Constance point of view:

Here I am, signing the contract at the very end. Darren threatened me to the core that I couldn't do anything. He showed me a video where some men pointed a gun at Jocelyn and grandfather and I didn't know when I signed the contract without reading it, I already know what's in there. Kevin stood there with a smirk. He collected the papers, smiling satisfyingly. I have willed all my husband's properties to him. In my husband's will, it stated that I owe all his properties. So I have the right to sign off his properties to anyone.

I have no choice. I can't scream it to the world. If I do, I know that Kevin and Darren will end up in prison but before the police could save Jocelyn and grandfather, their men will kill them. Though Darren and Kevin will be punished for their sins, I will lose two important people in my life.

I have my plans, I will give them everything they want now but I have my plans. I will take back everything from them and then make them pay. But then, they must have released grandfather and Jocelyn.

I wiped my tears, I won't allow myself to be weak in front of them. I won't give them that satisfaction that they have broken me. I need to be strong for a task ahead of me. I will avenge my husband's death, they will pay for killing my husband.

“Now, it is time to sign the marriage papers," Darren said. I glared at him.

“Don't give me that look, sweetheart." His voice is so annoying.

“Why are you doing this? You know that I don't love you and you are still forcing me to marry you," I said in gritted teeth.

“Don't worry sweetheart, you will learn to love me after marriage." He has a dirty smile which irritates me the most. I clenched my fist in anger.

I will play along but I will take back everything and give them the same pain they gave me. I don't even know how Darren found out about the beach house. Had he been keeping an eye on me and my husband? I never thought about it. I never knew that Darren would come back to act like a monster.

I gave Darren one last deadly glare before I signed the marriage papers. I will make sure he regrets marrying me today. I think Darren is obsessed with me, why don't I take that to my advantage. This marriage means nothing to me. It's just my way of playing along to get what I want. Once they release Jocelyn and grandfather, I will end the marriage.

That was it, finally I'm married to Darren and Kevin took everything from me. They released Jocelyn. I got to know about that when her mother called me and said that they found Jocelyn in front of their gate unconscious. Her mother and her brother had been looking for her since yesterday. I told them that I was also looking for her but that was all lies. I was crying all day in my room yesterday, I was in a dilemma. Finally I made my decision. Jocelyn is like a sister to me and I can't lose her, neither do I want to lose grandfather. I signed all the documents today and Darren released Jocelyn.

When Jocelyn's mother told me that they had found Jocelyn, I was happy. I could only smile weakly. After the phone call, I drop my phone and look at Darren.

“What about my grandfather? When are you going to release him?" I asked sternly.

“Calm down sweetheart, your grandfather…. I will not release him."

“What! But that's not the deal!" I grime.

“Do you think I am stupid. I still need something to trap you, to make you dance to our tone and that is to keep your grandfather away. If we release your grandfather, you will not have any reason to do what we want you to do. You will report us to the police. Even though you don't have any evidence, you are clever, you will surely find evidence to use against us. But if we have your grandfather and you find evidence to use against us, I'm sure you won't make the evidence useful. Because I believe you know that If we go to jail, our men will kill your grandfather and both of us will be at loss. He has a sarcastic smirk.

My clenched fist had turned white already. My blood is burning and my face reddening in anger. I never knew that Darren is so intelligent, he knew my plans and now I'm stuck. What will I do? Oh! God, I can't do anything. If I do anything stupid, my grandfather will die.

I was trying so hard not to release the tears that were threatening to fall off my eyes but at the very end I couldn't hold it back. I can't help but think that all these are my faults. If I didn't allow Darren into my life and let him ruin it, I wouldn't be in this mess. The private investigator is dead. They killed him. Even if he's alive and gathers the evidence against Kevin. My hands are still tied to doing anything.

“Constance, please don't cry. I don't like seeing your tears.' Darren's voice is soft as he closes the distance between us. He uses his thumb to wipe the tears on my face. I feel disgusted as his thumb runs through my cheeks but I need to be calm. The only option I have now is to make Darren trust me. Darren loves me, I can use that to my advantage.

“I'm sorry Constance, I'm sorry that I'm hurting you. I don't want to keep your grandfather away from you but that's the only way to make you mine. You don't have to worry, your grandfather is getting the treatment he deserves, he won't die. After what I did to you, I know that you will never want me in your life again. Not even as a friend. That was why I stayed away for many months. I have been watching you from afar and I saw how the relationship between you and your husband was blossoming. I know there's no way you would accept me if your husband is still there with you. That was why I killed him. I love you so much. I wanted to be patient and wait until you love me back but I found out that you can't love me back, you only think of that man and I had to get rid of him.

“He hurts you but you still think about him. I was the one with you all those while you were hurting but you never looked at me, you still think about him!" He hollers the last sentence and I can feel the disdain in his words. Why is he acting as if he wasn't part of that pain? He was the one that made my husband not to come to my birthday party by using Shantel. I was greatly hurt and he pretended to care for me whereas he was the one that caused the pain.

“When I confessed my love to you. You rejected me, I laughed making you think that I wasn't serious. I saw that you will never look at me, you will always look at your husband. Everyday my love keeps growing, my desire to have you keeps growing. I couldn't control myself anymore, that was why I tried to rape you. That bastard of your husband didn't even give me the chance, I hate him and I am glad that I finally killed him." He cupped my cheeks as his eyes stared deeply into mine. I'm trying all my best to control my anger right now. I have a plan and I shouldn't mess it up. He kissed my forehead and I clenched my fist, holding back the anger with all my strength. “And now, you will be mine forever. I will treat you well Constance and if you fall in love with me, I will release your grandfather. We are now a married couple, we are going to have lots of children and we will be happy."

He hugged me and planted little kisses on my neck.

'Calm down Constance, you need to play along. You heard what he said. If you fall in love with him, he's going to release grandfather,' I said to myself and that is kind of helping me.

I know that I will never fall in love with Darren. In fact I want to rip off his head but I need to be patient. I will have to make him believe that I love him and make him trust me. After that he will release grandfather and I must have gathered enough evidence to use against him and Kevin. Then I will make them pay. I am going to rip him apart for killing my husband! I don't know how I can keep to this plan. It's the hardest thing to do. How can I pretend to love the man that killed my husband but I have to try my best. I will have to control my anger and keep up to my plan.

I packed my bags and left with Darren to his apartment. I have been avoiding the reporters ever since news of my husband's death began to circulate. Everyone wants to know how I'm feeling. I really want to use that opportunity and tell the world who killed my husband but I don't want to lose my grandfather and also, I can't accuse someone if I don't have any evidence.

I told Darren to keep our relationship a secret and I was glad when he accepted. I told him that I need time to fall in love with him and he should prove to me that he deserves my love. I told him that until I fall for him, we shouldn't consummate our marriage. He didn't say anything about that part but I hope that he will compromise.

When I went to the mansion to get some of my things. I saw Ryan's mother crying.

She's crying because grandfather is nowhere to be found. She called Ryan who is out of the country but he wasn't that bothered. She said that Ryan is like a living corpse. The idiot of her son was the one that hurt Hannah. Hannah left and now he wants her back. Of course Hannah won't easily forgive him and she believes that her son deserves it. He hurt Hannah a lot and doesn't deserve to earn her forgiveness. Even though she wants Hannah to forgive her son and become the daughters-in-law of this household, she will still respect Hannah's decision in the end.

She said that the police are not doing anything to find grandfather. They were being reluctant with the kidnapping stuff.

“I don't know how father was kidnapped in such a big hospital with tight security. I will definitely sue that hospital, they must provide my father. Father is sick, which bastard could have the heart to kidnap him. What if, what if he dies… oh! God," she cried.

The only thing I could do was to draw her close to myself as I console her. How can I tell her that Kevin and Darren were the ones that kidnapped grandfather.

I need to act fast, I don't know where Kevin and Darren kept grandfather. I'm scared that he might die though Darren said he's receiving his treatment, I still can't help but worry.

Ryan's mother was about my husband's death. Melinda and Kevin's mother seemed happy that my husband is dead. Just like Ryan's mother, I'm confused on how Darren and Kevin managed to kidnap grandfather from the hospital.
