Chapter 80: Chapter 80
Heaven's POV
Kayden!!. I jumped for joy while I ran towards my husband.
"You look very happy" he smiled at me, while he held me in an embrace, pinching my cheeks playfully.
"Yes, I am" I spoke, and before he could reply, I planted a light kiss on his lips.
"And where did you learn that?" He looked at me, with an evil smile on his face.
"Ahh!!" I screamed, when he lifted me from the ground, placing me carefully on the dining table.
"It's going to break '' I was scared that I was going to fall off.
"No, it's not" he smiled, and spread my legs wide apart, before ripping my blouse. Exposing my twins, he stared at them for a while before he placed the tip of his tongue on one of my pecky edges.
"You couldn't even wait one more day, could you?" I spoke in between my moans, as he fondled my bosoms.
"Don't you think I have waited more than enough. I have missed you so much, your scent, your moans, the way your body vibrates beneath mine, everything about you just pulls me closer and closer to you" he pressed his lips against mine, while I relaxed myself on the table.
"You are mine Heaven" he claimed, before he sent his lips down my neck, giving me multiple hickeys.
"Kayden!!!" I called out to him, when he began to fade into darkness.
It was as if my world was coming to an end, I felt very dizzy and to an extent, it felt like I was about to collapse.
I felt a gentle breeze blow against my skin, and I opened my eyes slowly. It was all a dream, he wasn't really here with me.
I wish I didn't wake up from my dream. I wish I had slept forever stuck in the same dream.
I didn't even realize that tears had already started flowing from my eyes, until I felt something wet on my laps.
I raised my head to look at the wall clock, it was just 1am in the morning. I couldn't go back to sleep again. I tried my best to close my eyes, but they just refused to close…
Kayden's POV
I could still hear her moans. I could still feel her shivering beneath me, each time I thought about her, I just felt like holding her and never letting her go.
My bed felt so empty, and I felt like something was missing in my life . A part of me was completely ripped out, and I couldn't comprehend why her absence hurt me this much.
Maybe, she has gotten herself in some kind of trouble again. Or maybe, my imagination is getting the best of me. Was Imogen right about her? Did she just get up and leave me? I did force her into marrying me, and I haven't been playing the role of a good husband. But, I have never hurt her in any way, at least not intentionally.
I stared at the ceiling for so long with many unanswered questions.
Everyone does think of me as a demon, as a heartless being. Could it be that Heaven thinks the same of me, have I been that bad to her?
*****
It was another dreadful morning in the castle, as Kayden couldn't get any sleep. And he wasn't going to let anyone in the castle have their rest as well. At exactly 5 am Kayden decided to raise the thermostat all the way to a hundred degrees, and it was barely even cold.
The heat was unbearable, as everyone began to come out of their rooms.
The sitting room had its light on with Kayden comfortably on the couch.
"What is this madness?" Imogen ran downstairs, nearly tripping on the stairs. Kayden had never seen her sweat so much, and that made him chuckle.
"Madness? All I did was turn up the heat. Imagine what would happen if I decide to cut the electricity" he raised an eyebrow at her.
"Daddy" Imogen rran to King Alex when she saw him.
"Kayden.." Alex tried to speak.
"It would be in your best interest if you don't say my name. I might be forced to set this castle ablaze right now, and trust me you will be the first person I burn in it" Kayden whispered the last part, and Alex swallowed hard immediately.
"She is never going to come back. I don't know why you keep punishing us because she left you. She said you are a beast, a demon and she was f*king right about you!!!" Imogen yelled, stomping her feet on the ground, without even stopping for once to think about the consequences of her words and actions.
Kayden paused in his movements, and slowly turned around to look at her, clenching his fist, and holding himself back from strangling life out of her.
Kayden didn't say anything to her, he wasn't even standing close to her, yet her legs were shaking. She looked at him, her eyes begging for mercy while her lips are unable to make any more sounds.
After staring at her for ten seconds, which felt like ten hours to Imogen. He looked away and continued to ascend the stairs.
"I got lucky" Alex heard Imogen say beneath her breath before he too decided to retire to his room.
Imogen stood there confused and soaked in her own sweat.
One thing was sure, Kayden was not going to let peace reign in the castle until he found Heaven. This was exactly what Zamiel had been dreading, and it could be the reason he had refused to come out from his room, despite hearing all the commotion that was happening downstairs.
