Yun Xi didn't dwell much on the topic as it was time to feed her little bun. They headed straight to the nursery especially made for the little bun. Mo Shan followed her in with his daughter in his arms.

Yun Xi and Mo Shan would take care of Ray at night. And around 5 in the morning, Mo Shan would take Ray to her grandparent's room. Then, she will spend her morning with her grandparents, while her parents would get the sleep that time.

Yun Xi would already fill the bottle with her milk for the morning period so that Ray would have her food whenever she desired. Father Mo and Mother Mo were also very satisfied with the schedule as they got more time to spend with their granddaughter. Xiao Hui also made a decision to sleep alone so that he doesn't make Yun Xi more tired. Even though Yun Xi rejected the idea, he was adamant on doing that.

Every morning, Mother Mo would massage Ray in the garden and let her bask in the sunlight for a while. During her massage time, every family member would accompany her in the garden.

As for noon, Yun Xi did not have to do anything except for feeding Ray as the baby would mostly be with Mo Shan and Old Master Mo. Old Master Mo and Xiao Hui were like her tail as they would follow her almost everywhere.

One such noon, Elder Ji visited Mo Mansion. He just got to know that Yun Xi has already given birth. He walked in angrily while cursing Old Master Mo under his breath because Old Master Mo was the one who hide the news from him. Old Master Mo knew that his dear friend would visit his great-granddaughter almost every day if he came to know about it. And it meant he would get less time to spend with Ray. So, he had knowingly hidden the news from his friend.

Now that Elder Ji got the news, he hurriedly came to visit Yun Xi and Ray with lots of souvenirs. After getting himself seated comfortably, he didn't forget to complain about Old Master Mo. He controlled himself from swearing only because Ray was there.

Ray was with Old Master Mo, and he was completely ignoring Elder Ji's presence next to him. He was treating Elder Ji as air, as if he didn't hear his complaints and that he was not guilty of doing such things.

Yun Xi was speechless, looking at the two elders sitting in front of her. Did they need to act so childish? Every time she sees them together, they would either be bickering or chiding each other. Take today for example. She did not know what to do, looking at these two elders fighting in front of Ray.

In a relief to Yun Xi, Mo Shan arrived there. He raised his eyebrows at Yun Xi, asking what was happening there. Yun Xi just gave a small smile and shook her head at him, indicating that she did not know.

Mo Shan directly walked to his grandfather and took his daughter from his grandfather's arms. "I don't want my daughter's sleep to be disturbed because of your bickering. If you want to fight, then go outside and fight to your heart's content. But this is impossible in presence of my daughter." He was direct to his point.

Old Master Mo and Elder Ji felt ashamed when they realized that they lost control in presence of a child. After hearing Mo Shan's words, they completely fell silent.

It was Elder Ji who broke the silence. "I will apologize to the baby. Hand her over to me." Everyone knew that he was looking for an excuse to carry the child. Before Old Master Mo could counter him back, Mo Shan had already handed Ray to Elder Ji.

"Oh, so cute." Elder Ji commented as soon as he got Ray. Old Master Mo did not say anything after that as he had praised his great-granddaughter. "Hmph, I will forgive him for this," he told himself.

"What did you name her?" Elder Ji asked again.

"Shexian. The name is given by grandpa. Her nickname is Ray." Yun Xi answered. She did not forget to give credits to Old Master Mo.

"Nice name," Elder Ji said in a low voice.

He spent the whole time together with Ray that noon. He even fed Ray from the bottle. If his family members or subordinates had seen this scene, they would not have believed their eyes. Because the Elder Ji they have seen has always been domineering and strict.

"Oh, I nearly forgot. I have another present for our Ray." Elder Ji said and ordered one of his men who was standing outside, "Bring it in." Mo Shan, Yun Xi, and even Old Master Mo were confused as to what he was referring to.

After a few minutes, what came into their view was a man carrying something in his arms covered with a blanket. Reaching near to them, he spread his arms so that they could see what was in there. The thing inside the blanket melt Yun Xi's heart. It was a puppy, sleeping soundly, a baby husky.

"This is a gift for my Ray. She will have a friend who will grow up with her. It was also born recently and is a boy." Elder Ji explained from the side.

"It's so cute," Yun Xi cooed, raising her hands to carry it. The man gently placed it in her arms and walked out.

"It is. A perfect playmate for our Ray." Elder Ji said, feeling proud of his choice.

"What is his name?" asked Yun Xi.

"He does not have a name yet. You can name him." Elder Ji gave the chance to Yun Xi to name the baby husky.

Yun Xi looked at the husky in her arms who had black and white fur in his body. After thinking for a while, she answered, "Shadow. His name will be shadow."

"Then, the shadow it is." Elder Ji made it final.

Beside them, Old Master Mo's face was turning bad. He was regretting that he did not think of this idea of getting a pet before. Mo Shan was also not that happy with the pet as Yun Xi's all attention would be on Ray and Shadow from then on. And he did not want to divert his wife's attention from himself.

But the grandfather and grandson could do nothing except from regretting.

"Thank you so much, Grandfather Ji." Yun Xi thanked the old man.
