Jace had earlier told Victor to make arrangements in a seven star hotel. He has a big surprise for his wife, he really wants to make up for a lot though he knows that this surprise he's preparing for her won't be enough to make up for all the pains he caused her but he also believes that it will go a long way.

He doesn't know much about this stuff so he asked Victor who at least has a little knowledge of it. Victor's elder brother is married and Victor said that he often sees his brother arrange such a surprise gift for his wife.

After receiving Victor's call about everything being ready. He called his wife and told her to be ready, Victor will come pick her up and drive her straight to the avenue.

Jace wants nothing from now on but to make his wife happy, she deserves it. He wants her to understand and believe that he was sincere when he told her that he loves her. He loves her so much and will never hurt her again.

On the other side of the line, Constance was filled with joy but she constrained it. After dropping her phone, she turned towards Hannah who was smiling at her. She told Hannah about the surprise her husband has for her, she believes it must be a surprise dinner. Hannah volunteers to dress her up to look stunning.

After dolling her up. Constance stood up and as always she looked beautiful and elegant.

“You are so beautiful!" Hannah giggles and gives her a small hug. She reciprocates and after that, she walks out from the room with Hannah. She saw that even though Hannah tried to appear happy, she's deeply hurting inside. It hurts her too, she doesn't like seeing Hannah hurting.

She wanted to ask Hannah what is causing her pain but she decided against it. If she comes back, she will definitely ask her. She hopes that Hannah will open up and share her pains with her.

Something tells her that this has to do with Ryan. It looks like Ryan is hurting Hannah a lot but on the other hand, she hopes it's not. Hannah deserves the best, she deserves happiness. Constance could see how much Hannah loves Ryan and she hopes Ryan is not hurting her because she knows how much it hurts when someone you love hurts you.

When she was outside the mansion, a beautiful luxurious car was already waiting there for her.

The car door was opened for her, she stepped in, not forgetting to bid Hannah goodbye.

Once she was out of sight, Hannah didn't know when a tear fell off her eyes. She quickly wiped it away and put on a smile which is clearly a painful smile. She was wishing when Ryan would ever treat her like the way Jace is treating Constance.

Yes, Jace was an asshole but he has changed. It's barely one year in their marriage but he has changed and learned to love Constance. But she has stayed years with Ryan, still Ryan couldn't learn to love her. Maybe she's at fault. Yes, it's her fault. She was the stupid one that allowed love to take away all her senses making her not to think like a normal human being.

She's a woman and she's not getting younger. Women don't have much time but she has been wasting her time on a man that will never love her. She thought that he could change, she thought that she could change him but she was lying to herself.

She can't continue living this way, she's fed up. She deserves better and she must get it. Ryan has always wanted her out of his life despite everything she has done for him. She's a fool, a big fool in all these years but it's going to end now. She learned the hard way…. We can't force love.

It wasn't Ryan's fault, it's all her fault. He has already told her that he doesn't love her and won't marry her but she was blinded by love to even listen to him.

She remembered how it all started, she was Ryan's good friend. She loves him more than as a friend and then one day, Ryan's late father got them engaged. She had thought that Ryan felt the same way as her but she was lying to herself. The love she has for Ryan has consumed all her being and she didn't notice that Ryan didn't feel the same way as she felt for him.

After the engagement, they were asked to spend more time together, not as friends but as couples. When they feel much comfortable with each other, they can get married.

And for years, they were trying to get comfortable with each other. After the death of Ryan's father, Ryan was able to tell her how he feels about all these marriage things. Hannah believed that she was stupid, she should have listened to him but she kept lying to herself that one day, he will learn to love her. It's been more than five years already since they were engaged to each other and nothing had happened, Ryan was still the same.

Hannah had thought it through, it's time to give Ryan the freedom he has always wanted. What the fuck! He had the freedom since she can remember. He always messes around. The freedom she will give him is the freedom of allowing him to bring into this mansion any girl that he wants. Hannah believes she's the one stopping him from doing so. His mother will never allow him to bring another woman into the mansion if he's still engaged to her.

Hannah had already told Ryan's mother her decision to break the engagement between her and Ryan. His mother was not pleased. She likes Hannah and wants Hannah to be her daughter in-law but her stupid son has ruined it.

She was one of the reasons Hannah hasn't broken this engagement and held on till now. Hannah has already got do attached to Ryan's mother and his grandfather. She has taken them as her family so it was so difficult for her to leave the family. But she will leave, she can no longer bear the pain.

Since she has told Ryan's mother, it is time to tell his grandfather and later she will tell Constance. These are the people that have loved her genuinely in this household. She wanted to tell Constance a moment ago but she decided against it. She knows that Constance loves her. Constance will definitely be sad if she tells her about her breaking the engagement and leaving the mansion so she didn't tell her. Tonight is not the best moment to tell Constance. She doesn't want her to be sad on a day her husband wants to make special for her.

Hannah walked back into the mansion and headed towards Mr. Williams' library room. She knows he must be there, Mr. Williams loves reading. When she arrived there, she knocked gently on the brown door and then Mr. Williams' voice ushered her in.

She gently twisted the door knob and flapped the door open as she walked in.

Good evening, grandfather, she called with a bright smile as she took her seat opposite Mr. Williams who smiled and reciprocated to the greeting.

Mr. Williams stares at the young lady who's trying to hide her feelings through those faux smiles. Ryan's mother, Margret had already told him everything. Margret actually wanted Hannah to be the one that will tell Mr. Williams about her decision to break the engagement but Margret couldn't help her feelings. She loves Hannah so much and wants her to be her daughter in-law. She couldn't hide her tears and even argued with her son. Mr. Williams saw her distressed state and asked her questions which eventually led to her telling Mr. Williams Hannah's decision.

Mr. Williams knows that Hannah trying to break the engagement is all Ryan's fault. Mr. Williams doesn't know why his grandchildren are this way. He was glad that Jace had finally accepted Constance and wanted the same for Hannah. Jace is stubborn but it looks like Ryan is more stubborn.

Hannah suddenly becomes nervous, she doesn't know how to tell Mr. Williams that she wants to break the engagement. This was the same way she felt when she was about telling Margret her decision. She knows how much Margret and Mr. Williams loves her and how sad they will feel over her decision.

“Hannah, my dear, do you want to say something to me?" Although Mr. Williams knows the reason that she's here, he still wants her to say it herself.

“Grandfather…. I…. Want to break my engagement with Ryan. I… I can't take it anymore." Hannah broke into tears. Why does it hurt so much?

Mr. Williams felt his heart shattering, he never likes seeing Hannah hurt. He loves her as if she's his granddaughter. He stood up and walked to her as he pulled her into a hug.

“Is okay my dear. I know what you are going through. Though I've already learned to love you and want you to be my daughter in-law, I know that it's not in my power to do so. Even if I force you to marry Ryan, I'm sure you will never be happy in the marriage and I don't want that. I want your happiness. If my grandson can't give it to you, I'm sure someone else can give it to you. I pray that you will find the happiness and love you deserve dear."

Hearing Mr. Williams' words, Hannah cried the more. She really wants to be part of this family.

As if sensing what's in her mind. Mr. Williams said, “Even if you are not married to Ryan, you are still part of this family my dear. You are always welcome to visit."

“Thank you grandfather." Hannah released more tears. Yes, even if Ryan doesn't marry her. She's still part of this family. She's still Mr. Williams' granddaughter and Monica's daughter. This family will always be her family.
