"Miss Rebecca Wilson!" The recipients announced her name.

"It's me!" Rebecca stood up from her place.

"Mam, you can go now!" She pointed towards the doctor's cabin.

"Thank you!" Rebecca nodded with a generous smile before moving towards the cabin and knocking on the door.

She stood a few seconds before finally getting a signal from inside to come in.

She opens the door using the knob and enters before closing the door behind.

The doctor was already looking at her with a gentle smile.

"Hello, Doctor!" Rebecca greeted her.

"Hello Miss Rebecca, please take your seat!"

She came in front of her desk and then sat on the chair across from her.

"So, Miss Rebecca, How can I help you?" The doctor asked while crossing her fingers and looked at her with a calm expression.

"Doctor, I've been feeling a bit weird for a few days."

"Like what?" The doctor asked.

"I've been having bad cramps in my abdomen for a few days while throwing up whatever I eat!" Rebecca explained.

"Do you feel any other symptoms?" She inquired.

"I feel tired after doing small house chores and these days I'm sleeping more than before."

"I don't have an appetite and whenever I eat I just feel like throwing up!"

"My back also hurts sometimes while my chest becomes sore!" After telling about all the symptoms. She felt silent and waited for the doctor's response.

The doctor heard her seriously and then told her to forward her wrist.

Rebecca did as she was told to do.

The doctor checks her pulse and finally comes to a conclusion.

"Miss Rebecca, you're pregnant! Congratulations!" The doctor warmly smiled.

But hearing her words, Rebecca's heart falls.

Her eyelashes trembled with distress while she couldn't believe what she just heard.

"D..Doc...Doctor..r how..how could I be pr...preg…?" Her voice was completely shaking. She could not utter a single word perfectly. Her mind is full of chaos like someone pushed her from a high bridge and she couldn't breathe now while her body temperature was falling down.

She's feeling like her world is just collapsing in front of her.

Her reaction did not go unnoticed by the doctor.

"Miss Rebecca, are you alright? Please try to be calm!" The doctor stood up from her place and tried to rub her back lightly to give her some comfort.

"Miss Rebecca, are you single?" The doctor already calculated everything to see her reaction.

As a doctor, she meets many patients like her on her usual days.

Rebecca looked at her and didn't know what to say anymore. But in the end, she lightly nodded.

The doctor sighed and now understands why she's not glad to hear about the pregnancy news.

After seeing her getting calm, the doctor went to her chair and opened one of the drawers, and took out the pregnancy kit.

Rebecca's eyes moved to look at the doctor's hands which were carrying the pregnancy kit.

She's a woman and understands very well what that is.

"I understand this is shocking news for you but for conforming, just use this! For reassurance 100% you should use this! " The doctor put the kit in front of her.

Rebecca's eyes tear already on the edge to come out but she tries to not cry.

Her fingers trembled to grab the kit and when she held it in her palm. She felt her heartbeat increase rapidly with fear. Fear of it going to be positive and everything becomes messed up.

She stood from her chair while the doctor pointed towards a private washroom where she could check and then show the result instantly.

Rebecca went to the washroom with a pale expression.

A few minutes later she came out with a pregnancy kit in her fragile hand. Her heart was thumping while her hands were sweating.

The doctor took the pregnancy kit and waited for the lines to show and declared the result to her.

If it's one it's negative and if it's two then it's positive.

Rebecca's eyes also looked in the kit's direction while her whole body shivered in nervousness.

A few seconds later the first red line showed on it. Rebecca blinked her eyes with anxiety.

Her heart thumping like it's going to blow up.

She's not ready for this scenario. No! Not at all!

She closed her eyes feeling lost when the doctor's voice echoed in her ears.

"Miss Rebecca, it's positive!" The doctor announced while she opened her eyes with shock and looked at the kit where two red lines were now showing.

Yes, she's pregnant now. There is no more she alone but there is a small baby already implanted himself inside her abdomen. There are two heartbeats now, not one.

If the situation were different. She would be too happy to know that but the reality is cruel. She's not capable of this child.

She repeated every detail related to that night and about that man. And the next moment, hot tears rolled down on her cheeks.

She became stiff in her place while her finger by itself moved to the chain which is on her neck. It's slim and long and no one knows it carries a ring from that stranger man.

She's pregnant but what about the man? What a shame she even didn't know his face?

That's too cruel for her. He left her the next morning. It means he doesn't need her!

How will she survive alone in this cruel world?

Many unimaginable thoughts started to capture her thoughts which made her vision blur and breathe hard.

Before she could sense the changes, she started to lose consciousness but before she could completely lose it the doctor helped her and let her sit on the couch comfortably.

Her body is too weak to digest this big news for now.

Her mind still refused to accept the truth which made her panicked and she lost consciousness.

The doctor checked her blood pressure and told her to take less stress.

Being stressed is not going to help her with the present situation.

She needs to calm down and take a good rest not only for her health but for her unborn child also.
