**Cassie's POV**
And there is only one thing I cannot trust about Kaiden: him and his active desire to mate. It is not as if I hate it; he is a needy type of guy.
We shared the same bathtub, and I was in a position where I sat on his lap while we felt the water on our bodies and the bubbles from the bubble bomb tickling our skin, thus his lips touching my navel.
"Gosh!" I moaned in pleasure as his hand traveled around my body.
He cupped my breast and slowly moved his palm in a circular motion. I bite my lips to stop myself from moaning again. My legs do not know how to move; I felt the pleasure too on that part as he gently massaged my clitoris with his middle finger.

"And you were not moaning last night," he backfired. This man can be annoying at times.
"Oh, fine. Maybe I will cook another set of my lovely pancakes," I said to him with a sinister smile. He looks frightened about what he saw.
"No, I am so sorry! Do not cook those evil pancakes! They came from hell," he said, the same way my brother will tell me. They are all overdramatic. What is wrong with pancakes and a little bit of a twist?
Now I realize that I married a guy with the skill of a low-grade actor. I hope he will stop acting like my brother.
On the other hand, because it is morning and we cannot afford to just lay on our beds doing nothing, no matter how painful my back is right now, I also had a duty to attend. And I must be a good Luna to our pack and, at the same time, a wife for my mate. In the first place, I do not want to call it an obligation or responsibility anymore. This is my fate, a promise, and a Nobel cause. A woman that should always be by his side. It will be my pleasure to be with him, no matter what.
I get up, and I need to go straight to the bathroom. I know that Kaiden cleans me while I am dead asleep, but I am a deeply hygienic type of person.
When I went outside, I felt the heat coming from the sun. It only makes me feel happy because winter feels sad and lonely. Sunshine is what we need to have a pleasant day.
After all, lights wash away the darkness.
I managed to take my things and decided to go to my dad's house.
Dad is still in his usual spot. Sipping his tea, he watched the news on his old television.
"Dad, I'll bring you some lunch and snacks," I greeted him while kissing his cheeks.
"Thanks, Cassie," he said while still focusing on the news.
And now I know why. The report on the news broadcast dealt with a very horrifying matter. Three dead bodies near the mountain had been discovered. The body looks like a victim of wild animals. But there is no such thing as an animal that can brutally kill humans that way.
Only rogues.
It looks like the evil forces are slowly getting their hands on so many matters. They have even affected the human community. They are getting stronger.
"This news is alarming. Rogues are not decreasing. That mere fact is so impossible unless someone leads and controls them," I said out loud.
"The Alpha is creating a group that will investigate this matter. This is classified information that even his family has no idea about. Sadly, anyone can be this pack's enemy. It will be an impossible feat to achieve the fact that we can save lives and at the same time stop the attacks.
"The only way for absolute peace is an absolute solution also. We have to find the mastermind, or this will end up in an ever-ending cycle."
"I would like to help also," I said to my dad.
He shook his head, disagreeing with what I said.
"You have your matters to do, and so do we also. Cassie, you are the sole weakness of the alpha. You know that you can be a two-edged weapon for Kaiden. Either you benefit him, or the enemy will use you. Be careful, and do not do any reckless things. We know how your mind works." Coming from my father! That was so stingy!
"Point taken."
My dad started to talk about the plan three days from now. About the new recruitment for pack warriors and the start of the training.
"Maybe you can train warriors." It is not a secret that you surpass most of the A-class pack warriors that we have. I think it will not be a difficult task."
Well, I love the idea, so why not?
