"Rebecca, I'm leaving for the office," Julia shouted to let her hear from her room while she was organizing her purse to get its straps on her one side shoulder. After adjusting her purse, she turned to move towards the door.

However, before she could touch the doorknob, Rebecca's voice interrupted her from behind.

"Wait, Julia!"

Julia turned to look at her and saw her ready in her office attire. Her eyes widened to see her like this and instantly asked.

"Rebecca, are you going to the office?"

Rebecca stared at her friend and gave a small smile before nodding in her reply," Yes."

Julia's lips curled with a bright smile and shortly she moved to give Rebecca a big hug.

"That's great. I hope, now everything turned out to be fine." Julia's words encouraged Rebecca and she hummed in agreement.

"Now, let's go." Julia held her hand while Rebecca felt glad to see at least she got one person around her.

IN-CAB

"So, are you going to talk to him today?" Julia asked her.

Rebecca stared at the outside view before moving her gaze from it to Julia.

"Yes."

Julia could feel her heavy voice and touch her hand to give her assurance.

"Don't worry babes. No matter what happens, always remember you got your soul sister with you." Her words made Rebecca feel warm.

"Yes, I know, Julia. And because of your words, I finally made this decision." Julia nodded to her with a concerned smile.

OFFICE

In the cabin, Edwin was staring at the ultrasound photo of his baby with a heavy heart when suddenly a slow knock on the door disturbed his attention.

He immediately put the photo on one of the files and got composed.

"Come in."

Sam opens the door and comes with big steps.

"Good morning, Boss." He greeted him.

Edwin nodded and asked, "What happened?"

"Boss, our client is already here and now waiting for you in the meeting room," Sam informed him.

"Alright." Edwin nodded to his words and shortly stood from his chair to adjust his suit button and get ready to leave for a meeting.

Sam silently stood there. While Edwin ordered him before leaving the cabin, "Sam, I already signed the flies on my table. Just check the whole report last time, before submitting it to the other party."

Sam glanced at tables full of files before looking back at Edwin's and nodded, "Don't worry, Sir. I'll check everything."

Edwin nodded to his words and immediately moved fast to leave. When on the other side, Sam looked at his back with a heavy sigh. He could see that his boss's mood was not as bad as before. But still, he doesn't know how long it's going to be like this.

The cab stopped in front of the office building.

Julia and Rebecca went to the entrance when Julia stopped her and said, "Babe, don't get nervous in front of Edwin. Just be positive." She looked at her with a serious expression.

Rebecca turned her head and stared at her with a small smile before asserting, "Julia, I'll talk to him after office time will finish, not now. And I'm not nervous, trust me. I know, I got at least you to support me in every situation."

Listening to her, Julia hugged her.

"Rebecca, I'm proud of you for not giving up without trying."

Rebecca gave a hesitant smile. Because in the first place in her heart she doesn't get any hope related to Edwin. How could it not be, it's not a small thing? She's pregnant with the stranger's child. This one line always reminds her of her boundaries. But Julia is also right, she can't just make a result from her thoughts.

Sam did with arranging all the files on the table. When he noticed someone knocking on the door.

He turned to notice Rebecca standing at the door. Seeing her, he felt happy deep inside because her arrival was going to make his boss extremely happy.

"Ohh Miss Rebecca!" He stood from his chair while Rebecca gave him a small smile back in return and came inside the cabin.

"Good morning, Mr.Sam."

"Good morning, too. I'm glad to see you back." After greeting back, he added.

Rebecca nodded as her eyes glanced all over the place and even the corner private room door to find Edwin. But getting no voice from anywhere and seeing Sam alone in Edwin's cabin, she finally raised a question.

"Mr.Sam, Where is Mr.Edwin…? Is he in a private room?" She asked with hesitation.

Sam stared at her and replied instantly with a small smile, "No, Miss Rebecca, the boss is not here. He is in the meeting but soon comes back."

"I'm just here to get the files with me. Now my work is also done, so I'm leaving with them." He pointed to the arranging files.

Rebecca nodded and added, "Mr.Sam, let me help you with the files."

She went to get the files in her hands. But Sam immediately went to the table to stop her. He can't make his future boss's wife do that. Or his boss is going to fire him knowing that.

"Miss Rebecca!" He takes all the files into his hands instantly.

Rebecca stared at him confusingly while he continued, "I can take the files with me, you don't need to do that."

"You just check on the boss's schedule. As it was still not completed by me." He added, at last, not to let her get suspicious of his action.

"Alright," Rebecca agreed with him. Sam sighed in relief and immediately turned to leave with the files.

Rebecca silently watched him leave. But at the door, a small piece of paper fell from the file without even Sam's realization and she also did not notice that.

However, when she left alone, she stared in Edwin's chair and remembered her memories with him.

She stood there for a long moment, before finally making up her mind to go back to her cabin.

But when she went to the door something caught her stare. She looks down to see a piece of paper dropped on the floor and she immediately guessed it fell from the files which Sam took back with him.

She bent to grab that paper, But soon her eyes noticed something beneath it. There is a small-size photo also present.

She also took that photo with the paper and immediately flipped it, only to realize, it was not a photo but an ultrasound of pregnancy.

However, what made her stunned most, was when she stared at the date which is mentioned on the corner with a small-time.

It's her pregnancy ultrasound photo. The date, the time, and the photo almost resemble her pregnancy photos.

She can't be wrong and this bitter realization hit her hard. While soon tears take place in her eyes.
