Chapter 193: Chapter 193

"Who had come?" Rebecca asked as she saw Julia coming back after locking the door.

"Our neighbor aunt, she got some law papers to read. So, she asked for help. If I know any lawyer." Julia sat back on the couch as her body almost ached after roaming the whole day shopping. She never thought that going on a date could be this hectic.

"Ohh." She nodded while she put the phone back on the table which was still in her hand after the call conversation.

"So, what did the doctor talk about?" Julia glanced at her before moving her hand to get her phone from the couch seat to order the food for the night's meal.

Hearing her question, she took a deep breath before resting her back head on the couch and feeling comfortable.

"I just missed my second-trimester appointment. That's why she called me to find out the exact reason for being absent."

"Appointment?" Julia stopped scrolling her phone.

"When was that? How did I not remember about it or hear from you?" Julia looked at her with a clueless expression as her forehead showed a visible line at this moment.

She stared at her and responded, "Because it was the same morning when I came back from the hospital."

"So, It was that day!" Julia finally understood.

"Yes, and it anyway slipped from my mind also," she added.

While Julia responded, "It's alright. We can again reschedule your appointment."

However, she shook her head in denial, "No, we don't need to do that anymore."

"But why?" Julia's brows lifted as she stared at her doubtful look.

"Actually, the doctor already rescheduled the appointment and asked me to come this Saturday for a checkup." She clarified.

"That's good then. I'll also go with you." Julia declared while nodding to her.

Listening to her friend's statement, her lips curled up and she confirmed, "Anyway, you are coming with me. The doctor asked me to bring one family member or friend with me this time."

"Got it." Julia smiled and again back to check on her phone to get the food ordered.

At Dinner Time

"Why is the food still not here?"

"Argh!"

"How long is the delivery going to take? Julia, frustrated, looked at her phone to check the delivery boy's location.

"He will arrive. Why don't you just sit? Keep moving from here to there not going to make him fast." Rebecca commented as she watched her strolling around the main door.

"Yeah, I know. But it is almost going to be an hour and now I'm hungry." Julia rubbed her belly to express her situation.

Rebecca sighed and told her, "Still, you should now sit or else you will get more hungry after wasting your energy on walking."

Julia breathed with helplessness before finally coming to the couch and taking a seat on it.

"I hope he will come before I die!" Julia jokingly mumbled which made Rebecca tease her, "Yes, he will. How could he let himself go behind the bar for killing a pretty woman because of his late delivery."

Rebecca tried to pull her legs and could not help herself but laugh at her own words.

"Rebecca!" Julia raised her brows to show anger but soon could not help but crack up on her joke.

When both women were busy laughing, soon the doorbell rang, drawing their attention to look at the door.

"It should be a delivery boy! The food is here!" Julia instantly stood from the couch and clapped her hands with a big brighter smile.

Rebecca could not help but chuckle lightly to see how her friend's face lit up just like a small child knowing food is there.

"Then what are you waiting for? Go and get it? The money is on the table." Hearing her, Julia nods and immediately rushes to get the food.

Rebecca leaned her head backward and thought to rest for a while but was soon interrupted by Julia's phone ringtone.

She turned her headphone direction which is just beside her resting on the couch.

The bright screen shows it was from Julia's mom.

Rebecca talked to her parents many times and they knew about her situation. However, still they never judged her. All they did was talk sweetly and accept her open heart to staying with their daughter without thinking even twice.

She never thought these kinds of people still exist in the world. Kind, humble, beautiful, without any attitude. Julia's family is one of them. Their thoughtful words always made her feel like it was her family also. Most importantly there is respect in their words.

Rebecca shortly picks up the phone to answer it, "Hello, Aunt."

"Oh! Rebecca dear!" Julia's mother replied with a sweet tone.

"Yeah, It's me. Julia is just taking the food delivery. That's why I answered the phone." Rebecca explained.

"It's alright. Tell me, how are you and how's your health?"

"It's good, aunt. Thank you for asking."

"Great to hear that!"

"You should take great care of yourself these days. If you like anything to eat, let me know." She lightly laughed saying that.

While Rebecca agreed with her and continued her talk. She never thought they would not only accept her but also her pregnancy news also.

Just like Julia, her parents are also ready to be foster grandparents for her unborn baby.

In the middle of the conversation, Julia finally showed up with the food delivery bag.

"Who's in the call?" She asked as soon as she saw Rebecca talking on her phone with a great smile.

Rebecca turned to hear Julia's voice.

She saw her and then offered her phone.

"It's your mom." She responded.

"Mom!" Julia's lips curled up. As she immediately rushed to take the phone and sat on the couch to talk.

While Rebecca stood and said, "You talk with an aunt. Until then I'll bring the food on plates."

"Alright!" Julia nodded.

Rebecca took the food bag in her hand and soon went in the kitchen direction.

Julia pressed the phone to her ear and excitedly answered, "Hello! Mom!"
