"Are you hungry?"

"Do you want to eat something?" Edwin inquired Rebecca, as he knew as a pregnant lady. She will get hungry easily. As of now, she got two bellies to fill.

Rebecca looked at him with a little touch to see how he is caring for her but she just felt shy to say yes, so she just shook her head in denial before responding "I'm not feeling hungry. I already drank the juice..."

Hearing her, Edwin calmly nodded and told her to wait for him while he moved fast toward the starter's dishes and got a strawberry dessert for her on the plate with a napkin and spoon.

"Here you go…" Edwin comes back in front of her with a dessert plate.

Rebecca looked at the plate with dessert, with surprised eyes. As she moved to look back at Edwin.

"This is...I just…" She wanted to tell him that he does not need to do that on his own.

But before she could complete her words Edwin already moved the plate in her hands and gently spoke," I know you are hungry...just eat it…"

Rebecca's cheeks heated up as her ears turned red to hear his statement.

She tightly held the plate as she looked at him and thanked him later, "Thank you, Mr.Edwin..."

Edwin nodded and smiled lightly.

"Now, you should try the cake, isn't your favorite flavor?" Edwin's brows arched playfully as he focused on Rebecca's red face.

Hearing his words, she felt surprised and looked at him with a blinking gaze before she hesitantly asked," Yes, it is...but how do you know that?

She can't think they talk about her personal like and dislike before.

Edwin saw her questioning gaze and responded," I saw you eating this flavor many times in your cabin…"

Rebecca suddenly realized he saw her eating the cakes between working time and felt embarrassed. She bit her lower lips next later with awkwardness.

Edwin chuckled inside his mind to see how her reaction was too cute. He couldn't help but wanted to hug her.

When they were having cute conversations. The familiar voice attracted them.

"Boss!" Sam's voice made both of them look in his direction who was finally here. And moving towards them.

"Hello, Miss Rebecca!" Sam gave a bright smile while she smiled back.

Edwin looked at him with a deep frown and noticed he came alone.

"Sam, why the hell are you late? And where is Julia?" He coldly asked.

Sam looked at his boss with an awkward smile, as his hand scratched his back scalp before answering, "Boss, I …"

"Julia got some health issues. That's why she did not come with Mr.Sam…I got a text from her a few minutes ago..." Rebecca said between their talks.

Edwin understood and nodded. While Sam sighed. He doesn't need to go deep to explain anything to his boss.

"Mr.Sam, thank you for dropping her back home and helping her." Rebecca thanked him.

"There is no need to thank me, I should do that as a friend." Hearing his words, Rebecca and Edwin looked at him with confused gazes.

As he meets Julia a few hours ago for the first time. When will they become friends? They didn't figure that out.

Sam could understand their questions and immediately added," I mean, you are my friend. So, my friend's friend is my friend!"

Hearing his silly words Edwin felt annoyed while Rebecca couldn't help but chuckled harder and nodded to him.

"Yes, you are right! Mr.Sam!"

Sam smiled back to see her smiling while Edwin didn't understand what there is to be a laugh? But as she's happy. He will be gladly ready to listen to Sam's meaningless sentence.

"Hello, Mr.Edwin!" Suddenly, some important business partners of Hutson come to shake their hands with Edwin.

While Sam helps his boss to give details about every person.

Rebecca felt calm while they were busy.

Edwin peeks at Rebecca who didn't start eating until now.

"Sam…"

"Yes, Boss!" Sam comes behind him.

"You take Rebecca to sit on the couch and tell her to finish her cake. I'll join her after this conversation." Sam nodded and immediately rushed to Rebecca who was just a few steps from them.

"Miss Rebecca!"

"Huh?" Rebecca looked at him.

"Mr.Edwin told me to inform you that the conversation could take a long time. So, why not sit you just there on the couch relaxing and enjoying your cake. Mr.Edwin will join you after the conversation is finished." Sam smiled brightly as soon as he delivered all the messages to her.

Rebecca glanced at Edwin who is now in deep talk. While she turned to look back at Sam who was still looking at her with a smile.

"Then I'll wait there!" Rebecca responded.

Sam felt glad and nodded.

She went towards the couch and sat on it while Sam went back to his boss and delivered Rebecca's message.

Edwin's lips curled up as he raised to watch her seating on the corner couch and enjoying her cake.

Rebecca tasted the cake and felt it was delicious and just according to her liking.

She didn't stop herself from taking more bites and within a minute, she just finished it.

She felt thirsty after eating this, but to her surprise, one waiter immediately serves her water.

"Mam, Water..."

Rebecca gave a small smile to the waiter and took the glass.

Edwin watched her from afar with a satisfied gaze. As he is the one who sends the waiter to her seat in advance.

After drinking water, she thought to call Julia, as she's now free to talk.

"Hello, babe!" Julia immediately held her phone as soon as it was connected.

"Hello, Julia...how are you feeling? Rebecca asked.

"I'm feeling much better after eating medicine and making ginger tea for myself…" Julia's well voice made Rebecca relax.

"It's great. You are okay…" Rebecca sighed and smiled.

"Yeah, but I'm sorry babes…I know you want me to be with you but I can't because of this damn period...Argh..!" Julia's irritating voice confessed.

Rebecca chuckled to hear her words while Julia raised a question, "How is the party?"

"It's good…" Rebecca's eyes moved to check on Edwin's busy figure before answering her.
