Chapter 51: Chapter 51

Melvin immediately approached Danas. He grabbed Danas' shoulder with a panicked look on his face.

"Are you okay?" Melvin asked Danas.

Danas looked up, her grimacing expression disappearing. The woman shook her head. "I'm okay," Danas said honestly.

Melvin growled in annoyance. He looked up. He looked at Renata who was now folding her arms in front of her chest while throwing a look in the other direction.

Melvin stood up. Whispered sharp words to his lover. "Are you really this rude?"

Renata glanced at her lover. Her brow furrowed in displeasure. "You're blaming me?!" said Renata, not expecting Melvin to scold her. "You should have told your wife not to walk anywhere. I just nudged her lightly, unintentionally but she's overreacting. I think she wanted to make you angry with me on purpose."

"Renata, Stop!" Melvin exclaimed. Making Renata freeze. She had never had Melvin's rude attitude before.

"I wanna talk to you," Melvin said in the end with his tone back to normal.

Melvin then squatted down again to carry Danas' body. Danas gasped a little. She didn't expect Melvin to carry her.

Danas reflexively wrapped her arms around Melvin's neck. "I-I can walk by myself, Melvin. You don't need to carry me," Danas said rejecting Melvin's treatment.

However, it's not Melvin if he's willing to listen to other people's requests. The man remained silent and walked towards Danas' room. He even passed Renata without saying anything.

The maid swiftly opened the door to Danas' room wide. Making way for Melvin to enter the room.

Melvin gently laid Danas down on the bed.

"Thank you," Danas said timidly. Because the expression on Melvin's face was still hard.

"You really don't feel pain? Don't lie to me," Melvin said firmly.

Danas shook his head quickly. "I'm not lying. I'm okay. Seriously," said Danas who wasn't actually telling the truth.

Danas still felt pain in her buttocks. However, she couldn't say those honest words. She knew that Melvin would probably be rude to Renata. Even though Renata had always slandered and hurt her, Danas didn't want to treat her as harshly.

Melvin was still looking into his eyes. Seeing whether Danas was telling the truth or not. Danas, who was stared at like that, took his eyes in another direction. She herself tried not to let Melvin find the lie in her eyes.

"You're lying," Melvin said. Then he pulled the blanket over Danas' legs and covered her up to her chest. "I'll call the doctor. You've got to tell the doctor the truth about which part hurts."

After saying that, Melvin left Danas' room. He immediately took his cell phone and called the obgyn doctor who was Danas' personal physician. After making sure the doctor would come to his house, Melvin moved on to confront the person who had hurt his wife.

"Have you always been rude to Danas behind my back?" Melvin said to Renata who was sitting on the living room sofa.

The woman's eyes were staring at the television broadcast in front of her. Ignoring Melvin who was now engaging her in conversation.

"Renata I'm talking to you," called Melvin trying to be patient.

However, Renata still didn't budge at all.

Melvin pulled Renata's upper arm. Forcing her to stand up and face him.

"Aw," Renata cried. However, Melvin didn't seem to care.

"Are you planning to hurt my future baby? I know you hate Danas, but can't you lower your ego to not hurt my child."

Renata released Melvin's hand that was on her arm.

"You're now defending Danas more than me? She provoked me first. I didn't push her on purpose anyway," Renata evaded. She was still lying to Melvin even when he had caught her.

"You still don't understand and only think about your feelings, Renata," Melvin growled.

"Me?!" Renata's tone rose. "You're selfish Melvin, you tell me to think about your feelings, when you yourself don't think about me. I asked you to divorce Danas, but what, you have Danas' child instead. Who's the selfish one here? You or me?!"

Melvin and Renata kept yelling at each other and blaming each other. None of the workers at Melvin's mansion dared to stop the argument.

"I'd better go back to my apartment. You've changed Melvin," Renata pointed out.

Then she turned her body around and left Melvin who was still engaging her in conversation.

"Okay, if that's what you want. This time I won't hold you back!" Melvin retorted not to be outdone.

Renata entered her room. She slammed the door shut with a loud bang. The woman stomped her feet. She pulled out her suitcase that she had put in the closet. Then put her clothes into the suitcase. She did it roughly.

Her chest rose and fell with the emotion. On the other hand, Renata's heart was still hoping that Melvin would come to her room and hug her from behind, saying that he was sorry for yelling at Renata and wishing for her not to leave the mansion.

However, all of that was just a fantasy. Because in reality, Melvin didn't hold her back at all. Even when Renata opened the door to her room and pulled the large suitcase out, Melvin still didn't say anything.

Renata's hands were clenched at her sides. She was determined to get back at Danas later.

Renata returned to her apartment by taxi. Melvin didn't care about her at all, even though he knew that she didn't have a car. He didn't offer her a ride at all.

It was as if he didn't care about her at all. During the trip Renata could only endure it all. Even so, a drop of tear fell down her cheek. She could only channel the emotion she held in her heart through tears.

When the taxi arrived in front of the lobby of the apartment building where Renata lived, the woman got out of there. She pulled the large suitcase into the elevator. Pressing the number where the unit was. When the elevator doors opened, Renata then stepped into her unit.

She opened the passcode on her apartment door and entered the apartment. Renata immediately took off her suitcase.

"Argh!" she shouted, as if releasing the emotions she had been holding back.

Renata threw her small bag on the floor. Then she threw everything near her.

She ran into her room. Then she shouted again.

"Danas, bitch!" she cursed as she shuffled her mattress. The woman went crazy.

"You think your life will be happy after taking Melvin away from me, huh?"

Renata then laughed thunderously. "Just look at Danas, I won't stay silent about the humiliation I received today, you will also feel my pain, Danas!"

Renata threw everything on her dressing table. The woman was going crazy. Tears were already rolling down her cheeks.

"I promise to ruin your life, Danas!" she cursed.

Renata clenched her hands into fists. She stared at the mirror that showed her in turmoil. Her eyes stared into the mirror, but her brain kept spinning ways to destroy Danas and take Melvin back into her arms.

Until her brain thought of an idea to make Melvin hate Danas again, and that would make her have Melvin again. Renata smiled wryly. She thought her plan would work. She immediately ran to her small bag that she had thrown on the floor.

She quickly opened the bag and took a flat object from there. Renata bit her lower lip waiting for her call to be received by the person on the other side.

"Hello." Renata's call was finally received.

The woman smiled widely. "Are you still unemployed?" she asked again.

She stared at her nail art as she listened to the complaints of the person across from her. "Hmm, well, I understand. It must be hard to find a job in the capital city, right?" said Renata with a tone made as if she felt the sadness of the person on the other side.

"I've got a job. Do you want it?" asked Renata.

"You just need to take pictures of everything a woman does. I'll tell you the person's home address, face, and name."

Renata smiled wryly as the person on the other side accepted the job.

"You just need to follow her. You don't have to do anything and I will pay you what you want," Renata negotiated.

Until finally the person on the other side agreed to Renata's request.

"Okay, I'll send the target profile right away. Just wait a minute," said Renata.

After that the cell phone connection was disconnected. Renata smiled, chuckled and laughed out loud. She felt like nature was on her side.

"Just look at Danas, I'm not staying silent. Wait for my beautiful gift for you, Danas."
