Chapter 45: Chapter 45
Kayden's POV
"I cannot believe this. You own an airport?" She looked at me as if she had just seen a ghost.
"Yes," I shrugged, waiting for the pilot to get out of the helicopter.
I wanted to fly it myself, it's been quite a while since I last flew an aircraft.
"You are flying?" She asked me when she noticed that the pilot waved us goodbye.
"Yes, any problem?" I raised an eyebrow at her, she swallowed hard and ran towards the pilot.
"Please fly the helicopter yourself, he….he doesn't know how to do it" she whispered, not knowing that I could hear her.
"He does, he has a certificate. He is a pilot" the pilot smiled and turned to look at me. She had no choice but to walk back to me.
Still standing like a mannequin, I had my hands comfortably in my pocket.
"Close your mouth, I don't want you to swallow a fly" I chuckled, while I dragged her into the helicopter.
She didn't take her eyes off me, not even for a second as I started the engine of the helicopter.
"Kayden stop…ahhh '' she was so scared when the damn thing took off.
"What the heck is wrong with you?" I scolded her, still trying to remain focused.
"I'm scared," she confessed.
"Of heights?" I raised an eyebrow.
"No, of you flying this thing. I don't want to die now, I have my sister and my mom to take care of" she held onto her seat as if the helicopter was shaking.
I knew that I was keeping it steady, but since she was overreacting already. Why not add a little more spice to her day?
"Ahhh!!!! Help!!!" She was shouting, breathing so heavily when I made the helicopter spin. Not an actual spin though….more like a summersault.
"Kayden!!!" She shouted at me, and I got so scared that I nearly let go of the controls.
"Do you want to kill me?" She frowned.
"It depends, do you want to die?" I lowered my eyebrows, with an evil smirk on my face.
"What you are doing is not fair. First, you send the pilot away, and now you want to kill me" she squeezed her face.
"No one wants to kill you, I just need you to feel relaxed, and trust that I know what I am doing" I spoke softly, she looked at me, and after that.
I did not hear another word from her again.
And to be honest, it felt kinda awkward.
Heaven's POV
Thank God! My nightmare was about to come to an end.
"We will be landing soon" Kayden looked down for a second, and then informed me.
In the past 30 minutes, He had been flying this thing. I had not heard any better news.
"And we are landing" he pulled me out of my thoughts, and I felt a heavy wind just above my head.
I looked down only to see the floor.
As if I had been waiting for a hundred years, I jumped down from the helicopter and laid on the floor. K*ssing it, and spreading my hands so widely, as if trying to hug it.
"If you are done playing the damsel in distress.
Can you help me offload the things from the helicopter?" Kayden just had to ruin the moment for me. He just needed to be grateful, that he didn't kill me in the process of bringing me here.
"Hmm…. I'm sorry your highness, but you will have to go through the same process to get back home" he teased me, seriously he just loves to tease me all day long.
I walked towards the helicopter, bringing the stuff out.
"Oh my Gosh!!!" I screamed, just realizing that we were in the middle of nowhere.
When I say in the middle of nowhere, I mean we were outside a cave. A f*cking cave?
"Don't look at me like that" he rolled his eyes, bringing the last bag out of the helicopter.
"It's not what you think okay" he tried to defend himself when I hadn't even asked him anything.
He brought out a stroller, or was it a stretcher…nope, I think it was a stroller.
He brought it out from the helicopter, and stretched it, making it expand.
Initially, it was flattened, but after stretching it, it had wheels. And he put the bags in it.
Rolling it towards the entrance of the cave.
"Aren't you coming?" He asked me when he noticed that I was no longer following him. I stood there like my feet were glued to the floor.
"Going where? There could be bats in there" I was too scared.
"Or…there isn't even a bat in there" he left the stroller, and came behind me, with his hands around my waist.
"Look at me" he placed his cold palms on my face.
"Please" he whispered.
"Do you think I will do anything to hurt you?" He asked me, and I nodded my head.
"Then trust me, princess, just trust me" he licked his lips, and gave me a gentle kiss on the lips. It wasn't as intense as our previous k*sses, but it was just enough to calm my nerves.
We had only taken a few steps when a door blocked our path. It looked like an elevator door, but I doubt it.
"Oh sorry, about that" he went in front of me, and placed his thumb on the door, like a scan or something.
It opened just the way an elevator would, but instead of going up, it went down.
"Kayden" I looked at him, as he held onto my hand.
"Shh..don't be scared my princess" he pressed his lips.
I took a deep breath, trying my best not to be frightened, while I squeezed one of his hands. He held my waist from behind, placing his lips on my neck.
"You…" I couldn't complete my sentence when the elevator opened, and Oh my gosh!!!.
I couldn't hold the excitement I had inside of me.
"Do you like it?" He smiled, and I looked at him.
