The car stopped in front of Rebecca's apartment. Edwin turned his head to look at Rebecca who was now sleeping soundly in her seat, after getting tired of attending the long party.

He knew she would be tired after a long day. So, all he got was a smile on his face while his eyes drool over her cute pretty face for a long minute before finally, he made up his mind to wake her up. Even he isn't willing to.

If it's not about their professional relationship, he will directly take her in his lap and go to the apartment. He never needs to make her wake up. But as the situation is different, waking her up is the best choice here. He doesn't want to make her uncomfortable anyway because of his actions.

Soon he softly called her name as his hand touched her shoulder, "Miss Rebecca."

But she didn't flinch at all and was still sleeping soundly.

Edwin felt sighing helplessly. As he tried to pat her shoulder a little hard to make her wake up.

"Miss Rebecca, your home is here." And this time, she finally opened her eyes lazily, only to see Edwin's smiling face in front of him and soon remember to fall asleep in the car.

"Ohh, Mr.Edwin!" She instantly sat straight as she felt embarrassed about her situation. When her boss is driving for her on his own, she, as his employee, falls asleep without any care.

That is truly embarrassing.

"I'm sorry, Mr.Edwin. I don't when I just fall asleep. I…"

"Miss Rebecca, it's alright. I know, you are too tired after attending the party. So, don't need to feel embarrassed." Edwin gave an assured smile.

Rebecca's cheeks flushed to see his cute smile as she thanked him and nodded lightly.

"Miss Rebecca, your home is here. You can go and take a rest now." Edwin added while his eyes looked at the apartment and then her.

Rebecca's eyes also noticed that they are already standing in front of Julia's apartment.

But before leaving she needed to say something, so she moved her eyes from the apartment to Edwin.

"Mr.Edwin."

Edwin looked at her and hummed," Hmm." Waiting for her to complete her words.

"Mr.Edwin, I'll send this dress to you the next day in the office. As it's already late and I can't give it without cleaning it..." Rebecca's words made Edwin look at her dress and immediately calmly responded to her, "You don't need to give that back to me, Miss Rebecca. You can take it as it suits you."

Rebecca's face turned red to hear his last line. But still, she can't take this expensive dress from him.

"But, I-I can't take it. It's an expensive dress, Mr.Edwin. I can't afford this." She explained without hesitation.

Edwin understands her nature very clearly, so he said," Miss Rebecca, this is your return gift for attending today's party with me and I hope you don't reject your boss's gift. Or I'll feel you want to argue with your boss."

Hearing 'Boss' words made her seal her lips. Not to say anything more. She knows she can't win against him. As he is her boss. She can't deny him. So, she finally turned silent but it does not mean she accepted his dress. She will send this the next day after dry cleaning.

Seeing her silent, Edwin felt satisfied. As this is the only thing that works on her every time.

After losing the talk with him, she silently gets off the car and finally turns to bid good night to Edwin.

"Good Night, Mr.Edwin and thank you for dropping me home back." Rebecca gave a polite smile to him while Edwin nodded to her words and responded back in a gentle tone, "Good Night you too, and get good rest now."

Hearing him, she nodded.

Edwin looked at her with a small smile as his car engine started and he moved to turn his way back to his home.

Rebecca stood there until his car flew from there.

"Hey! Welcome home!" As soon as Julia opened the door, she showed a big smile to her.

Rebecca smiled back at Julia and entered the house. She was tired, so she directly walked toward the couch and sat on it comfortably.

Julia closed the door and walked toward her, taking the seat on a single couch.

"Feeling tired?" Julia asked.

Rebecca nodded to her and asked," What about you? Are you feeling good now?" She asked about her periods.

"Yeah, it's good that's why I'm sitting here," Julia responded with a chuckle.

Rebecca gave a tired smile and nodded.

"How did you come back?" Julia inquired.

Rebecca looked at her and then thought about Edwin before finally answering.

"Mr.Edwin dropped me back."

"That's cool!" Julia's smile turned wide as she added, "So tell me, How was the party?" She looked at Rebecca with curious eyes as she rested her palms on her cheeks like she was ready to watch some good movie.

Rebecca sighed to see how Julia always stayed energetic while she was feeling the opposite of her right now. And she explained that in her response.

"Julia, I'm feeling too exhausted. Can you please let go of the party thing for today?"

Julia immediately understood and didn't argue. This is one of the normal things to get tired easily as a pregnant lady.

"Alright, you can rest today but promise me, you will tell me the whole story about the party in the morning." Rebecca chuckled to hear her words and immediately agreed with her.

"Alright, I promised." Julia felt satisfied and told her to go to her room. When she gets back to her.

Rebecca changed her dress to a casual nightgown. While she put the party dress in the bucket for sending in to dry cleaning.

After lying on her bed she started to think about Edwin. Her mind was filled with his thoughts and his action toward her. She also thinks about the dance. How they both forget about everything and just follow the rhythm. And his sweet parents, how good they were to her.

Suddenly, this thought made her remember her father. She missed him so much but found it hard to contact him or tell him, she was fine.

She wanted to hear her dad's voice, but couldn't do that, realizing this made her eyes get tears.

"Mom…when I can see dad? I missed him so much!" She curled up her body and suddenly felt lonely deep inside her heart.

"Did you drop her safely?" Mrs.Hutson asked to see Edwin coming back home where the party was still going on, many people were busy with their talks and drinks. While some couples were on the dance floor.

Edwin glanced at the dance couple for a moment, before moving his gaze to his Mom and responding in a calm tone.

"Yes, mom, she should be sleeping at her house until now."

Hearing him, She chuckled and said, "Good for her, She should be too tired after attending the party."

Edwin slightly nodded.

Mrs.Hutson could see her son was happy to hear her name and this made her glad. As she added the next moment, "Son, let's meet some important guests and bid bye before they leave the party. As they were waiting for you to meet before going back."

Edwin nodded in understanding and asked about his dad.

"What about dad? Mom."

"He is already with them. But you are the main star of tonight's party. Don't forget that." Mrs.Hutson had a proud smile on her face which made Edwin smile back at her and walk to meet their guests.
