Chapter 13: Chapter 13
I wake up and my head is pounding. I let out a small moan, indicating pain. My eyes go in and out of focus as I try to figure out where I am. Nothing I've seen before.
The room is dimly lit, there aren't any windows, the floor and walls are brown and covered in blood. Not mine, I suppose. In front of me there is a door, and the door also doesn't have any windows. I then find out that I'm strapped to a chair in the middle of the room.
My first instinct is to scream. When I do, it's muffled by the rag in my mouth. The rag tastes like salt. I despise salt and I start to gag.
"Ah, I see our guest has awaken!" Michael walks in. I start to shake around, but the hold on my gets tighter.
"Don't move, darling, you'll only make it worse." He whispers into my ears. I want to scream, yell, cry. I'm only capable of crying. So, I go with that.
"Markus! Get in here!"
Markus? He's here?
Markus is a very good-looking man. His defined features and perfected hair, make him practically irresistible. Markus can't be more than three years older than Alpha Hughes. Markus gets close to my face, taking in all of me.
"You're very beautiful. No wonder Jack has you under strict lockdown. Any man would want to get with you." Markus says. I don't take that as a compliment. I just stare him in the eyes.
Right now, I was more confused than ever. "You must be wondering, why we didn't wait the three months, " I looked at him confused.
"well, you see, I changed the game. The new game is we give buddy boy and his bitches three weeks to find you, or we kill you." Michael explains. He cannot do that! I try harder to yell and break free. Nothing works. Markus and Michael laugh at my foolishness. "Calm down, love. We aren't gonna hurt you." Markus then puts the previous cloth out and takes the rag out of my mouth. I lick around my mouth to get moisture and I begin to scream.
"Hush, darling, everything will be fine."
My breathing slows down. My eyes become heavy and my body relaxes in the hard metal chair. It's hard to stay awake, so I don't.

"Where the hell is she!" Alpha Hughes slams his fists into the wall. "I-I don't know. We went off to our lunch break, and the new guards came." Lance explains. Alpha Hughes doesn't believe him. "Get Declan and Bryson in here! Fucking now!" He orders. Out of fright , Dean ran to get them.
Declan and Bryson come back with Lance quickly. "When you went to your shift, was Samantha there?" The two boys exchange confused glances. "Uh, Alpha? We didn't go on our shift." Bryson comments. "Yea! These two guys came up to us and told us that you said they would take over our shift." Declan agrees. Alpha Hughes is furious. "Dammit! You, retards! Have I ever done that before?" Alpha Hughes grabs them both by the neck. They answer no.
Dean and Alpha Hughes all try to figure out where I might be. "She wouldn't just leave, would she?" Dean looks worried. There's a wild look in Alpha Hughes's eyes. The look that says: I'm a crazy killer. "No. She's submissive. That would never happen." Alpha Hughes shakes his head. "All that time she spends with Emily, she could be starting to emulate her actions." Dean tries to rationalize. This makes Alpha more mad.
I opened my eyes and I'm out of breath. How did I see that? I'm pretty sure Alpha Hughes isn't casting a spell on me, like how Michael did. They're trying to find me. They're trying to find me! Please, please, hurry Alpha Hughes, please. Then I drift off to sleep again.
"P-Please, Turner stop!" Genelia cries out in pain after the intense beating her mate gave her. "What did I tell you about talking back to me, Genelia?" Turner attacks her again.
Oh my God. Genelia! She's being abused by her mate. But Genelia said, he is loving and kind. That is not loving and kind! My breathing quickens. I know instantly, I'm having a panic attack.
The walls start to close in and I feel out of my body. I move my legs and my arms, but I don't feel them. I tilt my head to the side and it falls to my shoulder.
I feel like I'm being squeezed. I need help, I need help, I need help. Markus nor Michael will help me. They would probably just make popcorn and enjoy the show. What's wrong with me? Why is this happening? Make it stop!
Soon enough someone walks in and shoots me with Wolves Bane. I fall into a slumber again.
I have a dreamless sleep. I thank the Goddess for that. The girl who shot me is explaining to Markus and Michael what happened. "She was like freaking out! I swear she looked possessed!" She exclaims. Michael looks over at me quickly, then looks back when he realizes I am awake.
"She's awake. What happened?" He asks. All eyes are on me. Well, six eyes are on me.
I explain that it was a panic attack. I did not tell them what triggered it. They could use that to their advantage and found where my mate and the others might be. If they found out where they are, he can kill them. It'll all be my fault.
"Do you know why this happened?" Markus questions. "Why should we care-" Markus cuts the girl off. "Because, Silver, we need to know if we have to shoot her with fucking Wolves Bane every five minutes!" Markus temper comes out. Is Philip the only mellow Hughes Brother?
The girl (who apparently is named, Silver) bows her head. She submits to her superior. Markus looks at me, I whimper. There's a dark look in his eyes. He growls, looks over to the door, back to me, then at the door again. Finally, he leaves. Michael follows behind him. Silver looks up to me. "Samantha? Isn't it?" She wonders. I do not answer her. She's working with them. Why should I give her my time?
Silver moves in closer. "Samantha, you can trust me." She whispers. "No, I cannot! You're trying to kill me! Just leave me alone!" I turn away from her. "Don't be like that! Listen, I can get you out of here." She grabs my attention perfectly. "How?" I lower my voice. "You have to trust me and give me time. You'll see your mate again." Then she leaves.
Why am I having visions like that?
