Heaven's POV

I felt a ray of hope when I saw a manly figure walking towards me. He was the savior I needed just for the moment.

I looked at the guards who held me, and a sudden strength developed in me, as I broke free from their grip, running towards Zamiel.

"Please help me…Kayden…Kayden!!!" I kept on screaming, as I went to hide behind him, holding his hands so tightly.

"Get out!!" He gave his orders and they took a bow before him, and just like that they disappeared.

He was just about to leave, but then I pulled him dragging him towards our room.

"What is it Heaven? What's wrong?" He kept on asking me, but I didn't have an answer.

What was I going to say? I couldn't believe it myself, and the only way to make him believe in me is by showing him.

So I dragged him with me, heading towards Kayden's room.

"Where are you taking me Heaven?" He asked me, and I remained silent.

"What the f*ck!!" He exclaimed when he saw an unconscious Kayden on the bed.

I let go of his hand, running towards Kayden as if I had not seen him for a long time.

I sat on the bed next to his unconscious body, with hot tears flowing down my eyes.

"Zamiel, please do something….please do anything. Save Kayden please.

I don't know what will happen to me, if I lose him" I cried my eyes out, grasping onto Kayden's shirt very tightly. Zamiel stood by the door, only for a few seconds before he left me to be by myself.

" Please open your eyes, please don't do this to me. Don't leave me please" I kept on repeating those words, while I waited for Zamiel to return.

I don't know under what circumstance I got married to this man, but I did know that I was acting like a crazy wife.

Yes, the little time I had spent with this man laying in front of me was enough for me to get attached to him. Do they call this love Or desperation?

Zamiel's POV

"And what do you think you are about to do?" Zamiel heard a voice similar to his, and stopped in his tracks, only to see a mirror image of himself standing in front of him.

"You have been waiting for this opportunity, but you don't have to wait that long anymore. If Kayden dies, she will automatically become yours.

She will fall in love with you while you console her" his reflection spoke to him….more like his twin spoke to him.

"Yes, and then you will lose your cousin. Kayden might be rude, but don't forget he has saved your life so many times.

He has saved you from embarrassment as well, he is still your brother" another image of him talked, walking towards him coming from his right.

"Do it, let him die and have his wife. Those times he saved you, were all in the past, those times are gone. But, you know what isn't going anywhere anytime soon?" His image from the left asked him.

"Heaven" he didn't wait for a reply from Zamiel as he answered the question himself.

"Zamiel, he is telling you the wrong thing. Don't become a monster, all because of a woman who you are not sure of your true feelings for her yet '' His right image said in his defense.

"But you know you love her. You think of her more than any other person in this world" His left image spoke, and at the same Zamiel had already decided to return to his room, and wait for Kayden to be pronounced dead.

"You are the only one that can save Kayden…please I can't leave without him. Save Kayden '' Heaven's words rang a bell in his head. He was so confused at that point.

"What about me Zamiel, have you abandoned me for good?" He saw Hannah in front of him, and at this point. He was also feeling dizzy and felt like collapsing.

Zamiel blocked his ears with his palms, shutting his eyes very tightly, lucky enough for him, no one was around him…..or so he thought.

He was silent and quivering until he felt someone tap him from behind.

"Zamiel, you have to hurry…." He heard Imogen's voice and turned around just to check if she was there.

"Yes yes," he quickly came to his senses, as he rushed to get his car keys.

"Did our marriage contract say you could leave me like this? Because if it did, then I am sure I didn't sign it.

"Kayden wake up…Kayden please" Heaven was still lamenting. Zamiel arrived, seeing the way she was acting broke his heart, and made him feel more awful that he wanted to leave Kayden that way.

Heaven stepped aside on seeing him, she watched as Zamiel and the guards moved Kayden to Zamiel's car.

Just the sight of that alone was enough to make her world crumble, she couldn't imagine what it would be like if anything actually happens to him.

At the hospital

"Can anyone tell me what is wrong with him?" The doctor walked up to Zamiel, Hannah, and Imogen who stood outside the ER, waiting for him.

"Oh yes….I can do that. You see my name is doctor Zamiel, I only brought him here, because I have other important patients to attend to. Do you know I spent 9 years in medical school?" Zamiel introduced himself, sounding sarcastic.

"Zamiel, stop it" Heaven wiped her tears, while she walked up in front of him.

"Doctor, I'm his wife. I don't know what is wrong with him. He just said that he couldn't breathe anymore, and before I knew what was happening he collapsed.

Is my husband going to be okay?" She asked the doctor, still wiping the hot liquid pouring down from her eyes.

"I don't know about that miss. I cannot tell, we couldn't find anything wrong with him.
