In the Mo Corporation, Yun Xi was fretting over meeting Father Mo and Mother Mo. She was not sure of their thoughts regarding her.

Will they regard her as some scheming lady since she married their son in absence of their presence? Will they think of her as a person who was eyeing their money and status? All these thoughts were running in her mind.

After calming herself down, Yun Xi concluded that no matter what they thought of her, she will prove herself. She was confident in clearing herself from all their suspicions.

After designing the set of cufflinks, she began drawing the design for a bracelet. The bracelet was for Mother Mo and herself.

Mo Shan had already returned to his office after informing her about his parents. This made Yun Xi concentrate on her work even more.

Soon, it was lunchtime. But Yun Xi was so engrossed in her work that she didn’t even realize it.

At the same time, Mo Shan kept on checking the time in his office. He was hoping for Yun Xi to call him to have lunch together. But he was bound to be disappointed since Yun Xi didn’t even realize the time.

After getting tired of waiting for a call from her, Mo Shan decided to check on her by himself.

He stood up, walked to Yun Xi's office which was just next to his own, and opened the door.

He wanted to call her but when he saw that Yun Xi was completely engaged in designing, he stopped his words.

Yun Xi did not even realize that someone had entered her cabin.

Mo Shan gently closed the door and walked towards the nearby couch without making any sound. After getting seated, he took out his cell phone and messaged Assistant Zhang to prepare lunch for them, then bring it to Yun Xi's cabin.

Assistant Zhang had already ordered the food because he had an intuition that his boss was going to ask him for it. And his intuition was proven correct.

The lunch delivery arrived quickly. Assistant Zhang took it and walked straight towards Yun Xi’s office.

He was just about to knock on the door when a ‘ding’ sounded from his mobile phone. He paused his action of knocking, instead he took out his mobile to check the notification.

There was actually an incoming message which was from his boss, Mo Shan. Assistant Zhang was confused about why his boss sent a message again but still opened the message content to check.

The message wrote, “Don't knock. Directly come inside. Gently!”

Assistant Zhang became even more confused after reading the message but he still obliged his boss's order. He slowly opened the door and peeked inside.

The sight that greeted him was of Mo Shan staring at Yun Xi and Yun Xi who were oblivious of their presence. He finally got why his boss messaged him.

He slowly walked inside and placed the lunch bag near him, then went outside while closing the door behind him.

Mo Shan glanced at his watch again and realized that it was already 2:30 pm. If it was any other time, he would not have disturbed her but right now she was pregnant. She needed to eat constantly. And, that was what he intended to do- feed her.

He walked towards Yun Xi's chair and snatched the pencil from her hand.

Yun Xi glared at the person who snatched her pencil from her hand. But what she met was Mo Shan’s intense gaze.

She had wanted to scold that daring person but when she met his eyes, no words came out of her mouth. His face was so close to her own that she could feel his breath in her face. He smelt like mint and that warm feeling made Yun Xi blush a little.

She hastily backed away from him and stammered, “Wh… what is it? Wh... What are y.. you doing?”

Mo Shan chortled at her reaction and himself backed away after a while. “Lunchtime”, replied Mo Shan while pointing at the clock hanging in the wall.

Yun Xi finally realized that it was past lunchtime. She was so engrossed in the work that she completely forgot about it.

She hit her forehead and awkwardly smiled at Mo Shan, “Hehe, I completely forgot about lunch”, then hastily added, “What do you want to eat? I will order it for you.”

“No need”, Mo Shan told her.

Yun Xi looked at him confused because he was calling her for lunch. But when she asked him what he wanted to have, he outrightly rejected her.

Mo Shan pointed at a table in front of the couch where he was seating before. Yun Xi followed his hand and saw a lunch box already unpacked on the table. Yun XI was shocked to see the foods already arranged and served.

Yun Xi faced Mo Shan and asked bewildered, “When did you arrange all these?”

Mo Shan took her hand and walked her to the couch, and patiently explained, “When you were working on your designs. At first, I did not want to disturb you, but you are pregnant currently and need a lot of nutrients. So, I made Assistant Zhang arrange it while you were working. The lunch arrived just a while ago.”

Yun Xi looked at Mo Shan with gratitude and thanked him wholeheartedly.

Mo Shan patted her head and replied, “Come one now. How many times will you thank me? This is what I should do as your husband.”

Even though Mo Shan said it like that, Yun Xi was still very grateful towards him. If it was not for him, she did not know where and in which condition she would have been. Not only this, but he also provided her with a family that she always wanted -a caring grandfather, a loving husband, and a cute son.

While they were eating, Mo Shan suddenly asked her a question, “When are you visiting the hospital next for a pre-natal check-up?”

Yun Xi never thought that he would be asking her this question. “When I am in week 4, I will be visiting the gynecologist”, Yun XI instinctively replied.

Mo Shan took out his phone and began typing something on it. Yun Xi curiously peeked at it but what she saw made her surprised. He was actually setting a reminder for her pre-natal check-up.

“What are you doing?” Yun Xi questioned him.

Mo Shan plainly replied, “What about it? I am just planning to go together with my wife for her check-up. Don’t worry, I won’t forget it.”

Yun Xi was stunned. The child in her stomach was not even his but he was gladly willing to spare his precious time for her and her child.

“You don’t need to do this”, Yun Xi spoke.

Mo Shan knitted his eyebrows and asked, “Why not? It’s regarding my wife and my child’s health and you have no right to stop me.” Yun Xi did not realize that Mo Shan’s voice had turned stiffer and colder that moment.

Yun Xi continued, “What I mean is you must have lots of work that day. So, you don’t need to do this. I can go by myself.”

Mo Shan replied in an icy cold voice, “You don’t have to worry about my work. We are going together, and that’s final.”

Yun Xi finally realized that Mo Shan was angry, so she did not provoke him by speaking again.
