“Sis, are you not going to welcome me?”

Nick tries to takes step towards her, which makes Rebecca, who has been in shock until now, finally, broke her silence and walks backward, “Stay away from me.” She pointed her finger at him with a shrinking hand.

However, he chuckled and did not stop walking.

Rebecca can't let him enter inside. So, the next moment she tried to lock the door in his face. But he was fast enough to hold the door to not get close and push it to open up wide for him.

She cannot use so much strength as she fears for the baby's safety, so she lets go of the door and walks back to avoid getting hit.

He has taken this chance to enter inside and laugh arrogantly at her, “Sister, stop playing hide and seek. You cannot hide from me any longer.” His eyes turned dangerous in the last panel.

“You just leave my house, If you want me not to call security or Cop!” She tries to warn him even though her breath has been completely shaking with nervousness. His presence is threatening to her and her baby.

“Is that so?” His smile turned scary and treacherous, “Then why don’t you try that? Now?”

Her forehead lines showed up to his confidence, “What do you mean by say that?”

He did not answer her still, his smile gave her a chilling feeling about that, and then her mind flashes electricity gone incident to widen her eyes with something guess. She looked at him with a wave of anger and asked directly, “Power Off was done by you…it’s you…who did it deliberately. Isn’t it?”

“You guessed right, it was my plan.” He takes steps further while she moves to continue backward with tenseness.

“Nick…I’m warning you to stop there.”

“Oh, sister! I’m too scared!” He tried to act as if he was scared but soon changed his expression to laughing at her words and continued his slow steps to make her more scared, “Why don’t you try to shout and see if anyone can help, Or not?”

Rebecca’s eyelashes flickered to think about building people, she could feel he did something more, she stop on her spot with a bad feeling, “Nick, what the hell you truly did?’ She felt scared for her neighbors in the building.

To which Nick smirked evilly, “Nothing much, I just…” without finishing his words, he moved at light speed and pulled her one hand to go behind to trap and used his palm to press her mouth, so she can not try to shout.

Rebecca was terrified at this moment to watch her trap and recognized he just try to trick her with his words, but now she can’t shout, even if she wants to. Her one hand also holds by him behind her back which cannot move.

“Sister, you are still innocent, do you know that?” he whispered in her ears lightly laughing at last while she tried to release herself from his grip but when it does not work, she used her elbow to hit his stomach with full strength.

“Ah!” Nick’s grip loosened as he held his belly, Rebecca takes this chance to run to her bedroom directly, and she take her phone from the table without even looking at Nick, she all think to call for help.

Going to her bedroom, she tries to lock the door but her hand is shaking with nervousness, and she’s struggling to stay calm and lock it.

When at that exact moment, Nick comes faster to get his hand in between doors to block her and not let her succeed to close the door.

Rebecca with a terrified face tried her best to not care his hand hit with the door and lock above it, but he pushed the door with full strength, making her fall on the floor.

“Stop provoking me, Sister!” He yelled at her and she knew he is losing his mind, so without caring any longer she pressed the one number as an emergency contact which Julia get the call.

Watching her dial the number, he angrily walks to her closer and snatched her phone.

Rebecca just hoped Julia watch her miscall while he throws her phone which fall on the bed missing the floor.

She saw that and tried to walk towards it, however, he angrily blocked her and held her arms to pull her closer to him with a domineering attitude.

“So, are you not going to listen to me without force, huh?” He gritted his teeth, while his eyes turned darker.

She glared at him and yelled, “You are a monster, in the name of a brother!’” she spits on his face.

Nick turned his face but her action made him almost mad as he slapped her with full force to fall over the bed.

“You bitch! Now I’ll show you, what is meant to provoke me!” he fiercely steps towards her.

Rebecca felt burning pain over her cheeks as she tastes the blood coming from her corner mouth, but this time is not for her to suffer, she glanced at her beside where the phone is placed. She immediately takes the phone and presses number two which holds Edwin’s number for an emergency. Julia made her do that for an emergency case after encountering a library incident.

On the other side, catching her again using the phone, he almost loses his mind and forcefully gets closer to her and pulls her hair which makes her let go of the phone and stand back to touch her scalp with pain.

“Enough with gentleness, now be ready to punish.” He creepily stared at her. While at this moment she almost finally verges on crying but did not ready to give up.

She tried to shout even when her face still burning because of his hit, “Help! Help! Help me!”

Before she can shout more, he slapped her again to stop her from yelling, “You bitch! Stop calling for help!” He pulled her hair more mercilessly from another hand at the same moment.

He was on the verge of anger and ready to slap again when he heard someone shout Rebecca’s name from his behind.

“Rebecca!”

He angrily turned and watch the old lady looking at him with a terrifying gaze.

Rebecca also saw the old lady and shouted instantly, “Aunty! Run! And call for help!”

Hearing her the lady immediately turned but Nick holding Rebecca walked in anger while he looked around and soon caught the flower vase to throw at her.

Rebecca’s eyes were terrified, “No, aunty!” before she can ask her to dodge, he throws the vase which hit her back and she fall on the floor hitting her head, and fell unconscious just next moment.
