“Sam, I’m scared.” Julia’s tone filled with worry.

“Stop thinking negatively, Julia. She would be fine. Just think positive.” He tried to give her assurance.

After a few more minutes of driving, they finally reached the home. Julia instantly gets off the car while he follows her behind.

After taking the elevator, when they arrive in front of the apartment. She knocked on the door, and to her surprise, the door opened automatically with one push.

They both looked at each other with a profoundly suspicious look as they entered together and felt shaken to see the view inside.

The whole place was in a mess, many things smashed on the floor.

T.V was on at high volume. Looking at the places anyone could think of, there was a big fight that happened before they arrived. This scene petrified them to think about Rebecca and her baby’s safety.

“Rebecca!” Julia almost felt shocked and tripped on her leg, however, Sam held her at the right time, “Julia.”.

Edwin’s car stopped in front of the building when he noticed Sam’s car already parked there. He moved faster to get off the car and walk towards the building direction.

When the elevator opened to her floor, Edwin came out from the elevator and found Sam on the phone. From his direction, he could not see his expression, so he walked toward him in a rush manner.

However, before he called him and asked about Rebecca, he heard him saying ambulance on the phone which made him stunned, paused in his spot with a terrified expression.

“Hello, please send the ambulance! There is an emergency1”

“I’ll send the address right now, please be fast.” His nervous and rapid tone gave him so much anxiety.

Heard Sam’s words, Edwin almost tripped but manages to stand still, “Ambulance?” He was almost out of breath.

Sam disconnected the call and turned to walk inside to look after Julia. When he found Edwin just standing beside him with a dull expression.

“Boss…”

Edwin walked towards him and held his shoulders angrily, “Sam, what do you mean by ambulance? For whom are you calling that?” he yelled in an angry tone.

Sam clenched his fist and tried to adjust his wavy tone, “Boss…”

However, before he could speak, Edwin asked further impatiently.

“Is Rebecca fine? Did something happen to her or baby?” His body almost shook to ask him that. But he was too scared at this moment. He hoped no accident happened to them.

Sam's lips pressed tightly to feel speechless to answer his question.

Not getting a response, he gritted his teeth and shouted in h thunderous tone, “Fuck off! With your silence!”

“Tell me! Sam! Is she fine or not!” He shook his shoulder in frustration.

Sam looked at the floor feeling guilty and finally opened his mouth to speak, “Boss, She is…”

‘Forget it! I’ll see her myself!” He declared getting impatient and walked towards her apartment direction. Sam silently watched him go and felt helpless.

When he entered the home, his eyes were winded with shock as he looked around the whole mess. He was paused in his spot while his mind filled with so many negative thoughts.

He slowly take steps inside when he heard someone's sobbing voice, he walked in the voice direction and found Julia crying as she was talking with someone on her phone.

“Mom, it’s my fault!”

“I should not leave her…”

“Or else, she was never missing…Everything in the house was a mess. Mom, I'm so scared. I hope nothing happened to her. What if someone kidnapped her?”

Edwin halted in his step and bump into the table behind him which is just beside the door, to hear Rebecca is missing from the house.

“She is missing?” He mumbled with a terrifying feeling. His breath almost sucked at this moment.

While noticing a sound coming from behind, Julia turned and saw Edwin.

“Mr. Edwin,” She looked at him and next second told her mother to call her back sometime later.

Edwin could not help but soon approached her in frustration, “Julia, what do you mean? She is not here!” He greeted his teeth in anger. While his eyes look at her with a questioning gaze that feels like ready to destroy everything.

Julia never faced his anger but thinking about Rebecca, her dry eyes again started crying as she spoke between sobs, “I don’t know…But when I and Sam arrived, we saw… everything in the home is in a mess…and she is not anywhere to be found…”

Edwin’s heart tightened.

“We tried to search for her but all we got was her phone on the ground, with a broken screen…”

“And we found our neighbor lady injured, unconscious in the bathroom. Someone locked her inside.” Her voice turned numb and she was almost shaking to speak, all the things felt anxious.

Edwin's eyes turned darker, he clenched his hands tightly to turn into fists while the aura around him turned almost black.

“Where is the lady?” His tone turned icier. No emotion can be seen at this moment.

“She is in Rebecca’s bedroom.” Julia halted and responded.

Edwin's forehead's all lines showed up as he walked towards her bedroom and found many things shattered and broken all over the ground. His heart tightened, as he almost fell unbreathable at this moment.

His eyes glanced at the lady who was on the bed. He walked towards her and watched her just with a single glance while he moved around and found one photo frame beside the bed. He looked at it and picked it up.

The image contains her image with a bright smile. His eyes got moist for a moment but soon he heard an ambulance sound and walked to the window.

Sam was outside and helping men to move faster inside the building.

After a few minutes later the ambulance men get inside the room with Sam and take the lady in the wheelchair to get inside the elevator.

Edwin waited for the ambulance to go and talk to Sam.

“Boss, what should we do now?” Sam asked Edwin who was looking at Rebecca's photo with silent eyes.

“Call the cops and ask them to find her anyhow and ask them to check all cameras inside-outside the building. I want to know who dares to do that behind my back. And call the security guard, I want to see him.” His eyes turned murderous.

Sam understands everything but when he mentions the security guard, he hesitantly responds, “Boss, he was also injured and sent to the hospital.”

Edwin finally looked in his direction with deeply glared eyes, ``What do you mean?”

“Boss, someone attacked him when he went to the restroom and locked him there.”

“I checked on other apartments and found many people are not in the apartments as it's the weekend; many leave the home in the afternoon and evening to go around.”
