"Miss Rebecca, that small dot which is showing on the monitor is a fetus! You have one baby in your womb!" The doctor pointed at the monitor with her finger.

Rebecca's eyes filled with tears and rolled on both corners.

Julia squeezed her hand, giving her some comfort.

Both ladies looked at the monitor while their lips were almost wide with happiness.

So, this is the feeling you get when you see the baby! Rebecca thought in her heart.

Her eyes deeply assumed to see the fetus while her heart filled with deep emotions. She doesn't think anything is more precious than this feeling which she has right now. Someone is growing inside her and that little thing is going to complete her.

"It's time for the detection of a fetal heartbeat! Just listen to it carefully!" The doctor instructed and she slid the probe up towards the maternal amber to identify the fetal heart and heartbeat. She slides from left to right to hear the heartbeat and finally, they all can hear the sound clearly.

"Oh my God!" Julia couldn't help but feel astonished.

Rebecca's eyelashes flickered while closed her eyes to listen to her precious baby's heartbeat for the first time. She felt overwhelmed at this moment and showed a bright smile while opening her eyes just to see the fetus on the monitor.

"My Baby!" She murmured with so much emotion.

Suddenly, her mind captured for a moment to think about the man. Her child's father. What would it feel like if he was there with her and their baby?

But the next moment she shook her thoughts and smiled again.

"It's all done! Let me wipe the gel!" The doctor said and started doing her last work.

Rebecca arranged her dress while the nurse helped her to take off the sheet from above her.

After getting off, the doctor told them to wait for her in the cabin while she needs to do some little more work.

Julia and Rebecca went to her cabin.

After everyone is gone the doctor slides the curtain which is just a barrier for another room.

"Mr.Hutson! I hope you feel good to see your baby!" The doctor smiled but felt a little hesitant about this situation.

Edwin came out from the curtain behind and looked at her with a pleased face.

"Thank you, doctor! I know this is against the rules! But I want to see her and our baby. I hope you can understand and don't worry! This is just a secret between us! Your job is not in danger!" Edwin assured her.

The doctor sighed and nodded.

"Mr.Edwin, if you are her child's father then I'll give you one piece of advice. Just clear all the misunderstandings with Miss Rebecca as soon as possible and be with her in these heavy times!"

Edwin nodded with a calm face.

"Now, I'm leaving! You will get the ultrasound photos in the evening!" The doctor informed him before leaving.

Edwin got the news from the doctor last night that today is Rebecca's first trimester.

After hearing this, he asked the doctor to let him stay in the examination room with her and set one more monitor in the attached room.

The doctor used a curtain to hide him in another room while he also saw the fetus through another monitor and heard his baby's heartbeat for the first time. It all feels like magic to him. He truly wanted to run beside Rebecca and hugged her for giving him this special feeling through their child. Thanked her for deciding to give birth. There were extra cameras hidden in the examination hall to see Rebecca.

He could see her tear up to watch their baby and listen to its heartbeat. He truly wished he could go and support her at that moment. But that's all he thought. For now, first, he needs to tell the truth to her.

He sighed helplessly.

"Miss Rebecca, The baby is in good health and there are no symptoms of any risk." The doctor reported.

"Thank you, doctor!" Rebecca thanked her.

"Now, you need to do proper healthy eating and do exercise just like a little walk and try to be happy! Don't make yourself tired or do heavy tasks! And be sure to come on the exact date for the second trimester. If you feel any type of pain or discomfort in your belly. Just come for a check-up."

Rebecca heard everything carefully and nodded. Julia also silently hears everything with her friend. Not to miss any details.

"Your ultrasound report you can collect in the evening! Now you can go home!" The doctor finally announced.

"Thank you, doctor! I'll remember everything!" Rebecca reassures and gets off the chair with Julia.

After Rebecca left the doctor's clinic with Julia, Edwin looked at them from the corner.

In the evening,

"Boss! You got a parcel from the clinic!" Sam put the parcel on the desk with a smile.

"Alright, you can go!" He ordered.

Sam nodded and left the cabin in a fast way.

Edwin looked at the envelope and teared up to look inside.

He picked out the ultrasound photos and looked at them with a soft smile.

He could see his baby who was just like a small peanut size.

How adorable is it! He thought in his mind and chuckled.

At this moment, he couldn't help but feel emotional. His lips showed a tender smile while his eyes turned soft to see the fetus.

He is going to be a dad.

His eyes turned moist. He couldn't help but smile non-stop.

"Rebecca! We got photos!" Julia shouted with excitement.

Rebecca is also eager to finally watch her baby's photos.

"It's already come?"

"Yes!" Julia answered.

"Now hurry, I want to see the photos!" Julia declared with a happy face.

Rebecca chuckled and nodded.

She opened the envelope and saw the ultrasound photos.

Rebecca's eyes filled with tears the next moment as soon she's the photos.

"Our peanuts truly looked like a peanut size!" Julia asserted, which made Rebecca laugh between her tears.

"Yes, I guess so!" Rebecca nodded her head agreeing with her friend's statement.
