Chapter 73: Chapter 73

It’s been three days since that incident happened in the bar that made Tristan involve and after that day, he always hit me just like what Layla said. I don’t know why but he was always in the bar. I thought that he was just there to hang out but Layla said to me that at the time of my off, he was there, waiting for my shift and asking about me. I found it creepy but I did not mind and ignores his presence.

Well, today is the day were the celebration in the bar will commence. After that day, we all gathered at the kitchen hall and sir Gab instructed us about the things that we needed to do. Also, he informed everyone of us about the event since it was plastered on my coworkers face.

They are right about the rumors. Sir Gab have said that the celebration is for welcoming his older brother that was back on the City from Russia. No one dared to ask about his brother’s name when the sir forgot to mention about him. It was evident to their faces the desire to know more about the mysterious brother of our boss.

I know that they were excited since the day has already come. For me, today is nothing special. I’m just thinking that it’s the same usual day of my shift. But honestly, I’m feeling nervous that something special might happen today.

“Will you be late today, miss?” I turned my gaze to Thraia who was standing behind me as I was wearing my flat shoes. She was wearing one of my clothes since it’s too much for her outfit inside this apartment. I remembered how she resisted to wear it.

I nodded, “Yes. I will be late. My workplace will be having a party tonight and I need to be there early for the preparations.”

“Well then, have a good night with there, miss. Please be careful.”

“Yes thank you. Where’s Russiana?” I asked but I was startled when someone wrap her hands around my back.

“I’m here! Why? Will you let me go with you?” Russiana excitedly hissed between my ears that tickles me.

“No, sweety. I already told you, okay? Bar is only for grown-ups.”

“But I’m already a grown up! Right sis Thraia?” my sister then turned her gaze on Thraia, I also look at her reaction. Yes. Russiana started calling Thraia sis a month ago. I’m glad that both of them was getting well. My lips was in awe when Thraia nodded to Russiana’s remarks.

“No sweety. You are not old enough. You need to be an adult so that you can go to the Bar with Ruru, okay?” Russiana gently nodded while biting her lips that makes her adorable, “Come here.”

My little sister then brought her tiny body to mine and hugged her tight while I kissed her forehead.

“Take care of yourself there, Ruru, okay? Rere isn’t here.”

“Yes, I will sweety. What has Reign got to do with this?” I asked Russiana when she mentioned Reign. She cupped my cheeks while staring at me intensely. I chuckled when she tried to act like an adult warning a child.

“Rere was protecting you from dangers so you better protect yourself while he’s not here.”

“Where did you get this information?”

“Rere told me before that he was our guardian and he’s watching us until now. He also said that you are his treasure and I’m your treasure.”

I was stunned but later on, my surprised expression turned into a sweet smile. I never expected that Reign said such words to my little sister. Just what is he thinking? Trying to buy my sister’s approval by his sweet words?

“Affirmative! Ruru will take good care of herself ten times than before, okay?” Russiana nodded and I hugged her again tightly. I rained her with kisses and after, I walk myself out of the apartment. I wasn’t afraid and it’s not a hassle for me anymore leaving my sister alone or to some center since she was left with Thraia.

“I’m so excited!”

“Me too! I can’ believe that a famous mixologist that a landlord of a bar has brother!”

“I wonder what Gab’s brother looks like.”

“Me too! Gab was too hot and the perfect guy for women what more thinking about his older brother!”

“It’s an older man and driving my desire crazily!”

“Here’s your senorita margarita cocktail, ma’am.”

The women who where sitting at the five man table that was rigorously gossiping about our boss’s brother suddenly turned their gaze to me as I placed down the tray with their drinks.

They smiled at me, “You are really beautiful to work as a waitress. I bet you are still a college student. What University are you in?” One of them said while giving me a sweet smile. When I roamed my eyes, all of them was smiling while staring at me.

I give them a stingy smile, “Thank you for that gorgeous ladies but I can’t answer your question.”

“Oh. Is it restricted? I bet you are a scholar? Sure!”

“What else? Beautiful woman like her work for money and most of them are scholars from a known Universities inside Drein City. I bet she’s entering Hightail, Glenmark, or Clark University!” the woman with blond hair stared at me, “Am I right? You are a student from one of those schools?”

I did not answered and just smiled at them, “Thank you so much for attending G and R Bar’s festivity. I will excuse myself for now.”

They nodded their head and I immediately walk out from their sight. When I reached the bar top, I let out a deep sigh.

“Are you okay?” I looked at the source of the voice. It was Fayn, one of my male coworkers. I nodded and lean my back on the top.

“The Bar is too crowded. They are really looking forward to see sir Gab’s brother,” I said in a soft voice.

“Of course. Everyone is excited. Whether it’s coworkers or customers, everyone was excited to see the City’s famous landlord’s brother.”

“By the way, what’s the boss’s surname again?”

“Ja--” Fayn’s words was cut by a loud echo coming from ahead of us. We both turned our gaze in front and saw sir Gab holding a microphone and a wine glass on his hands; he was like cheering for something.

“Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Thank you so much for attending this celebration. I know that everything can’t wait for their eyes to see my brother who left his appearance in mystery but here comes the day of vulgarity!” the crowd yells a loud cheer.

Fayn and I are still standing beside the bar top and when I looked at him, he was saying something but I can’t hear it because of the loud cheer from the crowded bar. His lips was moving and I think he was saying something important that I need to hear.

“Everyone!”

A drumming sound suddenly filled the bar.

“Meet my brother,” then sir Gab paused again and a rolling drum followed and stopped again. But when the drumming music stopped, it was also united with my rushing beating heart, “Reign Jaccobich!”

I feel like my world has stopped spinning when Sir Gab mentioned his brother’s name. I looked at where he was looking to make it clear that what I heard was correct or just the same name of the person I knew but I was stunned on my feet.

I saw him, the man I’ve been waiting for three months walking towards...me? I stiffened even more as he walked straight towards me instead of he was taking sir Gab’s route. My body was electrified when the man wearing a black tuxedo just like our first met stopped walking inches away from me.

His blue eyes were the same as we parted our ways three months ago but his face was a little breaded and he looks more mature. My heart skipped a beat when he take one step at a time to fully reach me.

“I’m back,” Reign said and without any remarks, he claimed my lips in front of a crowded people.
