Chapter 57: Chapter 57

The next day, I woke up at noon. Reign and I did a lot yesterday. We walked on the shore, ocean riding, and went to the top of the island. I didn’t know there was a lighthouse here. I was flustered when I remembered how we did these things while holding each other’s hands like a couple.

I’m currently taking a shower as I can’t stop myself from blushing. I almost screamed with excitement, but I suppressed myself. This is the first time I have felt this way.

While I was shampooing, I couldn’t stop myself from jumping. I know that on my own, I like Reign, and I feel something more than that. I’m new to this, so I don’t know what to do.

I calmed myself, and when I finished soaping all parts of my body, I immediately reached my hand over the spare then placed it on my bare skin to wash my lather-filled body from the soap. Warm water gushing from the spare enveloped my naked body, making me feels good.

As I was washing my body, I can’t help but a scene from the other night keep popping inside my head. I was startled because I didn’t expect it to flash out of a sudden. I was flustered while butterflies circling inside my stomach when the thought of Reign touching my body came in.

I let go of the spare while the lukewarm water was still flowing from it and immediately sat down on the wet floor. I glanced to my side to refresh my thoughts. Even though I can’t see my face, I know I look like a tomato right now!

I don’t dare to look at myself in the mirror placed behind me; it will increase the embarrassment I was currently having. I tried to get that thought out of my head and then reached for the rested spare on the floor.

I finished rinsing my body. When everything is done, and I already cleaned all the parts of my body, I look at the side where the placed towel rack and to my surprise, I can’t find any towel there hanging there!

“Alas, the fool! I left it on the bed,” I said and gently poked myself. As the water dripped from my body onto the floor, I walked towards the bathroom door. I slightly opened the door and peeked my head into the room; I roamed for the towel, and I was right!

I left it resting on the bed. I looked again across the room to see if anyone was there. I was hesitant if I would go out to pick up the towel while my body was uncovered.

What if someone suddenly enters? Reign can come here anytime because I’m in his room. Ever since Sharmon took me and I was saved from her hands, Reign has been putting me sleep next to him. We are sleeping in the same bed for days, and just the thought of it makes my heart furiously beat!

I let out a deep sigh and widened the opening of the bathroom door in front of me. I’m not sure, but I don’t think Reign can catch up with me here, getting the towel while naked.

Reign was not here anymore when I woke up earlier, so he must have gone downstairs, and it’s already noon; he must have taken care of something. I braced myself and immediately walked out of the bathroom.

When I stepped on the dry floor, the cold immediately enveloped my naked body coming from the aircon. I didn’t realize that I also left it open. I walked quickly to the bed while looking at the room’s door; I was nervous that it might suddenly open.

When I got to bed, I reached my hands to take the towel, but I fell because I placed it in the middle part. The size of the bed is too much for my reach! As I reached for the towel, I suddenly stopped when I heard the opening of the door.

I hurriedly lifted my body out of bed but could not leave my position when the door was already wide open. My heart furiously beat as I confronted a pair of blue eyes staring in my direction. It was Reign, and what great timing with this current position!

To my shock, I fell back on the bed as my face slumped on the bedsheet. I was unable to raise my face and remained down. I’m embarrassed! I was naked, and Reign saw me with his own eyes.

The trembling grew in my chest as I heard the door closed and footsteps are walking in my direction. What was Reign’s reaction? I want to look, but I don’t have the courage, especially in this situation, and I have no clothes covering my body!

I was surprised when something landed on my back, “Cover your body and adjust your position lest what else I can do with you seeing naked and in that situation,” Reign said in a soft voice. Is he shy?

“Close your eyes,”

“Why would I need to close my eyes? I already saw you naked before,”

“That didn’t count in the conversation. It happened in the night, so you didn’t see well. Close your eyes,”

“It wasn’t dark. The lamp was open and lighted the two of us,” I didn’t answer because our conversation was nonsense as well as I’m embarrassed! I was flustered when Reign put his hands on my head and then ruffles my hair, “I’m just kidding. You can fix your position. I wasn’t looking,” after Reign said that, I immediately raised my face. His back was facing me as he sat next to my body.

I grabbed the towel on my back and wrapped it around my naked body. Reign covered my butt up to the back of my chest. I don’t know, but it made me happy. I can see how Reign respects me as a woman, and maybe because he genuinely loves me?

Little by little, I was accepting that Reign loves me but, I still have a lot to ask why he took me at such a huge amount and if he already loved me at those times or when I was already on this island?

I was startled when Reign suddenly hugs me from the back. He then rested his chin on my shoulders, making his cheek touch mine. I was flustered, and my heart was racing like in a great marathon. I felt his hands in front, locking me from his embrace.

Only a towel covers my body, and one movement can undress me while our bodies are touching each other. I didn’t move and felt Reign. He let out a sigh, and I think he was frustrated?

I also felt his heart beating so fast on my back. The room was quiet, and I could only hear our breathing. My body was trembling and nervous, but I kept myself from being overwhelmed because Reign will know how I felt. He is too close!

“I’m going to Drein City,” I was distracted by what he said. I suddenly looked at him, and I was surprised when our lips suddenly met. I stared into Reign’s eyes, and they are smiling along with his kissable lips.

I blushed. Reign did it on purpose! “What will you do there?” I asked like he had an obligation to tell me everything. Reign pulled his body away from me; he grabbed me by the shoulder and gently turned to face him. He took the stroke of wet hair blocking my face and pinned it to the side of my ear.

“Headquarters,” he answered sparingly, and I was surprised when he suddenly brought his face close to mine again and kissed the tip of my nose. Just a little more, and I will explode because of his sweetness!

I would have asked about it, but I remembered that Reign delayed his return to the City because I have been poisoned. I didn’t answer because I don’t have the right to stop him, “Don’t worry. I’ll be right back soon as I can,” he then kissed my forehead and parted his lips while putting his hands on my cheeks, “and I will bring something that can enlighten you,” after he said those words, he gives me a tight hug.

Without knowing the reason, I hug him back; tight as I could. I felt like I don’t want him to leave my side. At what he said, it was as if I tried to stop him and tell him to stay by my side. I don’t know, but it makes me sad when Reign said that he would be out to the City.
