Katherine suddenly stood up and went somewhere, instead of answering her question...

"Great. She just walked out on me." Serena whispered to herself.

She was caught by surprise when Katherine came back, and she was carrying a tray of food and a glass of milk.

"You need to have dinner first before I can answer all of your questions."

Serena forced herself to smile, while feeling embarassed.

"T-Thank you." she said.

There was an awkward silence between them while she's eating her sandwich. She realized that she's hungry, and that's why she was able to finish a plate of sandwiches. She also drank a glass of milk in one sitting.

"Good girl. I'm sure Walter and Liam will be relieved once they know you're perfectly alright." Katherine said,while smiling a little.

"Thank you for being here with me, Katherine... But can you tell me what happened to me? All I can remember is-- I was talking to Walter, and then Liam suddenly appeared..." Serena's voice faltered in confusion.

"They both told me that you suddenly fainted...Right there and then. But I can see why you collapsed. You must've been really tensed to see Walter and Liam talking to each other, while keeping your secret affair." Katherine responded, but she was not being sarcastic.

She's just stating the facts.

"It was overwhelming. I didn't know what to do! And I can't believe I did this to them!" Serena said. She wanted to say those words to Elizabeth herself, but well, she's trapped in Elizabeth Montecarlo's body.

"I can imagine it... Anyway, Walter was so worried so he called me. He asked me to take care of you for the meantime since he needs to go on a business trip to London." Katherine spoke again.

"How about Liam? Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking about him just because of our secret relationship but I want to know what did he say after what happened." Serena tried to explain her side.

Katherine gave her a confused look, but she still answered her confused.

"He looks worried, but he didn't say anything. Maybe it's because he wanted to protect your secret."

"So...That's all?" Serena asked again.

"Yes,that was it... But Lizzie, how long are you going to do this? You're hurting them both! If you don't do something to stop this madness, you're going to ruin yourself too!" Katherine lectured her, and it's obvious that she's worried about her friend.

Serena clasped Katherine's hand and gave her a reassuring smile.

"Don't worry, Katherine. I'm planning to end of this. I'm going to clean up all of this mess."

Katherine's brows furrowed, and her facial expression became more serious.

"What are you going to do, Lizzie? I can help you if you want..."

Serena shook her head. She needs to do this on her own. She doesn't need to drag sweet Katherine into Elizabeth's problem. She's innocent, and she doesn't have anything to do about Elizabeth's predicament.

"Are you sure you can do this on your own?" Katherine asked again.

"I'm 100% percent sure. But thank you for supporting my decision,Kathy. It really means a lot." Serena gratefully said.
