Saturday Morning

"Are you already leaving?" Rebecca felt surprised to watch Julia already dressed too early in the morning. While she is just waking up.

"Yeah, I just got last night's notification that the train arrival time changed. It's now two hours early. So, I just made all the preparations to leave the house at the right time." Julia responded, placing her small suitcase beside her.

"That's great. Now you can meet them sooner." Rebecca's lips curled up as she felt glad to watch her going.

"Yeah, you are right. I'll be there almost at brunch time." Julia explained with a big smile.

To which she nodded lightly and added up, "That's good, but don't forget to come the next day at the right time. You got your first date after all…"

Rebecca tried to tease her.

"Yes, I remember it. I already notified Sam about my departure and he suggested we can go another week. It's not a big deal."

"He is an understanding person." Rebecca asserted.

"Yes, he is. But I already booked the return ticket for the next afternoon. So, I'll be back."

"So, are you going to surprise him?" Rebecca chuckled.

"Maybe?" Julia playfully smirked.

"Great then." Rebecca went towards her and hugged her while adding, "Hope you enjoy your journey and please give my warm greetings to uncle and aunt."

"Yeah, sure! And you also take care of yourself and don't forget to call me after coming back to check up." Julia hugged her back warmly.

"Don't worry. I'll." Rebecca responded while releasing her from the hug.

"Are you okay to take the heavy suitcase by yourself?" Rebecca asked as she watched Julia struggle to get hold of it.

However, Julia denied it in disagreement.

"No, it's alright. It's not that heavy and doesn't forget it's all heavy for gifts which I purchased in our last shopping trip for mom and dad to take with me on my holidays."

Rebecca chuckled and nodded.

"It's good for you. You don't need to do last-minute shopping before going to meet them."

To which Julia agreed with her words, "Yes, That's true!"

"Alright, enough talking for now. It's time for me to go now." Julia declared before moving towards her and hugging her last time.

"Bye, and take care."

Rebecca warmly welcomed her hug and answered, "You too, and enjoy your day."

Both friends bid goodbye at the door. As Julia rejected the offer to let Rebecca company here to the cab. She told her she should rest as she needs to go to the hospital and it is still early morning.

Rebecca took a quick shower and changed into fresh clothes.

For today's appointment, she chooses to wear a knee-length full-sleeved dress.

Nowadays she likes to wear comfortable dresses more than jeans or other tight stuff. It also made her belly invisible to notice changes.

She looked at herself in the mirror before walking towards her phone.

She scrolls Edwin's name to call him and know his whereabouts. As it's almost time to go out.

However, before she could press the call option. Edwin's call disturbed her.

Her lips curled up as she immediately attended the call.

"Hello," She answered.

While Edwin without greeting asked her directly, "Are you ready Rebecca?"

In response, Rebecca immediately speaks out, "Yes, almost."

"Good, I'm right in front of your building. Please come down." As soon as she heard that she shortly answered, "Oh! Okay. I'm coming."

"Alright."

After the conversation ended she was almost ready to disconnect the call. But soon his voice came from the other side to stop her.

"Rebecca, wait for a second!"

She attaches the phone to her ears again.

"Yes," She gently inquired.

"Don't forget to bring your health reports from the previous appointment." Edwin tried to make her remember.

At this moment, Rebecca could only smile generously, "Yes, I already got everything."

Listening to her, he inhaled heavily which could be heard by her also.

"Alright, I'm waiting for you then." He added.

"Yeah, alright."

Rebecca responded before ending the discussion and went to the couch to take her report bag and last time check on herself in the mirror.

After finding everything is good. She tucks the big report purse into one shoulder and goes to the door to lock it.

When she reached the car side, she saw Edwin standing in front of his car. Leaning on it lightly and checking on his phone.

He is wearing a black shirt and blue jeans while his eyes have black goggles on.

She was a little stunned to watch him in this casual attire and paused on her way to see him carefully.

As it has been a long time since she last watched him casual wear like this. He almost wears all-time office attire so, it has been like an almost sudden surprise. But it's not a work day. He is going to the hospital, so she can guess he just tried to look like a normal guy.

She again started walking while her eyes could not help but admire the man's beauty in front of him. Even in casual clothes, he just matches the model person. All she can say is that no matter what he wore, it turned out to be classy and stylish. Even ripped clothes would look expensive as soon as this man wears them.

"This man is truly incredible." She mumbled to herself not to be heard by him as she is now getting closer and soon he noticed her coming.
