"Mr.Sam, I-I don't think you need to pressure yourself to get me home back. Please just stop the taxi for me, I'll manage myself." Julia doesn't want him to go to the party late because of her. It's an important event.
Sam looked at her little frown and responded, "No. It's not going to happen…"
"I can drop you back! There is no need for a cab!"
"But...what about the party? You will be late…" Julia awkwardly mumbled.
Sam understood her meaning and sighed before speaking," it's fine. Boss will understand. I'll drop you home and you can not deny me anymore…"
Julia pressed her lips tightly while he continued," I can not send you home with a stranger. It's not safe for you and when you are already in pain…"
Sam's words melted her heart and her cheeks turned red to see how serious he was.
"Now, I'm turning…" Sam declared, while Julia slightly nodded without any argument.
He is right in his place, she knew that, and by the way for now all she needs to rush home back to change her expensive dress. She can't let it get dirty because of her wearing it during the period.
After a few moments of silence, Julia thanked him in a soft voice while Sam nodded and looked at her with a small smile.
Again the silence captures the atmosphere, Sam looked at her with corner eyes and could see she was in pain. While Julia paid all attention to pain and the outside view.
He wanted to divert her attention from pain. so, he started to have a small conversation. Like, about her home and family.
And hopefully, Julia answered him about everything with a curious voice while she asked about his family.
"I don't have a family. I'm an orphan!" He replied with a small smile.
Julia was stunned to hear him and apologize next later.
"Ohh I'm sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you…"
"No! You don't have to!" He shook her head.
"I'm fine and you can see that…" He smirked to show his dimples to her only to make her bite her lower lips not smiling too much.
"Julia...My study record is great. And I got a scholarship to complete my education at a good college. And when I was in my final year, I was directly interviewed by the Boss and got selected to work with him. From that day, Hutson turned out to be my family. The Boss's parents treat me like their son and the boss is strict but good from heart. He always gives me good advice as a big brother…"
Julia heard his words deeply while her gaze never left him for a moment at all. Her eyes were tender and gentle, she truly appreciated him opening his personal life in front of her like this.
"Miss Julia, don't look at me like this, I'll misjudge you and think you have fallen for me…" Sam turned and met her gaze next later, only to make her speechless a while she abruptly struggled to retreat her eyes from him.
Hearing his words, her face completely flush while she felt her whole body blood flowing in the opposite direction.
Sam chuckled to see her reaction, to my making her shyer.
"Sorry, I'm just kidding ... please don't be awkward…" Sam showed his dimples and it worked like magic on Julia's heart.
While she nodded to him with a small smile agreeing with his words.
With their small conversation, Sam finally reached Julia's apartment.
"Finally, it's home." Sam declared turning his gaze on her.
Julia gave a small smile and nodded.
"Thank you for dropping me back home…." Sam nodded and smiled back.
Julia tried to open the car door but Sam told her to hold on, while the next moment he gets off the car and went to her side, to open the door for her.
Julia blushed and thanked him while trying to come out but her cramp is already on her high. So, when she stood, she felt pain and winched.
"Are you okay?" Sam held her hand and asked in a concerned tone.
"Y-Yeah, it's normal!" She smilingly explained.
Sam never knew the period was that painful. but as a man who has never been with a woman. How could he understand that?
He is single, just like his boss. But it doesn't mean he never wanted to get into a relationship but the workload always made him take back his feet from love or partner.
"Now I should go...you can go back to the party!" Julia's words made him come back to his senses and immediately nod.
Julia gave him a warm smile and waved her hand to start walking toward her building direction.
But seeing how slow her step was, he could not help himself not to walk behind her and held her up, with both arms in bridal style.
Julia, who is walking slowly, suddenly sees herself raised by Sam, and the next moment she's in his arms makes her completely shocked while she uses her arms to wrap around his neck to adjust herself, from not falling to the ground.
Her eyes turned enlarged while she shockingly stared at him with a questioning gaze. She gasped the next moment only realizing how everything was too fast for her to digest.
"Mr.Sam...wh-what.."
She was in shock but Sam immediately responded.
"I'm sorry Miss Julia for my sudden behavior but I can't watch you in pain…"
Hearing his words which just fall from his mouth, Julia's heart thumped. She looked at his serious gaze.
"Please let me drop you in front of your door!" His face turned soft while requesting.
Julia bit her lower lips feeling too much pressure before finally nodding and whispering to him," Alright!"
Sam smiled and thanked her.
"Thank you for permission!"
Julia's cheeks turned red while she looked down feeling shy.
"Let's go now…" Sam declared as he started walking, while Julia only hoped no one could see them in this position. It's going to be embarrassing.
Sam enters the lift with Julia in his arms while asking her on which floor her apartment is.
Julia answers him in a low tone and Sam pressed the button only to hear the ding sound the next moment and come out in her same position.
As soon as they arrived in front of her door, Julia asked him to put her down while Sam did that.
"Thank you for sending me to the door…" Julia shyly thanked him while he nodded and gave her a a bag which got her pad and medicine.
Julia forget about it but seeing he got that she thanked him again while he told her to move inside.
Julia opens the door while Sam finally bids goodbye.
