Chapter 75: Chapter 75

Imogen passed by Emma's room and she kept on being busy on her phone. She heard Emma screaming and knocking on the door as if she was a mad woman.

"Emma? Why are you making so much noise?" Imogen was shocked at behavior. She never knew Emma as someone who would act like she had no manners, Well she would but not in that way.

"Imogen, please open the door for me. I think someone accidentally locked it from outside and I need to go somewhere now" Emma was in a hurry.

She made it seem like she didn't know who locked it and why they locked it, she just wanted to trick Imogen into opening the door.

"Oh, just hang on '' Imogen placed her hand on the door handle and shook it vigorously, but it didn't open. She searched around for the key and couldn't find it, it was meant to be on the door so where could it have gone.

"Emma, I think the person took the key. Who locked you in here anyways?" Imogen was already frustrated while trying to open the door.

"Who else, it was Kayden" she murmured beneath her breath, but she was loud enough for Imogen to hear her.

Immediately, Imogen released the door handle and refused to have anything to do with Emma, not to hall more of helping her.

"Emma, are you mad? Why didn't you tell me that Kayden had locked you in here?. Do you want to get me into trouble as well!" Imogen was furious, and she raised her voice at Emma.

She knew what would happen if Kayden is to find out that she released his prisoner then he will surely have her head chopped off.

"Imogen, you are scared for nothing. Just open the door please, I promise he will not find out. I am not going to tell him anything" Emma tried to plead with Imogen for the first time in her lif, but the result she received was alarming.

It was alarming because before Imogen could say anything, her phone rang.

"Hello" she picked up the call at once and moved far away from the room.

"My princess, we have her but we don't know what to do with her . We have left her in the room long enough, should we k*ll her" a deep voice spoke over the phone.

With the phone still on her ear, Imogen looked back to check if anyone was eavesdropping on her conversation over the phone.

Of course, it would be impossible for anyone to hear what the other person is saying, she just needed to be sure.

"No, don't k*ll her. I desire to punish her myself, just keep her locked up there for me. I am on my way now" she quickly ran out, with the car keys in her hand.

She didn't even bother to carry her bag or dress up like she normally did.

Kayden's POV

Imogen, you have just dug a big hole for yourself. I know how many times I asked you if you had anything to do with Heaven's disappearance, but you kept on denying it.

I don't think anything or anyone will be able to save you from my wrath today. I kept on nodding my head sideways and kept on thinking to myself.

"Come here, make sure Imogen's car tires are flat" I dragged one of the guards.

"But my prince.." he wanted to argue, but I glared at him and he ran off immediately to follow my instructions.

It didn't take too long for Imogen to rush upstairs to get the keys to another car.

I had already waited for her outside the castle, I didn't want to follow her using my car. She would know that I was on her tail and try to act smart She might even try to hurt Heaven.

I watched as she drove out of the castle, and I was lucky enough to get a taxi. I could never have imagined that I would one day board a taxi in my life, all because of Imogen…well she has what's coming for her.

Did I follow her into a hotel…a hotel? She brought my wife to a hotel.

I didn't know how much of it I could take. I felt like walking over to her and smashing her head against a wall.

The way she rushed into the hotel. She didn't even stop at the reception.

"Sir! Sir! Please stop…where are you going?" I ran after her with two guards at the door running after me.

The way I was running so fast, I'm sure they must have suspected that I on my way to go attack someone.

Imogen had barely entered the room when I smashed the door and forced my way in. I saw a girl there, she was tied up and her eyes were blindfolded. Not just that, her face was partially covered as well.

"Heaven?" I rushed after her, unsure of her identity, I began to loosen the ropes used to tie her.

"Kayden? Kayden stop what are you doing?" Imogen rushed out of the bathroom, trying to hold me back but I was too strong for her.

"How dare you try to take Heaven away from me?" I slapped her just across the face, before I removed the mask that she had used to cover Heaven's face.

"What?" I was in total shock.

That girl looked nothing like Heaven. She didn't even have Heaven's color of hair. And I didn't know why I couldn't point out that feature.

''Who is she?" I was already furious and I didn't know why. Maybe it was because of the time I had wasted or maybe I felt pity for the girl.

She seemed to be in a horrible condition and I couldn't even imagine what Heaven must be going through.

"Can you please go away? This has nothing to do with you. She is not your Heaven!!!" Imogen was so furious.

"That doesn't give you the right to keep her locked up in here" I spoke softly, I was feeling remorseful that I slapped her.

" Says a guy that kept his supposed-to-be bride locked up in a room with no concern if she is breathing or not '' she replied to me, with so much force and her anger just couldn't go unnoticed.

"I seriously don't have the time and energy to explain myself to you, but at least she is not tied up. '' I shouted at her.

"If you don't have the time then what are you still doing here? Get out!!!" She scolded me. I looked at the girl and then at Imogen.

"She is coming with me" I made her stand on her feet, not removing the blindfolds. When we got to the gate of the hotel, I waved a taxi and gave him some cash.

"Take her anywhere she wants to go" I ordered him and reminded her to take off the blindfold, before throwing her quickly into the car.

"Kayden, you b*stard!!'' I have never seen Imogen so furious in my entire life and I didn't even care.

"Get in the car, we are going home now," I dragged her into her car and drove off.
