In another city, Mo Shan switched on his mobile phone as soon as he landed. He was surprised by so many missed calls from Butler Li. Feeling confused, he was about to call back when another call came through. It was also from Butler Li.

Frowning to himself, Mo Shan took the call. As soon as he accepted the call, Butler Li's hurried voice came, "Young Master, Young Madam's water broke just now, and we are taking her to the hospital. Please return this instant."

That news came thundering to Mo Shan. He cut the call and shouted, "Assistant Zhang, we are returning. Cancel the meeting." With that, he climbed back onto the plane.

Assistant Zhang was stunned for a second. But realizing that the call was from Butler Li, he could guess that something was wrong in the home, so he gave the commands to flight assistants to fly back. He also informed the branch of Mo Corporation to cancel the meeting.

During the whole flight, Mo Shan was emitting cold vibes and none of the flight assistants dared to come near him. Even Assistant Zhang did not dare to question him as he was afraid that he would become the pot to release all his (Mo Shan's) anger.

Mo Shan did not care about any other things right then. He just wanted to be next to Yun Xi. At that moment, he wished he had a pair of wings and could fly directly to Yun Xi. He was also scolding himself for listening to Yun Xi and coming to this city.

At the hospital, Yun Xi was still strolling around with Mother Mo's support. Sometimes, she would bite her lips and tighten her grip on Mother Mo's hand when she felt contractions. It has been three hours since she started walking. She would take a seat sometimes in between. But, she did not give up.

She was still gripping her cell phone in another hand, waiting for Mo Shan's call which never came. She consoled herself thinking that he was busy or haven't reached there yet, the call will surely come through after a while.

Just then, she heard someone calling her name from behind. It was a familiar voice, and she felt excited as soon as she heard the voice. She turned around excitedly only to find herself drawn into someone's warm embrace. It was none other than her husband whose phone call she was waiting for.

The familiar scent brought tears into her eyes. She hugged him back and cried silently. 6 hours of waiting and finally seeing him made her feel rejuviniated.

Mo Shan also heaved a huge breath of relief when he saw her fine and safe. He kissed her hair and rubbed her back to pacify her.

"What are you doing outside? Shouldn't you be inside the ward or theatre?" he asked.

From the side, Mother Mo said, "Her dilation has not reached 10cm yet. So, the doctor suggested taking some walks to speed up the process. It has been 3 hours already. Take her to check again."

Mo Shan nodded at his mother and took Yun Xi to the doctor.

"It has reached 9cm. I expected it to take more, but you are lucky Mrs. Mo. Let's wait till it reaches 10cm," said the doctor after checking.

This time, she walked around the ward itself instead of going outside. She has already changed into the hospital, so as soon as her dilation reached 10cm, she will be moved to the theatre directly.

After around 30 minutes, the doctor came to check again, and after making sure that it is 10 cm now, they moved her to the theatre. Yun Xi also started to feel frequent contractions in intervals. One of the family members was allowed to go inside, so Mo Shan went in with Yun Xi.

He changed into a hospital scrub inside to accompany Yun Xi.

After bringing inside, Yun Xi was made to sit in a birthing position. Instead of completely lying down, she was made to lean against pillows while opening her legs wide. Her knees were bent with the soles of her feet pressing on the bed.

The doctor also got herself seated below Yun Xi. "Mrs. Mo, push at the peak of contractions. You do not need to push on each contraction. Rest in between, and push again when you feel it is right."

Yun Xi nodded as she had already watched the videos relating to birth, days ago. She had basic knowledge about what to do. Moreover, Mo Shan was by her side.

Mo Shan wiped the sweat from her forehead and gripped her hand tightly while supporting her to sit properly.

Just then, a contraction started, and Yun Xi pushed with every energy she had while biting her lips to avoid screaming. After a few seconds, she released and took quick breaths.

"You are going great. Push for a few more times." The doctor advised.

After getting back her breath, Yun Xi pushed again on contraction.

"Don't bite your lips. Just scream if you are feeling pain. Or, you can bite my arms." Mo Shan said, offering his arm. Yun Xi's lip was already turning red from her continuous biting, and Mo Shan could not see that. So, he offered his hand instead.

And as he said, on the next push, Yun Xi did bite his arm, but Mo Shan did not even flinch.

"You are doing great. I can already see the baby's head. Keep pushing." The doctor shouted. "Nurse, check if the baby is fine," she ordered one of the nurses to check the baby's heartbeat being displayed on the monitor.

"Doctor, the baby has a normal heartbeat. She is fine." The nurse replied.

"Yun Xi, give one more push. You cannot take more time. Otherwise, the baby may suffocate. One more push," the doctor said, guiding Yun Xi's hand downwards to make her feel baby's head. "You can feel it, right? This is your baby. Come, one more push." said the doctor.

Yun Xi was getting tired, but when she felt the baby's head, she suddenly got enormous courage and pushed one last time with everything she got. She fell back on the bed after that, drained of energy.

"Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Mo. You have a daughter." the doctor announced, showing the baby to Yun Xi. Yun Xi's eyes turned misty looking at the wrinkled child in the doctor's embrace. Mo Shan had a proud smile looking at his wife. He leaned down to give her a kiss on the forehead and praised her, "You did great. You are a hero to that little girl."

Then, the doctor handed the baby to the nurse to clean her and check her health.

"Mrs. Mo, you will be taken to your ward right now. As for the baby, she will be brought to you after cleaning her and running some tests on her." The doctor said while cleaning Yun Xi.

Yun Xi was tired and fell asleep by the time she was brought into the ward. Everyone followed her in, except Mother Mo and Father Mo who followed the baby. They didn't want to leave the baby alone as there were many people keeping their eyes on them, wanting to harm their family. Mainly after the incident with Old Madam Mo, they were very careful as the culprit hasn't been found yet.
