "I told you to go get water." Caroline, containing all her anger, left the room to look for water.

"My God, I looked everywhere, where is she?" He entered the room and when he looked at her, he heaved a sigh and ran to her. Daniel when she saw him shed tears and clung to Frank, she has missed him a lot and needed him all the time. She just wanted to have him there so that the cruel words of Caroline and Yazahib's sister didn't hurt so much, “I'm here darling, I'm here,” he looked at those present and was amazed, he hadn't seen them in years.

"Frank, that's nice." Maggie smiled impressed by the affection he had with that girl. Marina and Carolina exchanged glances when the latter entered the room and both felt hatred, but more Carolina who was ashamed before everyone.

"Here's the water," Caroline looked at Frank, "I thought you weren't coming soon, according to what Marina told me when she called you needing you, you weren't available," she said venomously, earning everyone's eyes.

"And that's the way it is, but I couldn't be absent. Yazahib is in a bed in a coma and Daniel may be in danger,” Marina felt a lot of jealousy and pain. Why does Caroline always remind her how much her father loves Daniel?

"Ah, all right. I thought that Daniel mattered more to you than your own daughter.”

Daniel, hearing it from her, turned away from her and Frank felt the desire to shout that she is his daughter, but he restrained himself.

“She is important to me, I love my daughter and she knows it, why should you question the love I have for her?”

"Here's the stretcher," Gregory interrupted before Caroline could release any more of her venom "come on, give me space to lift her onto the stretcher" they all stepped away from her and Gregory took her into his arms. Daniel clung to him, he is so much like Yazahib that it is as if she was looking into his eyes.

"You look like him," she whispered, looking at him with tears in her eyes, but a stabbing pain in the lower part of her belly made her cry out and close her eyes.

"What's wrong with her?" Simone yelled, standing next to her. "Teddy, what's wrong?"

The doctor pushed them all away, “it was a contraction." She looked at Daniel when she finally relaxed and opened her eyes. "I can't attend to you here, we must stop the contractions or you can have a premature labor." Everyone in the room looked worried except Caroline who wished that it would happen.

"Daniel," Maggie looked at her, "please go to the doctor, we'll be with Yazahib. You know he wouldn't allow you to stay by his side if it meant you hurt yourself.” Daniel looked at them all and finally nodded.

"Good" the doctor raised the safety supports of the gurney and began to push the gurney to take it to the maternity floor, she must act as soon as possible.

"Can you prevent my baby from being born? She is not due yet, it is still too early and she would not survive,” the doctor made no gesture, but she is worried, and that worry grew when Daniel simply fainted.

"Make way, make way," she yelled running to enter the room and treat Daniel, "possible fainting from stress and poor diet, she has contractions, possibly every ten minutes but they have been noticed so far. Put a milligram of progestogen intravenously via infusion, constant drip, come on,” she yelled, putting oxygen on it.

"She's having another contraction," the nurse touched her hard belly, "and she's being very prolonged."

"Tilt the stretcher, that baby must stay inside. She already suffers for her husband, let’s hope that she does not also suffer for her baby. Let's get to work!” She ordered and everyone ran to attend to her. Once the stretcher was tipped over and Daniel was left with her feet up, they also left her connected to oxygen.
