Aria

My period is only spotting. I don't know why.

Thankfully, I took care of Lucas for today before he got to work.

I feel like I am going to be sick.

I called Leticia, two rings before she answered.

"Hi, Ari's what's up." She asked happily.

"How are you guys?"

"We are fine. Why did you call? Not that I am being rude." She said with full concern. I know what she meant.

"Yeah, I was spotting and my abdomen yesterday was so painful. Any advice?" I asked.

"Oh, I know those symptoms but I needed to be sure." She said not confusingly but happily like she was tapping her lips by saying that.

I am so confused about her.

"What do you mean? Is it bad?" I asked, panicking.

"No! No! It's good actually. We just need to be sure." She defended.

I sighed in relief. What does she mean she needs to be sure?

"Oh ok."

"Meet us up later. I will be the one to guide you." She said.

"You are pregnant. Mark will not allow you. Just tell me what to do." I said. She is pregnant. I didn't want to stress her out just because of me.

"Don't worry, I will tell Mark, just get ready. I will pick you up. Leave Luke to Rosaline and I will drop off Lily to Mark. " She ordered me.

"Ok, thank you, Leticia."

"Ok, bye." She hangs up.

I called Lucas next to inform him. Three rings before he answered.

"Hello," I whispered

"Hello baby " I heard him cleared his throat.

"Lu...." I heard a voice in the background. It's a girl and a very familiar one.

"Who is that?" I questioned him sternly. A pang of jealousy hit me.

"Nothing baby, what is it?" He said. I could hear the voice that he was angry.

I didn't bother to ask. He might be his P.A. he is stress from work. I don't want to count in.

"Leticia and I are going out later. I will leave Luke to Rosaline. Is that ok?" I asked softly

"Yes, baby where are you going?"

"I don't know also. Leticia just informed me." I said truthfully.

"Ok baby, take care."

"Ok bye, I love you," I said and he hangs up.

I know he loves me but he is just scared for me to hurt him again as Chloe did.

I wonder who is the girl.

'Wake up Aria, Lucas has a P.A, she is that girl probably.' I scolded my mind.

I shook my head getting out of my jealousy thoughts.

"Be good baby, Mommy will be back," I said to Luke and showered kisses on his face.

He giggled and wrapped his arms around my neck.

"Take care of him, Rosaline," I said softly.

"Always."

I got into the car and Leticia gave me a big hug.

"How are you?" She asked happily as she pulled out.

"I am not that in the good state but I can manage," I said and she nodded.

"To the Clinic please." She told her driver.

"Clinic?" I said confusingly.

"Yes, do you vomit?" She asks.

"No.”

We arrived at the clinic.

I just followed her. She was talking to a girl doctor.

"Come on, I will give you some test." The doctor said, looking at me.

I wish I didn’t have any severe sickness.

"Go on, Aria I'll wait here. She is my doctor so no need to worry." Leticia said and gave me an assuring smile.

I nodded hesitantly.

After a while, I took two different tests. We are just waiting for the results to be sure, the doctor said.

Speaking of the doctor, she came out with a smile on her face.

"Congratulations. Mrs.Wighten, You are pregnant," she said in good news.

I froze for a moment. It's like the whole world froze.

I am pregnant and Lucas is the father.

"I knew it!" Leticia squealed in excitement, taking me back to reality.

That’s why she is being in a good mood and no doubt that I am not sick.

I hugged her and tears slipped in my eyes.

"I am pregnant Leticia. I am." My voice in a bare whispered, swallowing the news.

"You are Aria. I am happy for you and Lucas." She said and wiped my tears away.

"I have never imagined this in my life, Leticia. I am so happy." I said with tears of joy.

"Yes, I was like that when I got pregnant with Lily. Congratulations" she explained.

"Yeah, would I be a great mother?" I asked.

"You already prove to Luke. No need to worry. I am here. I am one call away." Leticia is the best.

"I will just recommend you some vitamins and some precautions in your pregnancy." Leticia's doctor said.

Leticia's OB explained to me what I needed to know., like why I was tired, having pain in the abdomen, and also why I have spots it was because I am pregnant, and told me that pregnancy has cravings, I remembered I ate half of the Oreo cake, about hormones, etc and some others.

I am really excited to tell Lucas and see what would be his reaction.

A smile forms on my face. We were on our way home.

"How will I announce to Lucas?" I asked Leticia.

"You are going to surprise him." She said happily, clapping her hands.

I wanted it too.

"Me? Aren't we?"

"You and Luke only, I will just help you design and arrange everything, simple, that's your family time. I won't intrude." She explained.

"Thank you so much Leticia for all," I said with sincerity and hugged her tightly.

We cried again.

"Oh my God. Our pregnancy hormones." We said in unison, wiping our tears.

We talked about the plan tomorrow. She will ask someone to buy balloons and cakes.

I forgot---- she even pays all the expenses in the clinic to make sure that the baby and I are fine. I am very thankful to Leticia. I hope this would end well. I can't wait to see Lucas's reaction.

We agreed that she would not say anything to anyone unless Lucas calls her and informed her. I wanted Lucas to know from me.

I got home and Luke came running to me, he hugged me tightly and never leaves my side, he said he misses me a lot.

My son will have a baby brother or a baby sister even though I will have a baby in my own blood. I will be giving them equal love.
