Chapter 53: Chapter 53
"Lady, I'm telling the truth! I know Jack Hutson very well! Please let me meet him!" The old man looked at the Recipients with begging eyes. His clothes were so old and torn in many places.
The Recepinest thought at first sight he was a beggar and entered the building when no one noticed him.
"Old man! I'm telling you, leave this place before I ask security to throw you from this building!" Her eyes looked at him with cold stares.
The old man felt disappointed and tried to explain again.
"Young lady, I'm telling the truth! If you don't believe me just call him and tell that Anderson is here."
The Receptionist smirked to hear his words.
"Old man! You mean to say our boss, who is a billionaire , knows you! 'The Beggar'!!" Her voice filled with mockery.
The old man's eyes turned dull while he felt hurt to hear her words.
"Lady, if you don't want to help me then don't try to insult me!" The old man responded.
The receptionist's face turned in hostility towards him.
Her eyes turned dark while she angrily yelled.
"That's enough! Until now I'm try to be generous with you! Because of your old age but you are arguing that I'm bullying you!"
Many people stopped in their place to hear her loud voice.
The old man felt humiliated to see everyone's sharp stares on him.
"Old man! I heard you enough! Now I need to call security!" She announced the next moment. Two security guards came and stood in front of the old man.
"Lady! You don't need to do this! I'll leave now!" The old man's voice turned weak while there were tears holding on his eyes.
He turned to the left with securities.
Rebecca who had just come out from the elevator in time saw what happened but she asked one of the employees to know the full story.
"Excuse me! Can you tell me! What happened?" Rebecca asked one of the lady employees.
The lady knew very well who Rebecca was. So, she greeted her first.
"Hello, Miss Wilson!"
Rebecca nodded in response with a small smile.
Rebecca now got used to this greeting. She's working for a powerful man, so being greeted by other employees is normal.
"Mam, The old person came to meet the president but the recipients stopped him and told him to leave but the old man still oleged her that he knew our president until she insulted him for his clothes and finally ordered security to take him out.
Rebecca's eyes looked at the old man's back.
Thinking something, she moves fast forward and stops the security guards.
"Stop there!" The guards stopped in their ways while the old man also turned to look at Rebecca.
Rebecca stopped just in front of them and smiled at the old man gently.
Every employee saw her action but no one uttered a single word because she's working under the president. The Receptionist is also speechless.
"Hello Sir!"
"Do you want to meet the president?" Rebecca asked in a soft tone.
The old man felt she was a good woman. So, he nodded and replied," Yes, I know him very well. Can you help me to meet him?"
He looked at her with helpful eyes.
"Yes, I can help you! I'm Mr.Hutson's secretary!" She explained.
The old man's eyes filled with gleam to hear her words.
"That's great! Please help me then!"
"I'm not lying! I know him!" He tried to explain to her.
Rebecca felt pity to see how he tried to explain things.
"Sir, don't worry! Mr.Hutson is still in the office. You can meet him now!" Rebecca informed which made the old man smile.
"Alright! Thank you young lady!" The old man thanked her in advance.
Rebecca smiled warmly and nodded.
Everyone saw and heard everything. They started gossiping with each other while Rebecca took the old man with her in the elevator.
Mr.Hutson was busy at work when Rebecca came and knocked on the door.
Mr.Hutson ordered her to come in.
Rebecca entered and walked in front of his desk.
"Sir, I need to inform you something!" She announced.
Mr. Hutson looked at her and asked," And what is that?"
Rebecca understood and spoke up.
"Mr.Hutson, there is an old person who wanted to meet you. He told me he knew you very well! So, I let him come with me to meet you!" She explained.
Mr.Hutson raised his brows.
"Did he tell you his name?" He asked with curiosity.
"No! I didn't ask him." Rebecca replied.
"Alright then, please send him inside!" He ordered.
Rebecca nodded and went outside to take the old man with her.
As the old man enters with Rebecca, he calls Mr.Hutson as 'Master Jack'.
Mr.Hutson raised his head and looked at the person, hearing the familiar voice after so many years later.
As he saw the old man, his lips curled up with astonishment. He stood from his chair.
"Uncle Anderson!!" His words turned soft.
The old man's eyes turned tender to hear him calling uncle.
Rebecca now understands. The old man's words were true. She can see her boss' happy reaction.
Mr.Hutson came towards him and hugged him while the old man patted his back warmly.
Rebecca feels now she needs to leave them alone. She's happy that she brought the old man here in time.
After both men left alone.
Mr.Hutson asked him about his health and what he is doing nowadays? And why is he in this condition?
The old man replied that after getting retired from the driver's position. He stopped working because he thought his sons would take care of him and his wife. But with time their both sons throw them out from their own house. Few months later his wife died and now he is left alone in this big world without any shelter.
Mr.Hutson felt upset for the old man. He worked in a hutson mansion for many years when Mr.Hutson was just a small child. Anderson was a loyal driver and his parents treated him as a family member. He quit the job in his old age.
