After finishing her sandwich, she takes the plate to the sink area and puts it there.

When she was busy washing her hand, her cell phone started ringing, which she put on the top of the refrigerator.

She immediately moved toward the fridge to check on her phone. And when she held it in her hand, soon Edwin's name popped on it, which she saved as a Boss number.

"Mr.Edwin…" She bit her lower lips as she immediately pressed the answer button and pushed it against her ears.

"Hello, Mr.Edwin…"

Her voice turned hectic.

On the other side, Edwin smiled happily as he was too eager to attend the party with Rebecca.

Hearing her sweet voice, he already imagined her facial expression. He knew she was a little nervous about tonight's party but he will make sure to not let her feel that way after she gets back with her.

"Hello, Miss Rebecca…"

"I just called you to inform you that I'll be there in half an hour to pick you up from home. So be ready."

"Pick me?" Rebecca felt confused.

"Are you coming here to take me, Mr.Edwin?" She felt hesitant to hear his words about coming by himself to get her.

Edwin could sense her surprising voice but didn't react at all and calmly responded to her, "Yes. You heard right...So be on time! I'll call you after coming outside your apartment."

"Huh?" Rebecca blinked her eyes feeling too stunned. The boss coming on his own to take her? How could she digest this?

But before she could deny him or stop him from coming to her apartment.

Edwin immediately disconnects the call after saying his words. He didn't have her chance to deny him or tell him any excuse.

Rebecca glanced at her phone screen as she tightly pressed her lips feeling confusion inside her heart.

Edwin coming on his own to take her, should she be happy? Or should she feel nervous about the way things are going on between them?

The more she thought to stay away from him, the more coincidence brought them together. Or say Edwin making things hard for her. And as he is boss, she can't deny him or his words. She sighed feeling helpless and made her way toward Julia's bedroom.

"Rebecca, where did you go? I was going to check on you!" Julia informed as she got ready with the makeup lady's help.

Rebecca was still in chaos as she answered, "I was just in the kitchen as I was feeling a little hungry…"

Julia understood and nodded.

"Ohh I got it…"

"So, now tell me, how am I looking?" Julia asked excitedly.

Only hearing her words, Rebecca comes out of Edwin's thoughts and looks at her beautiful friend with a stunning smile who's looking too gorgeous and excellent after doing makeup and fixing her hair in a French bun. The black gown makes her body look more fascinating, she felt that. She knew Julia is beautiful and the lady made her beauty too admirable after enhancing her features perfectly as her temperament.

Rebecca hoped that Julia gets her prince charming tonight. If there is someone perfect for her friend.

"Julia, You look so gorgeous and exquisite in this black gown. I hope you got your prince charming at tonight's party!" Hearing her words Julia felt shy and smiled gorgeously.

"Rebecca, Thank you for your sweet words…" Rebecca chuckled to hear her and nodded, before adding, "You deserve the compliment!"

Julia laughed happily.

"Ms. You did a great job on my best friend…"

Rebecca looked at the makeup lady with a smile.

"Ohh, No! No!"

"Don't say that!" She waved her hand.

"You both friends are gorgeous. I just used some makeup to enhance your features to make you look more delicate...You both are natural beauty, without my help you both still could capture any man's heart…"

Hearing her both of them chuckled and thanked her once again for her good work.

"Now, it's time to leave ladies! I'm glad to meet you both...You both are so kind and sweet and I love to work for you in the future also!" The lady gave a small smile while they both felt the same for her.

"We are both also glad to meet you, Ms," Rebecca responded while Julia nodded her head in agreement with her.

After the lady left the apartment, Julia came back and asked her. If she booked the cab or Mr.Edwin will send a driver for her?"

Rebecca felt a little taken back to hear her question as she remembered Edwin's arrival call.

She looked at Julia who was waiting for her response as she was already checking for the cab on her phone.

"Julia, actually I need to tell you something…"

"What? Tell me!" Julia simply asked without moving her eyes from her phone.

"Julia, when you were busy getting ready and I went to the kitchen for food, I got a call from Mr.Edwin…"

"What?" Julia raised her head and looked in her friend's direction with deep eyes.

"He called you?" She came and sat beside Rebecca in a hurry.

"Yes…" Rebecca responded calmly.

"What did he say to you?" Her voice turned excited which made Rebecca a little frowned but she knew until she told her everything, she was going to ask her a thousand questions.

"He is coming to take us on his own." She explained.

"Wow! That's a cool babe! Prince Charming is coming to take his Cinderella on his own!"

Julia's words made Rebecca frowned deeply while Julia immoderately rectify herselthe the next moment.

"I'm just kidding!"

Julia timidly smiled while looking at Rebecca, as she added later," But isn't big news, the big boss coming by his own to take his employee!"

She smiled teasingly while Rebecca sighed feeling defended in front of Julia's talk.

"Julia, please don't start again… Let's not talk about this matter any more and just be prepared to move on as soon as Mr.Edwin calls us. We can't let our boss wait for us!"

Rebecca trieda to draw a clear line between Edwin and her in front of Julia.

However, Julia chuckled to gear her words in kidding and responded teasingly, "Aye! Aye! Madam!"
