After closing the doors and windows perfectly. They sat on the couch.

Julia started scrolling on her phone while Rebecca felt a little nervous to think about attending the party with Edwin.

She doesn't know anything about rich party things and how the atmosphere would be there? Will she be able to handle everything? What if she disappointed Edwin and others? What if young women target her? Will she be able to handle all those stares?

She doesn't want any handline or capture the limelight with Edwin at this party as this party was organized for him but as his partner, everyone's eyes are going to be on her. Even when she had nothing to do with him. It is all just a professional matter.

She can't avoid many eyes tonight. This thought gave her so much burden and pressure.

Julia moved her eyes from the phone to her nervous friend and sighed.

She could see how anxious Rebecca is and immediately thought to cheer her up with a simple and motivating talk.

She stood from her seat and went to her side only taking place beside her while touching her shoulder to get Rebecca's attention back.

"Hey…"

Rebecca looked at her with a nervous gaze.

"Julia...I…"

"Babe, I know! I know you are nervous! But Don't think too much and kill your joy! It's just a party and you are going to rock it! Believe me! And don't forget you are not alone there, I'll be there with you..."

Julia tried to reassure her with a small smile while Rebecca nodded and smiled back slowly.

"Moreover, don't forget about our boss! Mr.Edwin…"

"He will also be beside you there. It means, no one can bully you or talk back against you. He will never let anyone do that as much as I guess and you forget what he did last time in the restaurant dinner conference for you when the fat man tried to harass you and the bar incident…"

Hearing her words, Rebecca remembered all the incidents and felt Edwin is truly a brilliant person. Her anxiety turned lesser as soon as she thought about all of this.

"You are telling the truth, Julia…" Rebecca finally responded agreeing with her words.

Julia felt happy to hear her positive words and smiled brightly.

"So, Now don't think too much, just be positive…"

Rebecca nodded to her and smiled warmly. She was glad Julia was going with her. That means she could be around her.

Suddenly, the phone's ringing sound catches both of their eyes.

Rebecca immediately held the phone and saw Edwin's name.

"What are you doing, take it!" Julia excitedly mumbled.

Rebecca nodded to her as she pressed the answer button and put it on her ear side.

"Hello, Mr.Edwin…"

"Miss Rebecca, please come out. I'm already here! Waiting for you..."

Hearing him waiting, Rebecca's heart thumped, and the next moment her cheeks turned red, as she abruptly answered," Y-Yes...I'm coming!"

"Alright!" Edwin ends the call. While Rebecca looked at the screen.

Julia noticed her blushing cheeks and giggled, "What did he say to make you turn red?"

Hearing Julia's teasing words made Rebecca raise her eyebrows and tried to look strict which made Julia chuckle harder.

Rebecca felt embarrassed as he did not say anything unusual to her but still she was blushing like a teenager. Is this how people turned fools in love?

Love? Thinking these words, she bit her lower lips while her heart jumped in her place.

"No! It can't be…" She abruptly mumbled but Julia heard her.

"What can't be Rebecca? Julia asked, still feeling teased. But Rebecca shook her head and gave a small smile in return.

"N-Nothing!" She can't tell her what she just thought.

"Babe, stop daydreaming!" Hearing her, She felt awkward. While Julia felt smiling. She knew Rebecca's feelings for Edwin and hoped her friend realized that and didn't try to run anymore.

"Now tell me, what does the boss tell you in the call? Is he here?"

Rebecca suddenly remembered Edwin who was still waiting for them and immediately responded in a hurry," Yes, he was already standing down there! We need to hurry"

"Alright!" Julia responded.

While both ladies come out of their apartments holding purses and lock the door behind them before taking a lift to come down.

As they come out, their eyes are captured by two cars.

"Why are there two cars?" Julia asked.

"I don't know!"

"But I guess, the second one is someone else! Why would he bring two cars? It's not like we both couldn't adjust to that one car!" Rebecca plainly explained while Julia also felt the same.

Rebecca is familiar with Edwin's car, so she brings Julia in that direction.

On the other side, Edwin was sitting in the passenger seat while his driver was sitting in the driver's seat waiting for them.

He felt it was turning late so he checked the time through his expensive wristwatch and thought to call her, but before he started dialing the number soon his eyes were captured by Rebecca's figure, as he looked in the car's mirror direction.

Edwin saw Rebecca with Julia walking towards his car and he immediately opened the door to come out and check on her.

He sends the best dresses and the best makeup artist who is famous for dressing big celebrities. For her, as he wants to pamper her.

So, when he glanced at the young woman in front of him, he couldn't help but feel completely stunned by her beauty. His eyes filled with a spark as soon as he saw her appearance.

On the other side, Rebecca and Julia also noticed Edwin.

"Wow! He looked more Handsome today!" Julia announced while giving a trading smile to Rebecca.

Rebecca didn't flinch at her words as she was already looking at his appearance with admiration.

He wore a grey tuxedo while there was a bow on his neck which complemented his look perfectly.

He looked more attractive while his brown eyes carried tender stares which only followed her. As soon as, she realized that, her cheeks turned reddish.

His eyes also checked on her which made her a little excited and nervous, both.

While walking Julia saw their eyes contact and smile happily.
