"Rebecca, what are you going to do now?" Julia asked with seriousness.

Rebecca looked at her with red eyes.

"I don't know! But I'm not ready for this!" Rebecca blurted out with frustration.

"Then just abort this child! You are not in your best version to secure this baby!" Julia as a friend thinks about her and gives her best suggestion.

Rebecca is a completely broken woman right now. In this position how will she take care of this child? Julia thought that.

Rebecca's eyelashes flicker to hear her words.

This whole time, she never thought of it. Yes, she's not ready for this child but killing the child is also not in her thoughts.

She's just terrified to hear the news.

Julia knew how cruel this society was for single mothers. She doesn't want to see her friend suffer. But she will not go to force her to make any decision.

Rebecca understands her words very well and already started imagining all the possibilities.

"I'll think about it!" Rebecca said and stood up from the couch rushing to her room while Julia sighed and thought she said those words too rushed. What if Rebecca felt hurt?

The man is sitting on the couch while holding a cigarette. His slender white hand pulled the cigarette back on his mouth and inhaled it delicately before puffing it.

His eyes focused on the sky throughout the French window. His stares were calm just like a calm ocean but deep within it, there was a storm.

What he is thinking right now no one can guess.

Sam is silently watching his boss feeling unreadable heaviness.

There was too much silence before finally, Sam's cell phone rang to break the silent atmosphere.

The man's eyes looked at Sam and nodded his head to take the call.

Sam nodded in response to him before taking the call.

"Hello" He responded as soon as he took the call.

But the next moment, the person on the other side disclosed something to him which made him stiff in his place just like a rock.

Sam's eyes flickered with shock and amusement.

The man noticed the changes on his face but waited for him to disconnect the call.

After a few minutes, he finally disconnected the call and looked at his boss with a mixed expression.

"What's the matter?" The man put the cigarette in the ashtray before staring at his face.

"Boss, our man finds out why Miss Rebecca went to the doctor!" Sam's voice becomes hesitant.

The news is too big and he doesn't know what his boss is going to do. If he knew about this surprising news.

The man's stares became deep and waited for him to continue his words.

Sam understood his boss's signal too well and he continued before gulping his saliva with anxiety.

"Boss, Miss Rebecca is pregnant!" Sam announced which fell like a bomb on the man's mind.

His forehead creased while he closed his eyes for a moment before opening it again.

"How was her reaction?" The man's husky deep voice fell on Sam's ears.

Sam looked at his boss and saw the atmosphere turn icier around him. But he couldn't guess what his boss was thinking.

Sam sighed in his heart before continuing his report.

"The doctor said that Miss Rebecca was shocked and panicked. She almost goes unconscious but the doctor helped her at the right time. The doctor also said that Miss Rebecca checked two times to be assured she's pregnant or else she's refusing to accept this fact!" Sam finished his report and fell silent.

His eyes scanned his boss's expression but couldn't find anything.

His boss truly hides his emotions very well.

"When is her next appointment?" The man asked.

"Tomorrow at 10 am," Sam responded.

The man's serious face nodded.

"Tell men to look closely at her!"

"Yes, Boss! They will take care of Miss!" Sam reassured him.

"You can go!"

Sam nodded in response and left the cabin, closing the door.

Rebecca didn't come out the whole day from her room.

At night, at dinner time Julia finally knocked on her door.

"Rebecca, eat something! You can't starve!" Julia's meaning is related to Rebecca's unborn child.

Julia sighed to see, Rebecca still didn't open the door.

She thought Rebecca needed more alone time and didn't knock again, just turned to leave.

But suddenly, the door open sound comes to her ears.

Rebecca came out, seeing that Julia felt relief.

"Let's eat then you can rest!" Julia smiled warmly.

Rebecca's face didn't look too pale now. She just nodded in reply before going to the dining table.

Julia makes some cabbage porridge for eating.

They both started eating silently.

Julia didn't ask anything the whole time.

Rebecca finished her dinner and just went back to the room without saying anything.

She rested on the bed back and tears started coming out without stopping again.

Her hand gently touched her abdomen.

Will she be cruel to her own child and flash?

Her eyes turned red while sobbing became hard. The more she thought about the baby, the more she felt guilty in her own eyes.

She never imagined and thought about what it would feel like to be a mother.

But now she's pregnant. She couldn't believe there was a baby inside her belly who is growing every second.

Every portion she eats. It's going to be her child's food. That's the only reason she came out to eat dinner or else she didn't find herself eating anything.
