After Mrs.Hutson left, Rebecca looked at Edwin who was busy with two men and talking about something. It should be business-related the way his expression is, she could guess that.

Rebecca walked toward him but suddenly her phone vibrated and she stopped to check on Julia's name showing up on the screen.

"Julia?"

"Where is she?" She immediately raised her head and tried to check around before looking at the phone with confusion.

"Why is she texting me? Why is she not here until now?" She mumbled and soon opened the text just to read her message.

'Hey, Rebecca, I got my periods on the way so I need to go back to the residence. Sam already dropped me home. So, don't worry about me and enjoy your party. And, I'm sorry, I know you are nervous about all this event but I trust you… you will rock it… just don't let anyone push you!'

Hearing her text, Rebecca's lips curled up.

"Damn you, Julia, Even when you are in pain, you are thinking about me… I still don't believe I was blessed with someone like you…" She felt emotional but soon it changed with a deep frown when she raised her head and looked in Edwin's direction where he was sitting.

The two men already left him, while the hot young woman took one of the seats beside Edwin.

Anybody could guess what she wants and why she chose that place.

Rebecca's brows arched in disbelief when she saw her dress. It's too short and almost shows her hips. While her half breast came out from her sleeveless dress. The way she's sitting, bending her upper part on the counter, could show almost everything. She could guess.

Seeing the view, Rebecca almost chuckled with anger. This is the first time she felt this type of anger toward someone even without knowing the person.

She walked closer to hear the girl talking to him.

"Ohh Hello, Mr.Edwin…" The woman's hand plays with her brown hair, while she sounds so seductive in front of him.

Edwin ignored her completely and only focused on his drink.

But the woman didn't want to leave.

"Mr.Edwin, don't be too cold. I just came here to congratulate you on your success and toss the drink with you!" She bites her lower lips seductively. While her hands moved to touch his thigh.

Rebecca's mouth half opened to see how the woman was bold enough to do that in a public place.

"Move your hand!" Edwin orders in an angry tone, while he finally turns his head to meet the woman's stares.

He raised his brows in anger while his gaze turned murderous.

However, the girl didn't flinch at all. She thought he was just trying to control himself not to be seduced by him.

"Ohh come on! Mr.Edwin, it's just a toss!" Her hand raised more and this time Edwin was already ready to erupt the volcano. He couldn't take this shit anymore and immediately stood from his place.

"I said, get the fuck your hands off me!" He yelled only making everyone look at him.

The woman this time was a little scared and instantly stood up from the chair.

"Mr-Mr.Edwin...I…" She tried to apologize.

"You are too stubborn, aren't you? Then let's settle the thing right now!" As soon as he said those words, he called security guards and a few moments later two men in uniform came out.

The woman felt embarrassed and she looked at Edwin with little outrage.

Edwin ignored her and looked at the Guards, "Throw her out! I don't want to see her in my territory…"

Hearing his cold voice, the woman felt a chill around her spine. While she tries to apologize the next moment.

"Mr.Edwin, I'm sorry! I don't want to make you angry…" She tried to move toward him but the guards grabbed her arms.

"Hey, leave me!! What are you doing…" She tried to flinch from their grips.

"Miss, please come with us silently all we need to use force and it's not good for your image…" Guards' words hit her and finally, she realized there is no way back.

"A-Alright!" Her lips shivered as tears fell from her eyes with embarrassment.

If she knew, this man in front of her, this cold, she never tried to approach him.

Rebecca watches the whole incident and feels horrified to see Edwin's cold side. He never looked this angry in front of her.

There is always a small smile on his face while gentleness in his words towards her. She doesn't remember watching him like this. Is he truly behaving like this with a woman? Then what about her? Why was he always so calm and composed with her and protecting her?

Suddenly, these thoughts shrug into her mind. While she bit her lower lip as she didn't know why everything made her sense that Edwin liked her? Could be that true?

When she was in chaos, Edwin's gentle voice got her attention, who's already seen her from far age now taking steps toward her.

Rebecca felt her heartbeat turn faster and could explode at any time.

"Miss Rebecca, Why are you here alone? Where is my mom?" Edwin raised a question looking at her and then her surroundings.

Rebecca felt her body cells awaken as soon as he came closer to her. But she tried to maintain her calmness and replied.

"Mrs.Hutson needs to meet some important guests, so she needs to leave me," Rebecca explained hesitantly, as she's feeling her cheeks turning hot with his normal stares at her.

"So, you come back to me...isn't it?" Edwin looked at her with a playful smirk.

Rebecca gulped her saliva and nodded without realizing the deep meaning behind his words.

"Yes…"

Hearing her response, he smile and nodded.

Rebecca felt shy the way he smiled and tucked her hair nervously behind her ears.

While Edwin could not help but be drawn to her beauty. Her every simple move made his heartbeat almost fast while he tried his best not to touch her and kissed her.
