**BEAUTY'S POV**

I was on bed ,going through my folders getting ready for another job hunting,I won't say it was easy ignoring all of Bruno's calls,I just choose to because I knew it won't help any of us anyway,and also it bothers me that Jessi seem to be hiding something from me, she looked depressed these days and hardly come over to my olace,i have no idea what is happening to her and I wish she could open up to me.

A knock came in,and my door opened slowly,it was mother.

"Good morning mom"i greeted feebly.

"Beauty..baby... how are you doing today dear?"Mother asked softly,she walked in to my room and pecked me.

I sighed and smiled back at her.

"Am good mom, thanks for always been there for me"i replied

She smiled back and sat down on bed.

"Am your mother, that is all am about,give my baby girl the best life,best advices and best support "she said with a cheering tone, shaking my shoulders.

I chuckled weakly.

"Mom stop am feeling dizzy already!"

She giggled and let me go finally.

"So how is Jessi your friend, is she recovering well?"Mother asked ,helping me arrange the papers.

"I think so,I wonder why she don't want to talk about it,I will go visit her again today"i replied.

"Your certificates?"

I showed her the folder for that ,she picked up the blue paper folder and carefully and neatly put it in,I have never done it that fast and smooth without rumbling

"Have you talk with ..

"Bruno?"I snapped nervously

"No...I wanted to say Jessi".

"Oh ..sorry..I thought, never mind"

Embarrassed I chuckled,putting the strands of my hair back to the back of my ear,my face went blank.

Mother took my hand ,I looked up and caught her staring right into my eyes,I looked away feeling my eyes wet.

"Its never easy to let go of something you live that much,isn't it"

I slowly pull my hand from her

"Am fine mother,it's just stupid tears,am completely fine"i cried out,brushing off my the tears with the back of my palm.

"If it hurts this much,you don't have to deny it,Bruno is someone you love dearly and believe me honey ,everything will be fine,give it time okay"she said.

"Mom am fine okay,don't worry about me"I snapped and giggled.

She sighed heavily.

"If you say so"

My door opened Father stood by the door and stare at us for a while,after noticing my wet face.

"Are you alright baby?"

"Am great Dad"i replied not looking up to him.

He walked in the room and stood infront of me,his hands akimbo.

"You don't look great baby,is it because of that boy?"he replied.

I said nothing.

"Honey I don't think we should continue talking about it ,if she dont want us to"Mother cuts in.

"Well that bruno boy came looking for you,I told him to leave,he kept begging to see you,what do you say?"

Mom sighed and glanced from him then to me.

I avoided eye contact, feeling my eyes wet again.

"I don't want to talk to him Dad,he should leave".

I replied with arched brows,my nose widened in anger.

"Hear him out first,my love,it will help you heal and feel better".

Mother suggested.

"I can't,not now I don't want to see him,I am fine why don't you all get it"i snapped.

"You have to hear him out first ,honey then after that you have to decide what you want, omay"

Father said calmly.

I nodded and cleaned my face dry before going outside to meet him,my parents followed behind like my personal bodyguards.

As soon i saw him,my heart melted,i couldn't hold it or pretend anymore I missed him,I missed him so much.

He was pacing up and down restlessly.

"Bruno..?"I called trying to control the sadness in my tone,he turned and found me,his face brightened with relief,quickly he ran to me and hugged me tightly.

"Am glad you're okay"he whispered.

I smiled and wrapped my arm around him too,as we went on with the hug.

"Thought you didn't want me anymore"he said with a relief gasps

"That's not true,I will never"i replied.

"I miss you so much"he stated as we let go from the tight hug,he lifted my chin up a bit and kissed me passionately ,I responded smoothly.

My parents seeing everything went well, with smiles on their faces,they went back inside the house.

"Am sorry for keeping you waiting for so long"

"All I wanted to do was help ,to bear your burden with you,I felt do sad that you never understood my feelings..I.

"I do understand you baby,I just don't want you to worry so much"he replied softly.

I sighed, since he is here now ,I hope everything is fine.

"It's alright,how are things going at the company?"

'I did it baby,it's over ,I promise you nothing will ever come inbetween us ever again,we won'thave any challenges anymore,well I guess the next challenge should be our wedding,what do you think?"

I chuckled.

"Promise?nothing will ever come between us ever again "

I pulled put my pinky finger.

He chuckled and shook his head then he accepted with his pinky.

"I promised"he replied and pecked my check.

I blushed uncontrollably, it's good to have Bruno back.

"I missed you Soo much,but I..I guess you didn't miss me as much"i sulked.

"You know I did miss you,like I said baby,I was only scared of getting you involve in my problems"he replied ,patting my hair,it was really easy for him,since he is very much taller than him,sometimes I felt to so same but I had to jump to do that.

"But your problem is same as mine,am wearing your ring Bruno, promise me,promise me you will never shut me out when you are having such crisis again"i sulked again and pouted.

"I promise"he whispered into my ear with a finality in his voice.

"You are making that cute face again,and you know what that does to me"he replied with licked his lower lip.

I smiled back

"No sir I don't "I replied and we kissed ,and chuckled happily.

I think it's the time I let him know about his father's evil request from me

"I have something important to tell you baby"

I said as we walked hand in hand towards our house.

"What am I going to be a father soon?'

He bent his head to my height and raised his eyebrows,his happy puppy eyes ,sparking and staring into mine.

I blushed and hit him on the chest playfully.

"Stop it "I snapped, he laughed out.

That reminds me my period is a bit late,or so,I thought to myself.

"Come on inside"I laughed out and pulled him along.

We walked into the sitting room

There he met with my parents again,this time they welcomed him happily with hands spread wide.

"You made our baby girl worry,she wanted to cry herself to death".Father stated.

"Dad,that's not true,I told then I was fine".I replied embarrassed.

Bruno smiled back at me.

"Well I guess ,you two should work everything out,honey let's give them some time to themselves "Mother said and grabbed father's hand,going into their room.

We both laughed out.

"I missed your parents alot,they really nice and funny"Bruno stated.

I nodded

"so!"

I jumped on him like an excited child,it starled him,his eyes raised in suprised staring at me .

I decided to copy his facial expression, he laughed shyly at it.

"What am I going to get for you?"i asked.

"Anything"he said with a little shrug.

I smiled back.

"Alright then".

I wanted to get to the kitchen and prepare him something then he pulled me back and kissed me.

"Haven't you had enough"i giggled struggling to escaped from him.

"Your parents were present..so

I felt his hand on my backside

I gasped

"Now don't you dare".

"Sorry Boss"he said and let go of me.

"Good boy"i said and pull my gown down about to go again

But he grabbed on my waist and dropped me gently on the couch.

I giggled.

"What are you doing?"

He kissed me and went to lift my gown.

"Oh are you going down there"i said excitedly.

Just then I heard footsteps.

"Bruno!"I snapped in a whisper and kissed me.

Daddy walked in and found me sitting like his little virgin daughter,i smiled awkwardly.

"Where is Bruno?"

He asked

Bruno got up from where he was lying.

"Here is am".

He waved pinching his nose

"Your nose is bleeding?"Father asked dimming his eyes to be sute,when I heard that I looked back at him in shock,I did that to him ?,poor Bruno,why is his skin so fragile.

"Let me get you something for it"Father suggested.

Bruno thanked him

"Thanks Dad"i mumbled.

As soon as he left the room,I quickly rushed to Bruno

"Am so sorry baby,aww!!,this is so bad"

I sobbed examining his nose.

"I warned you to get up,but you...won't listen"I pouted angrily.

He kissed my lips and smiled back.

"Stop you ate in pains ,everything is not a joke"

"It's just a nose bleed,an a guy am not that fragile"he replied with air of pride.

"Bruno come over here"Father called from inside the room.

I waited impatiently just then I heard him screaming in pain.

My mother was laughing.

"What was that,it hurts ,it really hurts,the lotion is increasing the pain!"Brubo cried out.

"You know what ?Beauty can actually hear you from the living room"Mother informed him.

"What the.....hey baby !!"he called out

"Yes sugar king!"I answered.

"I am just excited babe,not crying! am tough!"

He yelled out.

I laughed and shook my head.

"Ofcourse you are ,Mr tough guy"i giggled.

I decided to use the opportunity and prepare him something,few minutes later,I prepared a meal for him and served it on the dining.

He returned with a cotton stuff in his nose.

I laughed and shook my head,he was pouting like a kid his parents room to the dentist aganist his will.

"Come over here,come to mummy"i said with my hands spread out,he sluggishly walked to me ,since he was way taller, he knelt down and hugged me,I pecked his forehead and hold his head close to my bossom.

"It is fine,don't worry,the pain will go away soon"

I whispered.

He nodded and got up to his feet.

He got to a chair and sat down.

"So we have,soy sauce and puddings, with chicken dumplings ,Tada!!!"

I said removing the plate lid.

"This is fantastic ,so is it the surprise you talked about earlier?"

He asked excitedly.

I shook my head sadly,my mood switched after he reminded of ot,I dont want to spoil our good moment with such news to him,maybe I should just tell him,I have to look for a job elsewhere with reason to avoid being a distraction to him,no I should tell him,keeping such from him is very much bad,I thought.

"Are you okay baby?"

He must have noticed, I looked at him then sighed.

"It's about your father"I said slowly.

He was a not suprised.

"My....

His phone ranged and he ignored it.

"My father?..."he combined.

"Baby pick up,will talk about it later okay"i said calmly.

He hesisted then answered.

"Alright will be there".

"Baby is everything okay?"I asked curiously.

He smiled back cleaning his mouth with the

Why did he suddenly change his mind,I don't trust him anymore, am sorry Bruno.

"I can't go with you"i replied.

"Why?.. I mean,dad requested to see you ......us, come on baby, please"he said suprised at my decision.

"I can't, I have my reasons, please I will tell you when you come back ,just go without me okay"i replied trying not to cry.

He looked little sad

"I love you Bruno"I said and hugged him.

"Hey ,you have to tell me what's bothering you or am going nonwhere"he said into my ears.

"I promise will tell you everything when you get back"

I insisted.

He sighed and kissed me.

"Alright,I love you too,so much "

He kissed me again and left.

I accompanied him to the outdoor then after he drove out of sight,I went back to the house sobbing ,i fall on the couch and I hugged a pillow,am I wrong for ignoring Mr Hathaway's invitation,he might plan something against me ,I don't want to take risks am sorry Bruno.

**BRUNO'S POV**

I walked into our living room and found dad,and other family members already waiting for me even granny.

"What's this a famly gathering"I joked.

"Come on here sweetie'

Granny said offering a hand.

I went to her and sat down,the faces of the others ate not quite welcoming,I wonder what's all the fuss about.

Dad started

"First of all I want to congratulate my son,on his success concerning our company crisis,you did good and also soon tobe the new CEO officially"."

Granny patted my hair and scattering it roughly

"Granny!"I chuckled.

"So proud of ya"She whispered.

I was smiling uncontrollably.

"Where is Beauty?"Father asked,looking around searching for her.

"She is on her monthly stuff...it...,it disturbs her a lot,she loved to come actually but I asked her to stay back home".

I lied scratching my ear,Granny could tell I was lying,I don't about the other family members.

"Well sadly that's not her reason"Father sneered.

"Excuse me?"I snapped with arched brows, annoyingly though I was a bit confused on how sure he sounded.

"Listen to your Father first Bruno"Mother urged.

"Can I comtinue?"Father asked gazing at me.

I didn't say anything to him.

"He is listening contimue"Abigail replied instead.

"Last week Tuesday something happened, and I decided not to keep it to myself anymore,it's something I still doubted up to this moment,j was shocked beyond measure, okay I know I never liked her but let's be fair.....

"What are you talking about dad?,who?"I cuts in.

He picked up a remote and put on the wide screen and then he played a record.

My face was almost as shattered as my heart,I thought I couldn't breathe,my blood were drained from my whole body and my heart pointing faintly.

"What's this?,can someone tell me what the fuck is going on here!"

I snapped breathlessly.

"Am sure you had a better eye sight than me Bruno,such a sweet girl I am really disappointed"Granny said.

The video was a video of Beauty and father,it showed the moment Beauty walked into his room.

My daddy was suprised to see her and asked her ask her what she was doing there.She seduced him and. ....

I closed my eyes,my thick brows arched as tears rolled down my cheeks,my fist folding shaking in anger.

"What is this honey,you gave in?how could you"my mom cried out loud.

"She was persistent and am a man, what am I supposed to do!,who would believe such whore,I knew it from the start!"He replied my mom who was already in tears

I rushed and grabbed on him,holding back from giving him a fist blow.

"How could you dad!!!,your son's fiancee!!".

I snapped angrily my blood boiling.

As I stare angrily at into his eyes,my lips shaking.

"Let go of me you fool,I did what any man would do with a deceptive seductress like her"he replied.

"You look like you enjoy it huh,you enjoyed having sex with your daughter-inlaw to be!!"I yelled out again.

"She is not my daughter-inlaw to be and never will be!"he snapped.

Grandma came and held me back

"Is okay "she consoled me.

I let go of him,my eyes widened in shock,this can't possibly be happening.

"Bruno why are you angry and blaming dad, what about that ugly fat pig of your fiancee"Abigail stated.

"Shut it abigail!!"I snapped

"No you shut it Bruno,screw it,that fool had the guts to come into my bedroom and lure my husband into it"Mother stated angrily.

I cleaned my face and laughed sadly

"lure you said?,look how he used her like a whore,if that's actually her,I doubt,because he hated Beauty he might have framed her up or something"

"You are so blind in love that you can't see that she is nothing but a gold digger"

Abigail screamed at me.

"Are you calling me a liar,the CCTV is there to prove my innocence"Father defended himself.

"You could have left ,and stopped her but you ...did it like you wanted it a long time"i snapped with rage and jealousy.

"Did you watch the time she was ontop of dad?, ofcourse not you closed your eyes"Abigail snapped back.

"This can't be,its not Beauty,she is innocent I know it"i yelled out,my head aching.

"Sometimes people are not what they really seems ,people are like that honey"Grandma , who has been speechless by what she saw,finally spoke out.

"Granny ,you too?,don't tell me ,you believe she can do this,Beauty is not that type of person"i said with pleading eyes

She sighed and held me

"Of course not but human being can change alot, maybe she's not as innocent as i thought as we.. thought,get a programmer to confirm if they video is real or fake if it's real then am sorry I can't take sides with you" she consoled me.

An hour later the video programmer arrived

I made sure I was the one that got him to do the job to avoid compromise.

We also checked the CCTV which shows,when she came in to the compound with a cab

and when she left after having it with my father.

"It's all real,100 percent".

The programmer and expert replied a finality in his tone.

"Now what are you going to do Thomas?"Abigail snapped angrily at me

"I hated that girl from the first day I saw her on that video call,very ugly and desperate"Abigail continued.

I turned to her furious. "Enough!! Abigail,don't you ...

My mom slapped me hard, shutting me up

"Get back to your senses Bruno!!,she wants to wreck my home,our home,she's nothing but a bitch and a gold digger,your uncle's brother in-law warned you but no instead you insulted him now look where you've got to,that shameless nyphomanic,first she made love to you in this house next was your daddy maybe if grand pa was alive ,he could be the next in line,that girl will never be my daughter in-law"Mother stated angrily.

I took my car keys and walked angrily out of the room,got to my car ,I cried and hit on anything close.

This can't be happening ,why would she do this ,why ?

I drove carelessly out of the compound ,crying all the way, even though I tried to stop ,I could not control my tears.

Her moans and pleasure chuckles in that video hits me badly,it was same when we are together,it was so real to be real,how could she,was I being played all along,is she really what they said she that she is,there's a video evidence,why am supposed to do.

"Hey!! watch it!! asshole!!"a biker man shouted at me in fury.

I hit the brake nervously nad realized that I was driving blindly towards a building.

The securities came to me to inquire about my reckless driving.

"Am... am so sorry".

That was the only thing that I could utter,my lips shaking nervously ,I break down inside my car and cried loudly.

My head felt like an exploded ballon after I pulled over to a parking lot and slept off there.

Hours later ,I woke up to a dark sky.

"Mr ,are you okay?"

A passenger man asked hitting my window.

"Is he dead?"Someone else asked

"The car parked here for hours"another said.

I engaged my engine and flashed my lead light.

They all stepped aside and i drove out of the place now gently and more carefully.

I stopped at beauty's place and horned repeatedly,I don't want to go into the house,I was so angry to even step out of my car.

**BEAUTY'S POV**

I heard the horn outside, sounds like Bruno's car,have been waiting like forever,finally he is back,I ran out of my room happily,I'm so glad he came back as promised,I rushed out of the house,and stood in front of the door.

I knew he must be watching,I brushed my hair,and checked my dress out then I pouted my lips and watched towards him,like I was mad at him for wasting time.

My parents went to visit Gramps ,so they will be passing a night out there ,I was glad when they informed though,because we can stay together tonight without worrying about my parents.

I wonder why he doesn't want to come down yet,I walked to his avr,and stood by the door smiling uncontrollably,he whined down the glass ,my smile faded.

"Baby what's wrong?"

My heart beats faster and hurting seeing him in that state,what is happening first it was Jessie now Bruno?

He was crying

"Are you going to pretend not to know?"

He laughed sadly licking his wet lips

"Know about what,I don't know,what you are talking about,baby,I swear,come in oets talk about it okay".

I wanted to dry his cheeks with my palm

But he stopped me

"Maybe this video will remind you"

He gave me his tab and played a video on it.

I was curious and serious to find out what happened,so I took it and watched.

As soon as I saw the content,I was riding on Mr Hathaway,I gasped loud my heart stopped,my eyes bulged out widely in shock,I unintentionally dropped the tablet ,I couldn't explain the shock but it took me minutes to open my mouth and gaped into a loud cry.

"This is not me,I...will never!"

I broke down crying.

"But it is you Beauty.."Bruno replied.I looked up at him with my eyes wet.

"Look baby the day I....had an issue with your dad,he asked me for sex and..

"What now,why are you doing this,is this a cover for what you did?"

I cried more.

"I swear am saying the truth,this isn't me,it maybe a fake video to frame me or something, baby please believe me"i cried loudly.

"I personally called a programmer to check it Beauty,you think dad will step so low to frame you to gain what?,tell me,Is this why you didn't want to go with me and see dad,you were feeling guilty that you cheated on me with my daddy,Beauty... really? my dad!!"Bruno voice sounded so harsh and brutal.

"No...please .stop it Bruno ,you are hurting me!!"I shook my head and grabbed my hair,crying hysterically.

I thought so hard about the time this happened,the cloths I was wearing is nothing like something I had in my wardrobe in the past or even presently

"I swear that isn't me,I...........

"That's you Beauty!!,it was you...,can't you tell me the truth, why did you have to do this,tell me your reason let me know how to heal,am completely losing myself ,Beauty am so so confused and so... f**k!!".

He puts his hand over his mouth looking the other way.

I hated to see him this sad and helpless.

I had to remember but my brain was blank,I have no single memory of this,I was so torn apart,I lost my breathe.

I grabbed my hair ,losing my mind then I hold my chest and was trying to breathe normally crying

"I promise you.....(Cries in between)I promise.... Bruno,I don't know how or when..I don't know.."

I cried nervously shaking all over.

My hands scattering my hair as I tried to remember but nothing came to mind,I was helpless.

The only time I slept out was when I fall asleep at Jessi place and that wasn't even the dress I wore,I don't why how or when or even if this so real,am I dreaming right now.

"This isn't me, believe me Bruno..., please I..".

I broke down again

He suddenly stopped crying and was straight up

"Fine ,I believe you...."

I looked up suprisely, a bit relieved.

"Thanks,I love you baby"i sobbed but he didn't reply or even look at me.

"but you have to give me sometime........,let's give eachother some time"

"But baby we just got back after...

I was shocked he started the engine

"Baby?..

For the firsttime,he ignored me and drove off.

"Baby!!"I shouted after him, my heart was ripped into shreds,how am I supposed to prove my innocence.
