Chapter 21

Alpha Greyson gave his men many orders, one of which was to fix me. His wardrobe ladies led me into a large room. It's a different room than before, but it's still grand and spacious. The girls planned my outfit and the bathtub where I would bathe.

I closed my eyes tightly as my body was soaked in the bathtub full of petals. This is unbelievable to me right now. I wasn't expecting all of this. My life changed in an instant. This is the one thing I did not expect to happen in my life. This is something I never expected to happen.

The girls were eager to assist me in getting dressed after I finished showering. After that, I looked in the mirror. I'm dressed in a white medieval Victorian off-shoulder gown. My hair was loose, and I had applied a little lip tint to my lips. My face began to change color. My current appearance is very different from what I used to see.

I hoped that somehow...I could equal the girls who could easily get close to Alpha Greyson.

When the bedroom door opened and Alpha Greyson spat out, I stopped staring at myself in the mirror. To give Alpha Greyson some privacy, the girls quickly moved away and left the room. I noticed him surveying my wholeness. My cheeks are starting to warm up. I averted my gaze and stared at the floor.

"I had no idea a fine dress could suit an orphan like you," he sneered. That's when the excitement I was feeling vanished. I'm a complete moron. Why would I think Alpha Greyson would like me with a simple fix? My eyes felt warm. I'm so foolish.

"Anyway, my people are now waiting outside the palace for me to introduce my mate, so prepare for a crowd later, and don't do anything stupid," he warned. I inhaled deeply. I can handle it. I'll get through it.

When I felt him approaching, I looked up. His eyes are usually cold, but the way he approached me made my knees tremble. I was taken aback when he grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to his body. I quickly grabbed his chest to keep our bodies from closing. When I felt his gaze on me, I looked down.

"W-What are you doing?" I inquired, my voice trembling. He gripped my jaw and guided it to his vision. Our gazes locked. With all of his attention now, I'm almost melting.

"I should give my mate a kiss, right?" his tone was playful. I clenched my teeth. I know he's just teasing me. He's not going to stop until I'm hurt!

"W-We should leave right away—"

"No," he interrupted my words and kissed me on the lips. My eyes were wide open, but I couldn't control my body when he bit my lower lip and sucked my lips. My wolf is ecstatic as I touched his lips. I simply closed my eyes and let him kiss me.

My heart was racing, but I couldn't help but feel scared when his kisses became aggressive and hungry. His kisses followed each other. He no longer gives me room to breathe. I tried to push him, but he gripped me tightly. My body moved in closer to him. My chest pressed up against his iron-clad frame!

He groaned and pushed me down the bed!

"Alpha Greyson!" I yelled, but he rushed over and aggressively kissed my lips. I pushed against his chest, but he grabbed my arms and pinned them to the bed! Fear caused tears to well up in my eyes. This time, I believe he has the power to harm me. Fear made my body tremble.

His kisses landed on my neck while his other hand squeezed my boobs beneath my dress. I closed my eyes tightly and stopped anything in me from burning because I was terrified of what Alpha Greyson could do to me.

"Greyson..." I can't stop crying. I felt him come to a halt. When I noticed his eyes on me, I bit my lower lip and turned away. I'm crying now because I'm so embarrassed. I agreed to this situation, but now I'm begging him not to harm me. I feel so pitiful.

Alpha Greyson only said, "Fix yourself," before leaving me in that room. My tears flowed more freely when I was alone. I hugged myself as I sat on the bed. I shut my eyes tightly. I just want to leave and get away from this place, but I can't. I don't have any other options. I don't have anywhere else to go.

I mended myself. I tried hard not to show the tears I had shed earlier. When I was summoned, I followed a guard. We entered a room, and I noticed Alpha Greyson sitting in a large chair, with Beta Miguel next to him.

When Alpha Greyson and I locked gazes, I was chilled. I recall what happened earlier. I gave my curtsy to Alpha Greyson.

"Your Majesty, it's time," Beta Miguel said. Alpha Greyson gave a nod. Beta Miguel carefully placed Alpha Greyson's golden crown on Alpha Greyson's head. I couldn't help but marvel because this was the first time I'd seen the Alpha wear his crown.

"Amara, let's go," Alpha Greyson said, and I quickly nodded and followed. When two guards opened a door, I was astounded by what I saw. It was a massive balcony. When we entered the balcony, I was even more amazed because there were many people below it and in front of the palace waiting for us to come out.

There were a lot of people there, led by Alpha Greyson. Some wolves were staring up at Alpha Greyson and I, who were now standing in front of them.

"Today we gladly introduce the woman ordained by our Moon Goddess to our beloved Alpha king!" began Beta Miguel in a loud voice. Everyone in the room was staring at me. I became even tenser. My entire body is cold. I can feel their gazes at me and some of them don't look good on me.

I know. In the restaurant, I overheard the elderly ladies talking about me. I know almost all of them dislike me, especially now that they know how I look. They're all going to think I'm from the Rema kingdom, just like Joy said.

"Amara Brooks!" Beta Miguel declared. Anyway, even if they don't like me, they must pretend they do. The wolves howled in joy, and the crowd applauded in appreciation for my warm welcome. I know they're only doing this to honor the Alpha king.

Despite my chest being heavy with these events, I bowed my head in gratitude.

"Now that my mate has been declared...I will ensure that the stability, power, and strength of our kingdom become stronger than ever! Expect a greater power that no one has ever seen before! With all the power I have in me, I will make this kingdom the most powerful in this land!" Alpha Greyson said confidently and assertively.

The wolves howled and roared, and the people rejoiced, saying repeatedly, "Long live the Alpha king! Long live the Luna!"

When Alpha Greyson turned to face me, I froze. We both exchanged glances. But I saw the determination in his eyes this time. Right now, I could see how powerful he is as the kingdom's Alpha king.
