Rebecca tried to turn back and go toward the library but the man caught her wrist and this time tightly to not let her go by any chance.

Rebecca's heartbeat raced because he got a knife in his hand and if she pushed him again he could injure her and her baby.

"Do you think you can use the same tricks again and again?" He laughed with a creepy smile.

Rebecca tried to release her hand with her free hand. However, it's in vain. His grip is too tight, almost marking her wrist in red.

The drunken man enjoyed her suffering when suddenly the sharp murderous voice came behind the man.

"Leave her hand now!"

Hearing that, the drunken man stopped smiling and turned to look at the voice source. Rebecca also followed the direction and watched Edwin standing there with a cold aura. His eyes almost flamed with rage as his hands tightly turned into fists.

His gaze is so powerful and shows the killing temperament too.

Rebecca was shocked for a moment to see him here. But soon she remembered the library owner's words about last night's person. It means she guessed right.

"Hey man! Just move out! She's mine!" The drunken man shouted.

Hearing him, Edwin's eyes were almost ready to kill him. And he didn't hide his rage at all. In the next moment, he just walked in a fast phase and punched the man in the face so fast that not only the man but Rebecca could not help but feel stunned.

Everything happened so fast and the next moment the man fell to the ground with broken teeth.

"Repeat what you said!" Edwin's body shrieked with anger.

Rebecca, who had already been released from the man's grip, gasped to see blood coming out of the drunken man's mouth. He was coughing blood.

The two boys literally watched this scenario from far and gulped their saliva hard. They are almost there when the man misbehaves with her but they never thought before they could act as a saving boy to get her for them. Someone comes to rescue her before them. Their strategy failed even without trying this time also.

"Dude, let's go for now. The man in the suit looks like her boyfriend. Did you see how his one punch made the man bleeding from the mouth?"

"Yes, you are right. Let's walk for now. We need a better plan."

Hearing his friend, his face frowned, "Are you fucking kidding me?"

"Didn't you see how murderous and powerful that man look and did you see his appearance? I don't think so. It's the right choice anymore." He argued.

However, the other boy glanced at Rebecca and Edwin with evil stares.

"No, I need her. I'll make her in my bed." His friend shook her head in helplessness. He knows, his friend is stubborn.

"Alright, but let's go for now."

Hearing that the other friend finally nodded.

They both flew from there on their bikes.

Hearing bike sounds Edwin glanced in the sound direction and saw two bikes going.

However, soon he moved his gaze to the man who was still on the floor looking miserable.

He started shrieking again with anger, "How dare you to touch her with your filthy hand! Are you bored with your life?" His face looked scary as soon as those words came out of his mouth.

Hearing him, the man almost trembled with fear and anxiety. And soon started talking about forgiveness.

"I'm sorry. Please forgive me. I'll not do that again." His lips shook while blood dripped from the corner.

"Are you?" Edwin roared out before moving to punch again.

This action made the man block his face with his arms while he was almost horrified thinking to get hit again.

However, before the punch landed on him, Rebecca held his arms with both hands and blocked him.

"Edwin stop!"

Edwin coldly glared at her.

"Rebecca released my hand." He warned.

"Edwin, if you hit him more. He will die. Look at him, he can't even take your one punch."

Rebecca's words made Edwin grit his teeth.

While taking this opportunity the drunken man used all his strength to get up and run from there.

Edwin watched that and used his other hand to free himself from Rebecca's arms to get out fast and run behind him.

Rebecca felt anxious to see him running behind the man and she tried to run behind him.

"Edwin, please stop!"

However, Edwin ignored her and walked fast.

He moved a few meters away but a man hid some narrow way and he lost his direction.

"Damn it!" He felt more anger to watch him go.

"Edwin!"

Hearing Rebecca's voice coming from behind he turned and watched her coming running behind him but she looked tired and she was huffing because of the run which she did behind him.

Watching that, he felt nervous and walked back towards her.

"Rebecca!" He touched her shoulders while she was trying to adjust her breath to calm down.

"Rebecca, are you alright?" He asked with concern.

But Rebecca just responded to one word and let her hand on her chest.

"W-Water!" She started to feel unwell and thirsty.

"Water?" He understands and looks around but every shop is closed.

'Damn!' He shouted in his mind.

"Rebecca, let's go first." Hearing him, Rebecca didn't argue and silently followed him.

He makes her seat at the empty table where drunken men are seated every time. But now empty because of Edwin's warning last time.

"You sit here. I'll bring the water." Saying that Edwin soon walked out to get water from his car.

Rebecca already started to feel better when Edwin arrived with water.

"Rebecca, here is the water!" He opens the bottle cap and makes her drink while he holds the bottle for her.

Rebecca silently drinks it. While her eyes glanced at Edwin whose eyes filled with concern and worry for her.

After drinking he sealed the bottle with a cap and looked at her, "Are you feeling alright or we should need to go to the hospital?"

He asked with the same concerned voice.

However, Rebecca shook her head and replied, "No. I'm fine. There is no need to go to see a doctor."

She added.

While Edwin was relieved to hear her. He breathed heavily, feeling easy.

And Rebecca watched how his forehead line faded finally.
